PORTABLE RESISTANCE-BASED EXERCISE MACHINE AND SYSTEM
An exercise system that may be rail-less, frameless, and/or portable is described. The exercise system includes a carriage having a plurality of wheels and a stationary platform. The stationary platform is independent of and separate from the carriage, and the stationary platform is freestanding. At least one tension member having a first end is attached to the carriage and a second end is detachably attached to the platform such that the carriage is movable on a horizontal plane parallel to a ground surface while the stationary platform remains in a fixed position.
VEHICULAR MOBILE STORAGE CART
A vehicular mobile storage cart, for a car having a hitch (21, 22), the cart comprising: a hitch gripping mechanism (30), connectable to the car hitch (21, 22); a lifting mechanism (40), connectable to the hitch gripping mechanism (30); and a wheel cart (10), connectable to the lifting mechanism; wherein the lifting mechanism being adapted to diminish its dimensions in a folded state thereof to allow opening a back door of a vehicle thereof when being folded.
Exercise storage system
An exercise storage system includes a storage compartment including at least one storage element. Exercise equipment is stored on the storage elements. A door is connected to the storage compartment with a hinge such that the viewing angle of the door is adjustable. A display on the door includes a backlit display and a mirrored display. A user may select exercise equipment from the storage compartment and perform an exercise activity while viewing the display.
Mobile Device Which Simulates Player Motion
A mobile device and system which simulates human motion. The device includes a base with a drive system for providing motion to the device. A receiver is provided which controls the drive system the receiver receives wireless control signals. Pads and a self-stabilizing component are provided on the device. The device accurately mimics the unpredictable motion of a human motion to provide a safer alternative to live interaction to increase participant safety and decrease the incidence of injuries during practice or drill sessions. The system includes at least one mobile device. The mobile device includes: a base having a drive system for providing motion to the device; a receiver which controls the drive system the receiver receives wireless control signals; and self-stabilizing component provided on the device. The system also includes a transmitter for transmitting the control signals to the receiver.
Bed exercise systems and methods
In an example, a bed exercise system includes a foot pad and first and second elastic connectors. The foot pad includes a rigid support member. The first elastic connector has a first end coupled to a first lateral side of the foot pad and a second end for coupling to a support structure. The second elastic connector has a first end coupled to a second lateral side of the foot pad and a second end coupling to the support structure. When the second ends of the first and second elastic connectors are coupled to the support structure: (i) the foot pad is movable between a first position and a second position relative to the support structure, and (ii) a tension on the first elastic connector and a tension on the second elastic connector increases as the foot pad moves from the first position to the second position.
HEATED STORAGE RACK
A storage and drying container for storing and drying outerwear, sports clothing or equipment is provided. The unit comprises an enclosure having a back wall, a front wall, a top wall, and two side walls defining the internal storage portion of the container. The container may also include shelf members for supporting the outerwear, sports clothing or equipment. The shelf members may optionally include holes for allowing for air circulation throughout the container in order to facilitate the drying of the outerwear, sports clothing or equipment placed in the chamber. Further the design of the drying container is such that sports equipment may remain in a bag, such as a hockey bag, thereby allowing for easy storage and drying prior to the next use. The container may be provided with a heating element and drying fan to encourage airflow to facilitate drying and temperature uniformity throughout the container.
SPORT DISC CARRYING DEVICE
A sport disc carrying device is a carrier for holding glow in the dark sport discs used for playing nighttime “Disc Golf.” The sport discs are formed from a glow in the dark material and the carrier has partitioned slots for holding a plurality of sport discs with the interior surfaces formed from a highly reflective material. Each sport disc slot has a light source for recharging the glow in the dark sport discs. The carrier has a rechargeable battery to enable use where no utility power is available
Ski pole holder
A ski pole holder for attachment to a chairlift is disclosed. A lower body portion includes a slot slightly wider than a ski pole shaft. An upper body portion includes a floor with a slot corresponding to the lower body slot, a peripheral wall with an opening in front, and an attachment to a bar of the chairlift.
Disc toss game
A disc tossing game for a plurality of players: This game consists of players tossing discs onto a base target component that is physically connected by hinging/casing components to a backstop component to form a game system. The backstop can be locked into a relatively perpendicular relationship to the base target. The base target and backstop planar surface pieces can be folded flat to each other for transport and storage. A carrying handle is built-in. Participating players, in turn, each toss a disc at the base target of the game system. The player whose disc ends up on the base target closest to the backstop for that turn of play wins all other discs tossed by other participants. This is a competitive game that is safe and can be played either indoors or outdoors by young or old.
THROWING GAME KIT AND RELATED METHODS
The disclosure concerns a collapsibly foldable throwing game kit for convenient storage and portability. The throwing game kit is configured for use indoors and outdoors, and includes a game grid having a plurality of grid receptacles, one or more throwing projectiles, a set of game cards, and score cards. The throwing game kit optionally includes a dowel for elevating one side of the game grid for orienting the game grid at an angle about a surface on which the game grid is placed. Related methods for playing various games using the throwing game kit are also described.
