Rotatable and Extendable Deployment System

Embodiments are directed to an aircraft, such as a tiltrotor, having an internal payload storage area. A rotatable deployment system is mounted within the payload storage area. The rotatable deployment system comprises a frame that is configured to rotate between a stowed position and a deployment position. Two extendible arms are attached to the frame, wherein each extendible arm is configured to move in opposite directions between a retracted position and a plurality of extended positions. Each extendible arm has a fixed end and a moving end. A payload mounting point on each moving end. The payload mounting point allows a payload to pan and tilt in azimuth and elevation.

An unmanned flying grenade launcher system is provided. The unmanned flying grenade launcher can include a portable unmanned aerial vehicle with an attachment apparatus configured to receive a standardized grenade launcher, and a servo coupled to adjust the angle of the grenade launcher relative to the portable unmanned aerial vehicle downward relative to the unmanned aerial vehicle. One or more telemetry systems can provide a visual indication of the unmanned aerial vehicle's surroundings to an operator, and can receive flight commands and firing commands from the operator such that a firing mechanism fires the standardized grenade launcher in response to the firing command.

Spinner mounted gun system

A spinner mounted gun system includes a receiver and a barrel connected to a mast of a rotorcraft.

Firearm support system

A firearm support system is adapted to be installed in a vehicle, in particular an aircraft. The vehicle includes a compartment to accommodate the crew. The compartment has: a bearing surface, an upper structure rising above the bearing surface, and an opening, through which a firearm shoots. The support system includes: an anchoring portion, for being fixed to the upper structure and located in the compartment; a mobile support, which is coupled to the anchoring portion in a mobile manner, is adapted for receiving the firearm, and allows the firearm to move between an operating position, in which the firearm is ready to shoot through the opening, and a non-operating position, in which the firearm is retracted.
