The invention also provides a plurality of such kits of parts, an aircraft seat unit and an aircraft cabin comprising a plurality of such aircraft seat units or made from such kit of parts, and methods of installing an aircraft seat unit.
Bench-back aircraft seat for aircraft passenger compartment suites
An aircraft seat for an aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a primary section with an upper actuatable portion and a lower actuatable portion. The primary section may be configured to actuate between a primary upright position and a primary lie-flat position. The aircraft seat may include an auxiliary section including an auxiliary seatback portion coupled to a privacy shell element of the aircraft passenger compartment suite and an auxiliary seat base portion configured to actuate between an auxiliary upright position and an auxiliary lie-flat position. The auxiliary seatback portion may include an actuatable element. The actuatable element may be configured to actuate between an open position and a closed position. The actuatable element may be configured to provide access to a stowage compartment when the actuatable element is in the open position.
Aircraft interior structure including a surface and an integrated footwell
An aircraft interior structure may include a social area section including a surface. The social area section may be accessible from a floor area of an aircraft cabin. The aircraft interior structure may include a passenger seating section proximate to an aircraft seat. The passenger seating section may include a footwell. The aircraft interior structure may include a partition separating the passenger seating section and a first portion of the social area section. The footwell of the passenger seating section may be positioned underneath at least one of the partition or the surface of the social area section in a second portion of the social area section.
Seat extension with modular length, unit comprising a seat extension and passenger cabin
A cabin of a vehicle for transporting passengers includes a plurality of units, each unit including a seat and a modular seat extension arranged staggered in the units. Each extension includes a shell having a front bottom and a rear opening determined by a hollow volume open towards the rear and a footrest area inside the hollow volume suitable for receiving the feet of a passenger. The shell of each extension includes an invariant portion and a modular portion located in front of the invariant portion. The modular portion making it possible during the fastening thereof to the invariant portion to obtain an extension with a length that can be modified between the opening and the bottom of the shell and, a width of passage towards the aisle between the seats and the extensions of the units is maintained constant during the use of the extensions by the passengers.
Aircraft passenger seat row with cabin attendant seat
Disclosed is an aircraft seat assembly provided as one continuous row generally including at least one passenger seat and a cabin attendant seat positioned at one end of the row, wherein the at least one passenger seat and the cabin attendant seat face in opposite directions. A transverse beam of the passenger seat frame portion of the assembly extends laterally outward to support a coupling assembly attached to the cabin attendant seat. In some cabin layouts, the aircraft seat assembly is positioned adjacent to a lateral passageway extending from a longitudinal aisle to an aircraft door such that the at least one passenger seat faces away from the lateral passageway and the cabin attendant seat faces toward the lateral passageway to position a seated cabin crew member with the passengers and proximate the aircraft door.
AIRCRAFT CABIN
An aircraft cabin (100) is disclosed. The aircraft cabin (100) comprises a plurality of pairs of seat units (120) positioned along an aisle (101). Each aisle seat unit (122 A) comprises an aisle seat (125A) and an aisle footwell (126 A) and each non-aisle seat unit (123 A) comprises a non-aisle seat (127 A) and a non-aisle footwell (128A). The aisle seat unit (122 A) and non-aisle seat unit (123A) are positioned with respect to one another such that the aisle seat (125A) faces towards a first end of the cabin (100) and has direct access to the aisle (101), the non-aisle seat (127A) faces towards a second, opposite end of the cabin (100). The aisle seat unit (122 A) is oriented at an angle with respect to the non-aisle seat unit (123 A) to provide the non-aisle seat unit (123 A) with an aisle access path (129 A) between the non-aisle seat (127 A) and the aisle footwell (126A). The width of the non-aisle footwell (128 A) is less than the width of the non-aisle seat (127A) and the aisle seat (125A) is positioned directly adjacent the non-aisle footwell (128A).
