Vehicle business class seat and stowage system
An aircraft that includes a fuselage having a floor, first and second outboard walls and an aisle, and a first seat and storage system that is positioned between the first outboard wall and the aisle. The first seat and storage system includes a seat that includes a seat back and a seat portion, and a storage assembly that includes a storage portion and an extension portion. The storage portion defines a storage interior and a storage opening and includes a cover that is movable between an open position and a closed position. The storage opening faces the aisle. The extension portion extends from the storage portion toward the first outboard wall. The storage assembly defines a top surface to which the seat is secured. The storage assembly defines an under seat cavity below a bottom surface of the extension portion.
DOUBLE BENCH SEAT FOR AIRCRAFT PASSENGERS
A double bench seat for transport craft passengers is disclosed having a sitting configuration and a lying configuration, and including a substantially vertical shell surrounding two independent twin seats. The two twin seats are oriented along the longitudinal axis of the aircraft, the two twin seats each assume, independently of one another, at least one chair-like position and one bed-like position, the two twin seats include a backrest and a seat, in the bed-like position, the two twin seats are extended by an extension. When the double bench seat is in the lying configuration, the two twin seats are in the bed-like position and arranged to be at the same height and to form a continuous horizontal surface with a width and length adapted to form a double bed that can accommodate two lying persons.
PASSENGER SEATING ARRANGEMENT
A passenger furniture device for a passenger seat provided within a vehicle cabin, in particular an aircraft cabin, comprising at least a base element comprising at least an upper utility surface for a passenger, a removable section element which is mounted to one side of the base element, and a simple latch mechanism. In particular, the latch mechanism may be a simple plug-in and clip device. The latch mechanism is an easy-to-handle releasable attachment and fixation device to release the removable section from the base element, particularly only by crew and service members of the aircraft. The latch mechanism is provided on the base element and the section element such that the section element is detachably mounted to the base element via the latch mechanism.
PASSENGER SEAT WITH REMOVABLE MODULAR COMPONENT
Described is a passenger seat having a center console. The center console has a stationary portion including: a stationary portion structural member positioned at a connecting end of the stationary portion; and a disconnect panel. The center console has a separable modular portion having: a separable modular portion structural member positioned at a connecting end of the separable modular portion and coupleable to the stationary portion structural member; and an electrical wiring consolidation device that includes: an electrical cable bundle; and an electrical connector coupleable to the disconnect panel. The stationary portion structural member, the disconnect panel, the separable modular portion structural member, and the electrical wiring consolidation device form a quick connect structure for coupling the separable modular portion with the stationary portion.
Aircraft seat unit
The aircraft seat unit includes a first seat 13, a second seat 14, an intermediate portion 15 disposed between the first seat 13 and the second seat 14, and a front wall 11 adjacent to the intermediate portion 15. An axis line X1 of the first seat 13 and an axis line X2 of the second seat 14 are respectively disposed at angles that are oriented in mutually opposite directions with respect to a traveling direction. The intermediate portion 15 is disposed in a space between the first set and the second seat and is capable of supporting a load of a bassinet 30 placed thereon. The front wall 11 includes engagement holes 11e that detachably engage with engagement portions 32 of the bassinet 30.
PERSONS WITH REDUCED MOBILITY (PRM) SUITE ACCESS WALL ASSEMBLY
A wall assembly for providing access to an aircraft passenger suite from an aisle area is disclosed. The wall assembly includes a base. The wall assembly includes a wall operationally coupled to the base and slidable with respect to the base between an open position and a closed position, the wall configured to be linearly slidable along a forward direction between the open position and the closed position. The wall assembly includes a dual latch system configured to selectively prevent a movement of the wall absent a simultaneous operation of multiple latches, the dual latch system comprising an upper latch; and a lower latch. The dual latch system configured to allow for the movement of the wall when the dual latch system is in an operated state but not necessarily in the unoperated state.
DUAL OPERATION EMERGENCY PASSAGE EGRESS SYSTEM
Examples provide a door assembly including a dual operation slide device for a sliding privacy door associated with a seat unit. The door assembly includes a sliding door movably mounted to a door support member of a seat unit. The door slides laterally between a retracted position and a deployed or partially deployed position. The dual operation slide device includes a trigger and release mechanism for switching the door assembly from a primary track system used during a normal operation mode to a secondary track system used during a backup operation mode if the primary track becomes jammed or otherwise malfunctions based on manual activation of a release lever or force applied activation. The dual operation slide device enables a user to return the sliding door to a retracted position after a failure of the primary slide units to operate in the normal operational mode.
Environmental condition sensing system
Fibre optics for distributed environmental condition and/or air quality sensing such as, but not limited to, sensing air quality in enclosed areas of an aircraft such as the passenger cabin. Fibre optics can be used for sensing and for communication and are therefore well suited to the distributed sensing of environmental conditions such as temperature, relative humidity, gas and particulate composition within spaces of the aircraft e.g. the cabin, cargo space, cockpit, electronics bay etc. and in related systems such as the environmental control system (ECS), the cabin recirculation system, bleed air system etc.
Device to resolve angled ottoman configuration
A deployable ottoman extension fills the gap between the ottoman and fully reclined oblique aircraft seat. The deployable ottoman extension can pivot out from the ottoman about a pivot point and/or slide out along a rail. Alternatively, the ottoman extension may be hinged to the ottoman to deploy by flipping down. The deployable ottoman extension may include deployable support features that extend to the aircraft floor when deployed.
AIRCRAFT PASSENGER SEAT UNIT AND ASSOCIATED CABIN ARRANGEMENT
An airliner type aircraft passenger seat unit includes a seat that can be converted into a bed and a body isolating the seat from neighboring seats. The seat includes a seat section and a backrest that are movable. The body includes a rear partition, a side panel, on one side of the seat, and a console topped with a tray table, on the other side of the seat. The side panel and an outer wall of the console being parallel and spaced apart by a distance L between 1000 mm and 1600 mm. The passenger seat unit further includes a single motorized mechanism, to simultaneously actuate the movements of the seat section and the backrest, but remains capable of receiving one or more additional motorized mechanisms.
