Provided is an aircraft seat structure capable of ensuring passenger comfort and effectively utilizing space in the cabin. The aircraft seat structure includes a first seat unit having a first seat region in which passengers are able to sit, and a first side region adjacent in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the first seat region; and a second seat unit having a second seat region in which passengers are able to sit, and a second side region adjacent in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the second seat region. The first side region is provided on one side of the first seat region along a direction that intersects a traveling direction of an aircraft, and the second side region is provided on another side of the second seat region along the direction that intersects the traveling direction of the aircraft. The first side region and the second seat region are joined in a state in which a portion of the second seat region is inserted into the first side region. The first side region and the second side region are separated by a partition wall, and the partition wall has an inclined surface tilted toward the second seat unit.

Improved seating arrangements for a vehicle cabin of a passenger transport system, in particular of an aircraft are disclosed. Examples herein provide improved seating arrangements providing a high density of seats and increased PAX numbers while ensuring privacy, comfort and a direct aisle access to each passenger. For example, the seating arrangements provided herein are applicable to narrow body aircrafts and wide body aircrafts, in particular in view of business class solutions.

In accordance with at least one aspect of this disclosure, a system for preventing spread of contagion in a passenger vehicle includes, a barrier housing configured to mount to a first surface in the passenger vehicle, a retractable barrier housed in the barrier housing configured to move between a deployed position and a retracted position, a retraction mechanism operatively connected to the retractable barrier within the barrier housing configured to bias the retractable barrier to the retracted position, and a barrier retainer configured to mount to a second surface in the passenger vehicle opposite the first surface to retain the retractable barrier in the deployed position. In certain embodiments, the retractable barrier can include a free end configured to be pulled by a user.

Further, the door slide device comprises at least a slide carrier bracket fixed to the base structure or the door element, at least one slide unit which is coupled to the slide carrier bracket in a normal operation mode, and at least one separate auxiliary slide arrangement.

Abstract: A passenger seat assembly includes a passenger seat and a retractable divider assembly. The passenger seat includes a first side, a second side opposite from the first side, and a forward-facing surface extending between the first side and the second side. The retractable divider assembly is attached to the passenger seat proximate to the first side of the passenger seat and includes a divider. The divider is movable between a stowed position and a deployed position. In the deployed position, the divider extends in a forward direction relative to the forward-facing surface of the passenger seat.

An aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a privacy divider configured to separate a first side of the aircraft passenger compartment suite including a first aircraft seat and a second side of the aircraft passenger compartment suite including a second aircraft seat. The aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a collapsible display device positioned proximate to the privacy divider of the aircraft passenger compartment suite. The aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a first display device and a first plate configured to be an extension of a horizontal surface in the first side when the first display device is in a first display device stowed position. The aircraft passenger compartment suite may include a second display device and a second plate configured to be an extension of a horizontal surface in the second side when the second display device is in a second display device stowed position.

Further, a configuration of the seats in the vehicle can be determined based on the occupancy data and the states of the vehicle. The configuration can include a disposition of the seats inside the vehicle. Furthermore, at least one of the seats can be adjusted based on the configuration that was determined.

One representative seat unit structure according to the present invention relates to a seat unit structure configured to support a seat, wherein the structure has a lower structure having a monocoque structure and defines an outermost shell in at least one direction of the seat unit. That is, the member mounted in the one direction of the seat unit can be stored inside the outermost shell of the structure. In addition, the one direction is the width direction of the airframe.
