Lightweight inflatable device for play or training
10953289 · 2021-03-23 ·

A device has a lightweight inner bladder and an outer layer that covers the inner bladder. The inner bladder bunches up, crunches, becomes pleated, folded or the like against the inner surface of the outer layer. The bunched up surface of the inner bladder may be flattened and/or reconfigured upon impact, thereby absorbing energy. The bunched up inner bladder may create an uneven surface on the outer layer thereby altering the manner through which the device travels through the air. The device may be configured for any of a variety of sports or games such as, for example, a simulated soccer ball, football, rugby ball, baseball and/or softball, a tennis ball, a beachball or other oversized ball, a golf ball, a flying disc, a weighted punching bag, or any of a wide variety of devices for play and/or training.

METHOD, ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM FOR ESTABLISHING COURT INFORMATION

A method for establishing court information is provided. The method includes: establishing connection with an external smart ball; providing a prompt message indicating to move the external smart ball from a first characteristic spot of a court to a second characteristic spot of the court; obtaining sensing information from the external smart ball after providing the prompt message; calculating a movement trajectory of the external smart ball according to the sensing information; and obtaining a direction of a line connecting the first characteristic spot and the second characteristic spot in a geomagnetic coordinate. An electronic device and a non-transitory computer readable storage medium using the method are also provided.

A game net for playing a game involving hitting an object back-and-forth between players located on opposite sides of the net. The game net has a netting or panel that is supportable on a frame or otherwise above a ground surface and is movable from location to location. The netting or panel has an opening or window formed completely therethrough to provide passage of the object through the netting or panel when hit by one or more players located on opposite sides of the netting or panel. With the game net, players must direct the object more accurately through the window with a higher degree of precision than what is required to pass an object over existing game nets.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TRACKING A PROJECTILE

An apparatus comprising a practice device for practice of hitting a tennis ball includes a server configured for serving the tennis ball to a user, a net disposed to intercept a flight of the tennis ball after the tennis bell has been hit by the user using a racket and to direct the captured tennis ball back towards the server to be served again to the user, an image detector configured to observe the tennis ball as the tennis ball hurtles towards the net, and a processor. The processor determines, based at least in part on image frames received from the image detector, data indicative of the tennis ball's virtual landing spot. This virtual landing spot is an estimate of where the tennis ball would have landed on an opposing court had the tennis ball not been intercepted by the net.

INFLATABLE PLYOMETRIC BOX
20210052936 · 2021-02-25 ·

An inflatable plyometric box having a first inflatable member adapted to be inflated to a pressure, a second inflatable member on top of the first inflatable member and adapted to be inflated to a pressure, and a connecting member connected to the first inflatable member and the second inflatable member which secures the first inflatable member to the second inflatable member. The first and second inflatable members incorporate drop stitch technology which provides substantial rigidity to first and second inflatable members when the first and second inflatable members are inflated to the pressures. Thus the inflatable plyometric box is substantially rigid to support a user landing on the top of the inflatable plyometric box. The inflatable plyometric box may include a stabilizing member which may be connected to the bottom of the inflatable plyometric box, wherein the stabilizing member is adapted to increase the stability of the inflatable plyometric box.
