SEAT LIGHT SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AIRCRAFT CABINS
A light system may comprise: a seat back housing configured to be coupled to a seat in an aircraft; a light assembly coupled to the seat back housing, the light assembly comprising: a main body at least partially disposed in the seatback housing in response to the light assembly being in a stowed state, the main body coupled to a joint and configured to move relative to the joint, and a light coupled to the main body.
Integrated seating armrest, stowage and bed surface
An aircraft seat for an aircraft passenger compartment suite is disclosed. In embodiments, the aircraft seat includes a primary section including a primary seatback portion and a primary seat base portion, and an auxiliary section including an auxiliary seatback portion and an auxiliary seat base portion. In embodiments, the aircraft seat may further include an actuatable element configured to actuate between an open position and a closed position. The actuatable element may include a first surface which defines at least a portion of the auxiliary seatback portion when the actuatable element is in the closed position, and a second surface which defines a surface of an armrest when the actuatable element is in the open position.
Seat cable adjustment system and method
A seat assembly within an internal cabin of a vehicle includes an electrical interface housing that contains a first portion of a cable that is configured to provide one or both of electrical power or electrical signals to one or more electrical components. A cable reel rotatably coupled to a body of the electrical interface housing. The cable reel is configured to rotate about an axis. The first portion of the cable includes an adjustable coil that is coiled around the cable reel. The cable reel is rotatable in a first direction to deploy the first portion of the cable outwardly from the electrical interface housing and a second direction to retract the first portion of the cable inwardly into the electrical interface housing.
CONTACTLESS DATA COMMUNICATION AND ELECTRIC POWER SUPPLY DEVICE, IN PARTICULAR FOR AN AIRCRAFT
A device having at least one communication unit arranged in a wall of the aircraft and at least one communication unit arranged in a seat of the aircraft, which are able to cooperate with one another in order to communicate data by means of visible light. The device also includes at least one inductive transmitter arranged in the wall and at least one inductive receiver arranged in the seat, which are able to cooperate with one another in order to transmit electric power by induction. Also a system with such a device and an aircraft with such a device or such a system.
ELECTRICAL POWER DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DETERMINING A PROFILE OF TEMPERATURE AS A FUNCTION OF ELECTRICAL POWER MADE AVAILABLE TO ELECTRICAL CONSUMERS
An electrical power distribution system with least one converter module having a converter to make electrical DC voltage power with adjustable maximum power values available on a multiplicity of electrical output interfaces of the converter module up to a maximum module power value and a temperature control apparatus having a temperature measuring apparatus. The temperature control apparatus is coupled upstream of the at least one converter module to adapt the maximum module power value of the at least one converter module as a function of the temperature of the power distribution system as measured by the temperature measuring apparatus. The temperature control apparatus is designed to create a profile of the temperatures measured by the temperature measuring apparatus as a function of the maximum power values made available by the converter.
DISPLAY APPARATUS
An electronic display apparatus comprising a support frame, wherein mounted within the support frame there is an electronic display configured to display content based on image data, and a display driver circuit to receive the image data and to supply an image signal to the electronic display to cause the electronic display to display the content, the image signal based on the image data. Also mounted in the support frame is a connector cable connecting the display driver circuit and the electronic display for transmission of the image signal from the display driver circuit to the electronic display. The support frame is mountable to one or more surfaces so as to mount the electronic display to a first portion of the one or more surfaces and mount the display driver circuit to a second portion of the one or more surfaces that is away from the first portion, and the support frame maintains the electronic display in a spaced relationship from the display driver circuit.
PASSENGER SEAT WIRE ROUTING
A passenger seat includes a spreader frame structure and a seat back pivotally attached to the spreader frame structure. At least one cable can pass through apertures between the seat back and the spreader frame structure. The seat can rotate between an upright configuration wherein the seat back is in a deployed position, and a break over configuration wherein the seat back is in a stowed position. The length of the at least one cable between the aperture in the seat back and the aperture in the spreader frame structure is approximately the same in the upright configuration and in the break over configuration.
Compound multi-copter aircraft
A compound aircraft embodies an array of rotors for vertical flight positioned on support booms and wing elements for cruise flight coupled to a central fuselage housing avionics and a pusher propeller for forward propulsion. The aircraft accommodates a cargo-carrying container with mating of the surfaces between container and fuselage and latching mechanisms for attaching and detaching the container and vehicle.
POWER MANAGEMENT OF AIRCRAFT SEAT POWER USING A SMART POWER DISTRIBUTION CONNECTOR
In an aircraft seat power system, a Smart Power Distribution Connector (PDC) connects a power supply to multiple power outlets. Power to each outlet is monitored and controlled directly by the PDC that is in turn monitored and controlled by the power source. The power source and the PDC share a communication bus through which instructions and responses are communicated. The PDC has the ability to communicate with the outlets by sending instructions and monitoring and acting on the responses from the outlets. The system allows for power management from a supply of limited power. The PDC can provide current limiting, allowing the use of lighter weight and smaller wire and other components.
