A system and method is provided for data over power in an aircraft that includes a direct current power source for providing power over power lines to devices onboard the aircraft and a data injector coupled to the power lines for digitally modulating radio frequency data onto twisted pair data over power lines to provide data and power to the devices. A controller is coupled to the direct current power source and the data injector for providing the data to digitally modulate the radio frequency onto the twisted pair data over power lines such that power for the devices onboard the aircraft and data for control of the device onboard the aircraft are provided to the devices onboard the aircraft over the twisted pair data over power lines.

Aircraft sideboard

An aircraft sideboard includes a first portion with a first top surface and a first panel. The first top surface is disposed substantially horizontally at a first height and the first panel is disposed substantially vertically adjacent to the first top surface. A second portion is disposed adjacent to the first portion at a first end of the first portion. The second portion includes a second top surface and a second panel. The second top surface is disposed substantially horizontally at a second height and the second panel is disposed substantially vertically adjacent to the second top surface. A table is stowed interiorly to the first portion. The table extends from the first portion when deployed. The first top surface is immovable. The table deploys by tilting the first panel along a pivot axis defined adjacent to a bottom end thereof. The first height is greater than the second height.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PAIRING A PERSONAL ELECTRONIC DEVICE ON A TRANSPORTATION VEHICLE

Methods and systems for a transportation vehicle are provided. For example, one method includes generating a request to associate an electronic device with a system of a transportation vehicle; generating a image with a pattern and displaying the image with the pattern on a display device; entering the displayed pattern by a user; verifying that the entered pattern matches with the displayed pattern; and enabling communication from the electronic device to the system of the transportation vehicle for managing one or more seat control functions.
