SEAT UNIBEAM WITH ELECTRONICS PACKAGES
A seat unibeam may include a defined cavity, a hole in an end of the seat unibeam, and an exterior surface. The defined cavity may be dimensioned to receive an electronics package inserted within the seat unibeam. The electronics package may include a plurality of electronics package sections. The hole may lead to the defined cavity. Each of the plurality of electronics package sections may be inserted into the cavity defined in the seat unibeam via the hole in the end of the seat unibeam. The exterior surface may be dimensioned to pass through at least one hole in a plurality of seat legs. The exterior surface may be dimensioned to pass through at least one hole in a plurality of spreaders including adjacent spreaders configured to support one or more components of an aircraft seat of the set of aircraft seats.
Multi-mode transformable monuments for aircraft doorway spaces
Transformable monuments may be positioned proximate to aircraft exit doors to utilize the doorway spaces as temporary workspaces for cabin crew or destination spaces for passengers once cruising altitude is achieved. A transformable monument includes transforming portions that extend or pivot into an aircraft cross-aisle upon actuation of an exterior latch by either hand. The transforming portions extend or pivot into horizontal surfaces for crew or passenger use while protecting the exit doors from unauthorized access by passengers inflight. Transforming portions of a single monument may extend partially or fully across the cross-aisle, or a system of two transformable monuments on either side of the exit door may collectively define the temporary space. The upper and middle sections of the monument may include additional storage or self-service compartments for providing refreshments or other amenities to passengers.
PLUG-IN CONNECTION SOCKET AND PASSENGER SERVICE MODULE
A plug-in connection box for vehicles has a socket and a return apparatus. The socket, is accessible from an access side and has an insertion direction. The socket is arranged in a pivot body, which is mounted in a movable manner in relation to a receptacle in such a way that the insertion direction of the socket is pivotable at an angle in all directions starting from a stationary state of the pivot body. The return apparatus is configured to return the pivot body to the stationary state.
Seat frame fastening assembly, seat frame, vehicle portion and vehicle having a seat frame fastening assembly
A seat frame fastening assembly for laterally fastening a seat frame in a vehicle, wherein the seat frame fastening assembly comprises a holding rail arranged in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle, and a lateral element laterally fastened to a seat frame and coupled to the holding rail. The holding rail comprises a first power- and/or data-transfer interface and the lateral holding element comprises a second power- and/or data-transfer interface. The second power- and/or data-transfer interface is furthermore arranged in the lateral holding element such that a position of the second power- and/or data-transfer interface corresponds to a position of the first power- and/or data-transfer interface when the lateral holding element is coupled to the holding rail. Furthermore, a seat frame has such a seat frame fastening assembly, a vehicle portion has a corresponding seat frame and a vehicle has such a vehicle portion.
Logical to physical mapping of aircraft electronic components
Examples for logical to physical mapping of aircraft electronic components are presented. A system may include aircraft electronic components coupled sequentially to a power wire, corresponding controllers, and a master computing device. The computing device may receive a first identifier for a first component from a first controller in response to the first controller receiving power at a first time from the power wire and a second identifier for a second component from a second controller in response to the second controller receiving power at a second time from the power wire. The second time is subsequent to the first time. The computing device determines locations for the first and second component within the aircraft based on an order of reception of the identifiers.
Software and communications system and method in an aircraft
The invention concerns a communications system and a communications method and software for passengers in an aircraft. The aircraft comprises an aircraft-supported data-processing arrangement and at least one on-board communications interface for communication with a passenger appliance, the communications system being arranged to receive a passenger profile from the passenger appliance by means of the communications interface of the aircraft and transmitting it to the data-processing arrangement.
Power pack for the seat-related supply of power to an electrical unit, in particular in an airplane, and method for wireless reading out of status information of a power pack
A power pack for a seat-related supply of power, such as an airplane seat, to an electrical unit having an interface for outputting status information. The interface is configured to provide an optical output of the status information. A method for wirelessly reading out status information of the power pack includes the steps of collecting status information, optically transmitting the collected status information, receiving the collected status information with a mobile receive device, and representing the collected status information on the mobile receive device.
SEAT UNIT STRUCTURE, SEAT UNIT, AND ATTACHMENT METHOD THEREOF
An object of the present invention is to provide a seat unit structure, a seat unit, and an attachment method thereof in which component reinstallation does not arise when the seat unit is attached in an aircraft. One representative seat unit structure according to the present invention relates to a seat unit structure configured to support a seat, wherein the structure has a lower structure having a monocoque structure and defines an outermost shell in at least one direction of the seat unit. That is, the member mounted in the one direction of the seat unit can be stored inside the outermost shell of the structure. In addition, the one direction is the width direction of the airframe.
SYSTEM AND METHODS OF EMPLOYING DATA OVER POWER IN AIRCRAFT
A system and method is provided for data over power in an aircraft that includes a direct current power source for providing power over power lines to devices onboard the aircraft and a data injector coupled to the power lines for digitally modulating radio frequency data onto twisted pair data over power lines to provide data and power to the devices. A controller is coupled to the direct current power source and the data injector for providing the data to digitally modulate the radio frequency onto the twisted pair data over power lines such that power for the devices onboard the aircraft and data for control of the device onboard the aircraft are provided to the devices onboard the aircraft over the twisted pair data over power lines.
Aircraft passenger seat device with a connection unit comprising an impact safety device
Aircraft passenger seat device includes an aircraft seat row, comprising having a mounting unit, and three or more neighboring seat areas. In the two outer seat areas, an aircraft seat with a seat bottom and a backrest is mounted to the mounting unit. In the middle seat area a backrest base body is mounted to the mounting unit. In one or more operating states a detachable center console is detachably mounted to the mounting unit in the middle seat area forming a separation between the two outer seats. The backrest base body has one or more functional elements on its rear side provided for the use by a passenger sitting behind.
