Contoured stowable seat
A contoured stowable seat is provided. The contoured stowable seat may comprise a housing, a seat pan, a contoured backrest, and a deployment lever. The contoured stowable seat may be configured to be in a stowed position and a deployed position. In response to the seat pan being in the deployed position, the deployment lever may contact the contoured backrest, causing the contoured backrest to deploy and form into a contoured shape. The contoured stowable seat may also further comprise a tension cord and a headrest. The contoured backrest may also further comprise a cushion located on the outer surface of the contoured backrest.
Aircraft-based modular door panel assembly
In one embodiment, a modular door panel assembly for an aircraft comprises a door surround that interfaces with a door aperture of the aircraft to ensure aircraft pressurization, a first hole in an upper portion of the door surround configured to accommodate a modular upper panel assembly such that a portion of the door surround around the first hole is capable of interfacing with the modular upper panel assembly to ensure aircraft pressurization, a second hole in a lower portion of the door surround configured to accommodate a modular lower panel assembly such that a portion of the door surround around the second hole is capable of interfacing with the modular lower panel assembly to ensure aircraft pressurization, and a strut actuator aperture below the second hole that is configured to interface with an articulated strut to ensure pressurization.
COVER PANEL FOR A STRUCTURAL COMPONENT
A cover panel for a core panel of a structural aircraft component includes a protection cover having an outer shape corresponding to the outer shape of the core panel and including at least one cutout aperture, and at least one fabric panel mounted to the protection cover and covering the at least one cutout aperture.
Convertible cabin attendant seat
A cabin attendant seat comprises a seat element and a backrest. The backrest is movable relative to the seat element between an upright position, wherein a backrest surface of the backrest extends at an angle of approximately 80 to 100 relative to a seat surface of the seat element, and a folded-back position, wherein the backrest surface of the backrest extends substantially co-planar with the seat surface of the seat element.
Aircraft seat with nested energy attenuation guide system
An aircraft seat assembly including stanchions defining elongated guide channels and elongated motion sleds nested in the guide channels and affixed to a seat bucket. An energy absorber implemented as a wire bender assembly is coupled between the stanchions and the motion sled. In use, the elongated guide channels guide motion of the motion sleds and the wire bender assemblies attenuate energy during a dynamic event exceeding a predetermined threshold load value. The elongated interface between the guide channels and motion sleds serve to transfer excessive loading to the seat frame thereby protecting the seat assembly from damage and the occupant from excessive lumbar spinal loads.
Apparatus for holding a cabin attendant seat, cabin arrangement in a vehicle and vehicle having a cabin and such a cabin arrangement
An apparatus for holding a cabin attendant seat in a cabin of a vehicle includes a base body attachable to a wall surface in the cabin, at least one holding mechanism for holding a cabin attendant seat, at least one linear movement mechanism, and at least one arresting mechanism. The at least one linear movement mechanism is attached to the base body and supports the at least one holding mechanism. The at least one linear movement mechanism is configured for laterally moving the at least one holding mechanism between at least two laterally distanced discrete positions. The at least one arresting mechanism is coupled with the at least one linear movement mechanism and is configured for arresting the at least one linear movement mechanism in the at least two discrete positions. By this apparatus a very space effective provision of a cabin attendant seat especially on a monument is given.
Aircraft-based Modular Door Panel Assembly
In one embodiment, a method of installing a modular door panel assembly for an aircraft includes: providing a door surround for a door aperture of the aircraft, the door surround having at least a first hole in an upper portion of the door surround and a second hole in a lower portion of the door surround; inserting a modular upper panel assembly into the first hole of the door surround such that a portion of the door surround around the first hole interfaces with the modular upper panel assembly; inserting a modular lower panel assembly into the second hole of the door surround such that a portion of the door surround around the second hole interfaces with the modular lower panel assembly; and connecting the door surround with the door aperture of the aircraft to ensure aircraft pressurization.
Space-optimized cabin attendant standing seat for aircraft
An aircraft comprising a space-optimized standing seat for cabin attendants in a passenger cabin is provided. The aircraft comprises a cabin attendant seat and a cabin with an aircraft exit. The cabin attendant seat comprises a seating area and a backrest and is arranged in the region of the aircraft exit. Therein, the cabin attendant seat is designed as a standing seat.
PASSENGER COMPARTMENT FOR A CABIN OF AN AIRCRAFT
A passenger compartment for the interior of an aircraft, the passenger compartment adapted for a passenger caring for a baby, the compartment comprising, a first side wall, a second side wall, a back wall joining the first side wall to the second side wall, a front wall opposite the back wall, the front wall comprising a door to allow the passenger to enter and exit the compartment, a seat comprising a portion pivotally attached to the first side wall, a foldable changing table for changing a baby, the foldable changing table pivotally attached to the back wall, a bassinet attached to the second side wall, wherein a maximum distance between the first side wall and the second side wall is less than 160 cm.
AIR-GROUND TRANSPORTATION SYSTEMS WITH ADVANCED SAFETY
A transportation system includes a body, a plurality of propulsion units, and a control unit. The body defines an interior space. The plurality of propulsion units are mounted on the body. Each of the plurality of propulsion units includes a thrust-generating mechanism and a power source. The thrust-generating mechanism is configured to produce a propulsion force. The control unit is operatively coupled to each of the plurality of propulsion units. The transportation system further includes a housing unit or a pilot attachment disposed within the interior space. The housing unit or the pilot attachment is suspended by at least one connecting element or a suspension mechanism which is configured to dampen and/or stabilize and/or actively adjust movement relative to the body.
