PICKLEBALL PADDLE
A pickleball paddle includes a paddle body and a handle connected to the paddle body. At least one hollow member is disposed in the paddle body. Rolling members that can roll in the hollow member are disposed in the hollow member. By providing the at least one hollow member in the paddle body and the rolling members that can roll in the hollow member, the pickleball paddle can enhance an explosive force for hitting a ball and absorb vibrations.
Resilient deck structure
According to a resilient platform assembly, a playing deck includes a plurality of horizontally disposed deck panels. Each deck panel of the plurality of horizontally disposed deck panels has a pair of foot flanges on the bottom of the deck panels. Receiving shoes are attached to the deck panels. The receiving shoes are configured to receive the foot flanges of the deck panels. A transverse member is perpendicular to the plurality of horizontally disposed deck panels. The transverse member includes a plurality of notches. Each notch of the plurality of notches is cut in the transverse member in a predetermined spacing pattern. The receiving shoes are installed in the notches and the deck panels are attached to the transverse member through the receiving shoes. Resilient mounts connect the transverse member to a support assembly and allow relative motion between the transverse member and the support assembly.
HEATED HANDLE FOR SPORTING EQUIPMENT
A heated sports handle for paddles or racquets for use in cold environments. The handle includes a thermoelectric wrap and a power module. The power module can regulate its output to provide sufficient energy to warm the hand of a user of the paddle. The handle includes a housing to provide structural integrity and a filler material to provide shock absorption for the power module during play. A temperature setting of the handle may be adjustable. The power module may be rechargeable, including optionally by wireless means. The handle is configured for communication with a smartphone or similar device.
BALL RETRIEVAL SYSTEM AND METHOD
A tennis ball retriever for retrieving a tennis ball on and about a tennis court and for controllably releasing the ball includes a front-end ball collector having two spaced-apart blades defining a ball collection space. The retriever includes one or more detents for retaining the collected ball in the collection space until a programmed or manually-directed release toward a target location such as a tennis baseline. The retriever includes a processor-controller for controlling and directing the retriever during a retrieval session. The retriever may be remote-controlled such as by voice commands.
Pickleball Court Marking and Process for Improved Line Calling
This disclosure describes a pressure-sensitive marking tape or paint for pickleball, pickleball courts formed using the marking tape or paint, and pickleball ball inbounds or out of bounds determinations using the marking tape or paint. The marking tape or paid is configured to, when set on the playing surface of a pickleball court, generate a visually detectable temporary localized variation, in the color or the like, of the marking tape or paint at the point of contact by a pickleball ball. The temporary localized variations enable clear determination of whether the pickleball ball is inbounds or out of bounds during game play.
Pickleball racket with cloth or leather
A pickleball racket is provided with cloth or leather and includes a body composed of a base material layer and two panels. The panels are respectively superimposed on both surfaces of the base material layer. An outer peripheral surface of the body is wrapped with a plastic strip as an edge. The body includes a racket body and a handle integrally connected to the racket body. An outer surface of each panel is covered with cloth or leather as a frameless edge. The frameless edge can be wrapped with the leather or the cloth. The cloth or the leather is located on an outer surface of the racket body. By covering the outer surfaces of the two panels with the cloth or the leather, the cloth or the leather is located on the outer surface of the racket body.
PICKLEBALL PADDLE AND METHOD
A composite molded sports paddle comprising a head with a hitting surface; a throat; and a handle, wherein the hitting surface includes a molded textured area.
APPARATUS FOR PADDLE SPORT TRAINING
An apparatus for paddle training. The training teaches the student to limit their wrist motion while swinging their paddle. The paddle training apparatus with a wrist cuff that surrounds the wrist and forearm of the student, a connecting member with a cuff attachment element. The cuff attachment element is removably attachable to the wrist cuff and the cuff attachment element removably receives the connecting member. A paddle attachment element fixedly attached to the other end of the connecting member and the paddle attachment element facilitates removable attachment of the connecting member to the paddle.
Pickleball Training Apparatus
A pickleball training apparatus that includes a base; a substantially vertical stem configured to engage the base; and an arm assembly coupled to the vertical stem, the arm assembly having: a) a coupler having: i) a bearing configured to engage the vertical stem; ii) one or more apertures; and iii) one or more stand offs; b) one or more arms each having a proximal end configured to engage the one or more apertures of the coupling; and c) a ball connected to a distal end of each of the one or more arms; the one or more arms are substantially rigid and extend in a substantially horizontal orientation from the coupler and the substantially vertical base; and the one or more stand offs extend from the coupler in a generally vertical orientation.
