Method for Applying Resistance Through Exercise Clothing
A method and apparatus for exercising a muscle in a given agonist and antagonist muscle pair of a user's human body by providing an elongated elastic band having a first length when no external forces are applied thereto, elongating the elastic band to a second length that is greater than the first length, securing the elastic band to a garment in a manner whereby when the elastic band is installed on the garment an axial force is imposed on the body of the user and the elastic band is disposed in aligned proximate relationship with at least one of the muscles in a given pair of muscles comprising an agonist muscle and antagonist muscle pair.
Training instrument and input device
A non-limiting example training instrument comprises a hollow main body formed of an aluminum alloy. The main body is constituted by two gripping portions opposite to each other with a space therebetween and a coupling portion coupling the two gripping portions. A load sensor is arranged in the coupling portion inside the main body. The load sensor is a load cell, a strain gauge affixed to an interior of the main body, and a part of the main body to which the strain gauge is affixed functions as a strain body. Therefore, if a user applies a force so as to bring the two gripping portions close to each other or a force so as to move the two gripping portions away from each other, a load thereof is detected by the load sensor.
HINGED ARM MUSCLE EXERCISE DEVICE
In one example, a muscle exercise device includes a first arm, a second arm rotatably connected to the first arm, and the second arm and first arm configured to cooperatively define a recess. The muscle exercise device also includes a resistance element configured to reside in the recess and be compressed between the first arm and the second arm, and a wireless transmitter disposed in either the first arm or the second arm, wherein the wireless transmitter is responsive to communications from an app residing on a user device.
Respiratory pressure training strap and using method thereof
A respiratory pressure training strap includes a waist-back support, two shoulder straps, a chest strap and a belly strap; wherein the waist-back support is a main body of the respiratory pressure training strap, an upper portion of the waist-back support is connected to first ends of the shoulder straps, and a lower portion of the waist-back support is connected to the belly strap as well as second ends of the shoulder straps; wherein two ends of the chest strap are respectively connected to a left shoulder strap and a right shoulder strap of the shoulder straps; wherein the belly strap laterally extends from the lower portion of the waist-back support; wherein respiratory pressure regulators are respectively arranged on the waist-back support, the chest strap, and the belly strap. The present invention can realize the respiratory posture correction for the user by the reverse pressures.
NEUROMUSCULAR TRAINING APPARATUS AND METHOD
An apparatus and method for automating neuromuscular training. The apparatus may be used in conjunction with a human trainer or by a person training alone. The apparatus and method may be applied to various forms of neuromuscular training, The apparatus may be employed by a person desiring training in an environment with a human trainer as well as, or alternatively, in a home environment for personal training.
Embodiments enable training of relative motions between body parts such as the head, neck, shoulders, upper torso, lower torso. These relative motions may be linear and/or angular. Pressure/sensor assemblies facilitate both the suggestion of desired motions as well as sensing of the person's neuromuscular response to these suggestions.
Trampoline support handle systems
A trampoline support handle system with which a trampoline, in particular a mini or smaller trampoline version, can be held in place during use by inserting existing legs of the trampoline into hollow tubes mounted on a frame of the system that seats underneath the trampoline on a floor. The system also includes an additional hollow tube into which an extendable and height adjustable long handle bar is inserted for a user to steady themselves during exercise or use. The system provides a more robust and long lasting solution to handle systems for trampolines.
FIELDING AID ACCESSORY TO SECURE ON A FOREARM OF A PLAYER TO ENSURE OPTIMAL ARM POSITION
Disclosed is a fielding aid accessory to secure on a forearm of a player to ensure optimal arm position. In one embodiment, a fielding aid accessory includes a rectangular arcuate panel, a first loop strap, a first hook strap, a second extension strap, and a retaining element. The first loop strap and the first hook strap are anchored at a center of a first side of the rectangular arcuate panel to wrappably attach and secure the fielding aid accessory onto a forearm of an athlete. The second extension strap is anchored on a second side of a top of the rectangular arcuate panel to extend over and through a center opening of a fielding glove to securely affix the fielding glove to the rectangular arcuate panel. The retaining element is anchored at a bottom side of the rectangular arcuate panel to enable the athlete to securely position the fingers of the athlete.
Chair-based workout apparatus and methods
A workout system is provided that includes a piece of furniture having at least a backrest and a seat. A chair workout machine is provided coupled to the piece of furniture. The chair workout machine includes a support frame coupled to at least one structure of the piece of furniture. At least one rotatable arm is rotatably attached to the support frame. One or more resistance elements are coupled to the at least one rotatable arm, where the resistance elements arranged to provide resistance to movement by at least one body part of a user.
Golf Training Assembly
A golf training assembly for training a golf swing includes a hat that is worn on a user's head. A first light emitter is embedded in the brim to emit a beam of light downwardly onto a golf ball when the user is preparing to swing a golf club. In this way the user's head may be retained in a preferred posture for swinging the golf club. A second light emitter is embedded in the brim to emit a beam of light downwardly in front of the golf ball when the user is preparing to swing a golf club. Thus, the second light emitter provides a visual reference for aiming.
PRACTICE SUPPORT APPARATUS, PRACTICE SUPPORT METHOD, AND PRACTICE SUPPORT PROGRAM
A practice support apparatus comprises an acquisition unit that acquires log data and evaluation data indicating an evaluation of the log data regarding exercise of a user from a sensor worn by the user, a record controller that records the log data and the evaluation data over time for each user, a model creation unit that creates model information on an exercise pattern for each user on the basis of the log data and the evaluation data; and a suggestion unit that suggests practice menu information for the user on the basis of the created model information.
