SOLID DRUG TABLETS FOR IMPLANTABLE DRUG DELIVERY DEVICES
A drug dosage form is provided in the form of a solid tablet which is greater than 50% by weight the local anesthetic agent. The local anesthetic agent may be selected from the group consisting of an aminoamide, an aminoester, and a combination thereof. The drug tablet may be in the form of a mini-tablet which is greater than 70 wt % drug, with the balance being excipient. For example, the anesethetic agent may include lidocaine, in a salt or base form, combined with binder and lubricant excipients. Implantable drug delivery devices including the tablets are also provided, e.g., one or more of the drug tablets may be contained in a biocompatible housing. The drug tablets may be substantially cylindrical with flat end faces, and the device may have from 10 to 100 drug tablets aligned in the housing with the flat end faces of adjacent tablets abutting one another.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING AND PACKAGING CANNABIS AND THE LIKE
Systems and methods for treating and packaging cannabis and cannabis-like materials, including systems and methods for sanitizing raw cannabis, and systems and methods for packaging cannabis products in receptacles for sale to and/or use by end users of the products. The systems include treatment systems for treating cannabis by utilizing a rotating conveyor and exposing cannabis on the conveyor to ultraviolet radiation. The systems further include packaging systems for filling receptacles with cannabis utilizing a feed funnel that has a tapering interior that slopes toward a funnel exit port, and an auger or a feed tool at the funnel exit port and extending into the receptacle to deliver a desired dose of the cannabis from the feed funnel.
APPARATUS TO FILL AND PACKAGE CAPSULES IN BOTTLES
An apparatus to fill and package capsules in bottles is provided with a dosing line having a dosing unit to feed at least one pharmaceutical or nutraceutical product into the capsules, a pocket conveyor to move the capsules through the dosing unit, and an output station to release the capsules containing the pharmaceutical or nutraceutical product from the pocket conveyor, and a packaging line having a conveyor device to move, in succession, the bottles through a packaging station connected to the output station so as to receive each capsule released by the pocket conveyor and feed it into a respective bottle.
