A machine is for the preparation of medical product. The machine includes a worktop for receiving containers. The worktop includes a series of holes for the introduction into each of them of an injection point belonging to a medical container to be filled. The holes give access to an interior of the machine, so that the injection points of the medical containers remain inside for their filling by the machine. The machine includes a removable device for loading medical containers into the machine. The removable device includes housings for the medical containers and detachable fasteners to the worktop of the machine.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR MONITORING A FILLING AND/OR CLOSING INSTALLATION AND/OR POST-PROCESSING INSTALLATION
The invention relates to a method and a device for monitoring a filling and/or closing installation and/or a post-processing installation, in particular for the pharmaceutical industry, wherein an image of a transport, infeed and/or outfeed region (2, 3, 6) of the filling and/or closing and/or post-processing installation is taken using a camera system (10) and, wherein on the basis of the image, by use of an artificial intelligence model (AI model) (120) that is trained to detect primary packaging means in the transport, infeed and/or outfeed region (2, 3, 6) and to classify detected primary packaging means, it is determined in which image positions primary packaging means are present, and detected primary packaging means are assigned to a class. The invention further relates to a filling and/or closing installation and/or post-processing installation and to a computer program for monitoring a filling and/or closing installation and/or post-processing installation.
HOLDING DEVICE FOR A CONTAINER, AND APPARATUS FOR THE PROCESSING OF CONTAINERS
Containers, such as pharmaceutical containers, are held in an apparatus for processing containers by a holding device. The holding device has a main body and a container receptacle with at least one abutment element for the container. The containers have a direction of extent extending in a receptacle direction of the container receptacle. The container is positionable against the abutment element to assume a defined position. A holding element can hold the container in the container receptacle. The holding element is movably mounted on the main body between a release position, in which the container is insertable into the container receptacle in an insertion direction oriented transversely to the receptacle direction, to a holding position, in which the holding element engages behind the container and acts upon the container with a holding force oriented in the direction of the container receptacle to hold the container with clamping action.
MEASUREMENT METHOD, MEASUREMENT DEVICE, AND PROGRAM
The present invention provides a measurement method, a measurement device, and a program capable of non-destructively measuring a volume of an aqueous solution of a drug in each needle-like recess of a mold with high accuracy. A measurement method according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a measurement wave intensity acquisition step of acquiring, for each needle-like recess, an intensity of a measurement wave transmitted through a drug in a needle-like recess, absorbed by the drug by an amount according to a distance by which the measurement wave is transmitted through the drug, and emitted from the drug; and a volume acquisition step of acquiring a volume for each needle-like recess on the basis of the intensity of the measurement wave for each needle-like recess acquired in the measurement wave intensity acquisition step.
Method for establishing the presence of specified characteristics of a container product and device for performing said method
A method establishes the presence of specified characteristics of a container product (9, 11), more particularly of a plastic material. The value of at least one specified characteristic is automatically recorded and compared with the reference value for that characteristic in at least one testing station (1-7) of a testing device.
METHOD OF REDUCING IMMUNOGENICITY OF DRUG PRODUCTS
The present invention is directed to methods for reducing immunogenicity of a drug product, utilizing filling a container wherein the filled container has no headspace. The present invention is further directed to methods for stabilizing an aqueous drug substance solution by filling a container with the aqueous drug substance solution wherein the filled container has no headspace. The present invention is further directed to formulations of drug substances with reduced immunogenicity.
PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR THE TREATMENT OR PROCESSING OF CONTAINERS FOR SUBSTANCES FOR MEDICAL, PHARMACEUTICAL OR COSMETIC APPLICATIONS
Disclosed is a process for the treatment or processing of containers that serve for storing, or contain, substances for medical, pharmaceutical or cosmetic applications, wherein the containers are conveyed automatically, by a conveyor, past at least one processing station or pass it for the treatment or processing. In the process, a plurality of containers is conveyed by the conveyor while being held by a carrier in a regular arrangement. The containers held on the carrier are raised to a raised position for the treatment or processing at or in the respective processing station and are lowered after the treatment or processing, to be held again on the carrier in the regular arrangement. The carrier is configured such that the containers can be held on the carrier during the entire process. A negative pressure acts on the bottoms of the containers in order to lower them.
Wearable Automatic Injection Device and Related Methods of Use
Exemplary embodiments provide wearable automatic injection devices for providing an injection of a therapeutic agent into a patient. The wearable automatic injection device includes a housing having a patient contact portion securable to the patient, an injection needle for insertion into the patient, and a prefilled syringe assembly for holding the therapeutic agent. The prefilled syringe assembly includes a distal stopper and a proximal stopper penetrated by a penetrating needle. The penetrating needle is in fluid communication with the patient injection needle.
