An apparatus includes a non-transitory computer-readable medium to direct a processor to: receive signals indicating a made basketball shot or a missed basketball shot of a basketball by a person during a basketball shooting session, receive signals indicating a location from which each made basketball shot is made, and determine and output a user cumulative score for the person for the basketball shooting session, the cumulative score being based upon the location of each made basketball shot.

A ball toss and retrieval toy provides for entertainment and exercise by children. The toy takes the form of a bat and has an open end for tossing the ball from the toy. The toy also has a cord and reel mechanism that attaches the ball to the bat, allowing for retrieval of the ball from a fixed position. The reel mechanism includes a release mechanism that allows the cord to play out as the toy is operated in a toss operation similar to a fishing casting operation. The ball can then be reeled in by the reel mechanism, which may include a mechanical crank or may be motorized.

[Solution]

The wave making apparatus comprises: a water carrying bucket 110 opened at the front, including a bottom plate and a side surface plate, and capable of holding water in a portion of an inner space thereof; a supporting structure 120 that supports the water carrying bucket 110; and a transmission apparatus 130 that moves the water carrying bucket 110 forward at a predetermined speed. The water carrying bucket 100 supported by submerging the water carrying bucket 110 under waterline of the pool such that the front of the water carrying bucket 110 faces the play area of the pool. The transmission apparatus 130 moves the water carrying bucket 110 forward along a track extending forward the play area with the water carrying bucket 100 kept below the waterline. The water held in the water carrying bucket 100 is carried forward and launched, and thereby an isolation traveling wave suitable for surfing is formed.

A trampoline comprising a trampoline mat defining a jumping area and supported via springs from a circumextending support structure, the support structure including a plurality of legs so that the trampoline mat is positioned at a height above ground or flooring; the trampoline being provided with a safety enclosure surrounding the jumping area. The safety enclosure comprises a net supported by a plurality of telescopically extendable poles, each pole when extended comprising a plurality of sections, each successive extended section with distance above the trampoline mat having a cross-section less than that that of the next less extended section whereby the sections nest when telescopically collapsed. A climbing wall may be constructed using a variety of techniques and components. The climbing wall may be comprised of a number of dihedral angles. A basketball system is disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the system includes a rotatable hoop assembly with a hoop and backboard mounted to a support and rotatable around a vertical axis of rotation to change an angle of the hoop and the backboard relative to a particular geo-position. The system may include a programmable display device that presents a display on a surface based at least in part on the angle of the hoop and the backboard and control logic that sends commands to change the angle of the hoop and backboard relative to the particular geo-position.
