Pet exercise and entertainment device
Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems, apparatuses, and methods for exercising and entertaining a pet. In one implementation, a pet exercise and entertainment device includes a launch funnel for launching projectiles for a pet to retrieve. The launch funnel has a feeder and a chute. The feeder is configured to receive a projectile and transport the projectile to an intake end of the chute. A sensor is configured to sense the projectile in the intake end of the chute and to command one or more motors to power up in response to sensing the projectile. An actuator is configured to release the projectile from the intake end of the chute into the launch end of the chute after a pre-determined time has elapsed. One or more wheels, rotated by the one or more motors, are configured to launch the projectile from the launch end of the chute.
ROPE ATTACHED TO A BALL AND METHOD OF ATTACHING SAME
Provided is an article having a ball-like element with an opening and a rope-like element having a first end and a distal end. An attachment device is affixed to the first end of the rope-like element for connecting to the ball-like element. The attachment device includes a first point, received into the opening of the ball-like element and a second point generally opposite to the first point on the attachment device. The second point has a cross-sectional area larger than the first point. A flange includes a back surface and a neck generally in contact with the second point. The neck has a cross-sectional area smaller than the second point and the back surface, wherein, upon connection with the ball-like element, an underside of the back surface of the flange contacts the ball-like element.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ROPE TO MOLDED PART
Provided is a manufacturing method for inserting an attachment device into a rotationally-molded product. An attachment device is provided having a first point, a second point having a cross-sectional area larger than the first point, and a flange including a back surface and a neck having a cross-sectional area smaller than the second point and the back surface. An end of a rope element is affixed to the attachment device. A ball-like element is molded. The attachment device is inserted into an opening in the ball-like element while the ball-like element is between 150 degrees Fahrenheit to 300 degrees Fahrenheit.
Systems and methods for a light-up object with enhanced features for animals
A light-up object includes a rubberized outer body; a plug in a cavity of the outer body; and a lighting device located in the plug. The light-up object further includes a first inner capsule piece, the first inner capsule piece located in the plug, and a second inner capsule piece located in the cavity of the outer body, the second inner capsule piece shaped to engage with the first inner capsule piece. The first and second inner capsules are threaded to fit together. The outer body includes grooves, running around multiple circumferences of the outer body. The outer body has a size of approximately a baseball; the outer body is shaped approximately like a sphere; and the grooves are at least 5 mm deep in the outer body.

A wearable device, a control method for the same and a control system are provided. The wearable device is coupled to a terminal device for generating a virtual scene and includes: a device body, a controller and a resistance adjusting mechanism. The controller is coupled to the resistance adjusting mechanism and configured to generate a control signal based on environmental information in the virtual scene generated by the terminal device. The resistance adjusting mechanism is configured to adjust a resistance parameter of the device body in a working state according to the control signal.
PET FETCHING DEVICE
Implementations described and claimed herein provide systems and methods for interactive fetching for one or more participants, such as pets. In one implementation, a projectile, such as a ball, is received in a receiver and transported through an opening into a feeder of a randomizer. One of a plurality of chutes is randomly selected using gravity, and the projectile is transported from the feeder into the selected chute. The chute generates a smooth roll along a ramp to a port, from which the projectile is ejected along an ejection path for the participant to retrieve.
Interactive cognitive-multisensory interface apparatus and methods for assessing, profiling, training, and/or improving performance of athletes and other populations
A cognitive/multisensory stimulation system simulates sports scenarios during real sports actions for assessing, profiling, training, or improving performance of athletes or other populations. Cognitive/multisensory training can be provided by: establishing with an athlete a sensory semantic language for relating a number of sensory signals to corresponding possible actions, the sensory semantic language being essentially new to the athlete; instructing the athlete to perform an athletic exercise involving skills and full body movement; providing during exercise sensory signals to the athlete to require rapid discernment by the athlete of the semantic meaning of the sensory signal to correctly chose one possible action; and determining whether the athlete correctly responds to the selected sensory signal during said exercise.
SAFE LAUNCHER-PROJECTILE ASSEMBLY FOR PETS
This disclosure describes a launcher and a projectile for fetch games with pets. The launcher, in certain implementations, may be used to pick up and launch the projectile that has a core to engage with a head of the launcher. Same size cores may be used in projectiles of different sizes, appearances, shapes, and materials (for different pets) such that a common launcher can be used.
Ball throwing system
A throwing system for throwing and catching a ball of a first diameter. A scoop is provided that has a basket and a handle. The basket has a first end, a second end, a bottom surface and an open top, wherein the handle extends from the second end of the basket. A loading hole is disposed through the bottom surface of the basket. A flap or other obstruction is provided that at least partially obstructs the loading hole. The obstruction prevents the ball from passing through the loading hole in one direction. The ball is loaded into the scoop by simply pressing the scoop over the ball so that the ball passes through the loading hole and into the basket. Once in the basket, the ball can be thrown from the scoop in a traditional manner.
