Convenience kits for aseptic sterilizing and dispensing
A convenience kit for sterilizing and delivering liquids into the safety of a sterile environment inside a plastic bag (which can be disposed in a field environment) wherein a so sterilized liquid is dispensed into a vessel which is capped and sealed before removal from the bag. The convenience kit can be provided in a solitary format or, as a subkit combined with other associated items in a more inclusive convenience kit. In short, convenience kits made according to the present invention provide opportunity for accomplishing an aseptic liquid sterilizing transfer, a task which is commonly associated with on-hand capability of a laminar flow hood, in field environments and other areas which are remote from facilities having laminar flow hoods.
INSULATION PACKAGING SYSTEM
The present disclosure is directed to an insulation packaging system. The insulation packaging system includes a plurality of insulation packages with first ends and second ends. The plurality of insulation packages defining an axis. A first film wraps around the axis to compress and couple the plurality of insulation packages together, while a second film wraps around the first and second ends of the plurality of insulation packages. The first and second films are different films.
MULTIPURPOSE CASHBAG LEVEL AND BANKNOTE PRESENCE IN ESCROW DETECTOR
This disclosure relates to a cashbag sealing system. The system comprises a banknote transport mechanism operable to transport a banknote to a storing unit. The storing unit includes a banknote storing bag detachably coupled to the storing unit, and an escrow plate operable to escrow the banknote before the banknote transported to the storing unit is stored in the banknote storing bag, wherein the escrow plate is operable to move from a horizontally extending hold position to a downwardly or obliquely downwardly extending release position, and wherein the banknote transported to the storing unit is escrowed on the escrow plate when the escrow plate is located at the hold position. The system further comprises a sensor configured to detect a presence of the banknote on the escrow plate, and measure a level of banknotes in the banknote storing bag.
Mail handling automation and monitoring systems
Automated (e.g., robotic) mail tagging, traying, sleeving, and palletizing devices are disclosed. A monitoring system is also disclosed. In embodiments, the monitoring system is configured to operate with (e.g., monitor and/or control) one or more of the automated devices disclosed herein to facilitate actual physical mail matches the digital files provided to the USPS for postage discounts received on same mail. By comparing the digital information regarding the mail item identifier, the tray identifier, and the pallet identifier with the stored physical information received from the one or more scanners; and identifying whether or not any discrepancies exist between the digital information regarding the mail item identifier, the tray identifier, and the pallet identifier and the stored physical information received from the one or more scanners users can ensure actual physical mail matches the digital files submitted to USPS for postage discounts of same mail.
Pill sorter with bag sealer
A pill sorter with bag sealer designed for the dispensation and storage of easily transportable packages of medication. The pill sorter has one or more independent chambers that can store pills or other medication. The pill sorter dispenses medication through a funneled lid, allowing the user to dispense a single chamber's medication into a plastic bag. The plastic bag is placed into a bag sealer having an activation button, light-emitting diode (LED), battery, microprocessor, and sealing element. The activation time of the sealing element is adjusted by the microprocessor based upon the measured level of charge present in the battery, providing a one-touch sealing solution to the user. The sealing element seals the plastic bag, which has a perforated seal, allowing for easy opening of the plastic bag when the medication is needed.
PLURAL-MODE AUTOMATIC MEDICAMENT PACKAGING SYSTEM
A plural-mode automatic medicament packaging system. In embodiments, the system may include an automatic dispensing machine including an automatic medicament dispensing unit and may further include pouch packaging and blister package packaging units. The medicament dispensing unit may include one or more storage and dispensing units which store and dispense medicaments. Medicaments output from the medicament dispensing unit may be packaged in a pouch package by the pouch packaging unit. Alternatively, a diverter may direct medicaments output from the medicament dispensing unit to the pouch package packaging unit for packaging in a blister package. A single automatic medicament packaging system can package medicaments in different types of packaging providing a pharmacy with the opportunity to package medicaments in the form of packaging most appropriate to meet patient needs.
Production and packaging installation for hygiene products, and method for operating the same
A method for operating a production and packaging installation for hygiene products, wherein the hygiene products are produced by a production machine, and the hygiene products produced are packaged by at least two packaging machines which are assigned to the production machine and are intended for packaging the hygiene products in particular so that they are ready for dispatch. At least two packaging machines assigned to a grouping conveyor form a machine group, wherein the performance of the packaging machines of the machine group are adapted automatically in accordance with the performance of the production machine and/or the individual performances available for the packaging machines of the machine group, and/or wherein the number of hygiene products with which the holders of the grouping conveyor are filled is selected automatically for each holder in dependence on which of the packaging machines the hygiene product of the respective holder is intended.
WOOD BUNDLING AND BAGGING SYSTEM
A system and method for bundling wood includes a bin portion collecting logs that drop off a conveyor platform in a transverse orientation relative to a direction of travel. A first sensor detects each log as it drops, forming a stack, and a control module maintains a running count of the logs in the stack. A hatch automatically opens and simultaneously drops a stack of logs therethrough based on the running count, e.g., based on the running count equaling a preselected number. A second sensor above the bin portion measures a distance from the second sensor to the stack. The hatch automatically opens to drop the stack therethrough to a lower bin in response to the running count reaching the preselected number of logs and/or the distance reaching a predetermined distance. A third sensor positioned adjacent a lower hatch in the lower bin automatically closes the hatch when blocked by the stack.
BANKNOTE PROCESSING
Banknote processing equipment is disclosed, which comprises a chamber having an open end for insertion of a bag into the chamber and an extractor adapted to establish a lower ambient pressure between the chamber and the hag to that within the bag to cause the bag to expand into an open configuration during a banknote filling operation, whereby the banknote processing equipment can deposit banknotes in the bag.
Adjustable Wicket Bagging Machine
A machine and method are provided for accommodating use of different size wicketed bags in the machine through adjustments of various machine systems. The adjustments may be primarily toolless, without requiring disassembly, reconfiguration, and/or reassembly of the machine's subsystems. An intake system may include an adjustable chute with an upper chute segment and a lower chute segment, which may be adjusted independently of each other. An adjustable funnel may define the upper chute segment and provide funnel walls with variable angles of inclination to direct items toward the lower chute segment. An adjustable chute may define the lower chute segment and provide chute walls that are separated with a variable spacing. An adjustable bag opening system may include retainer assemblies and opener assemblies that are adjustably positioned with respect to each other to change their bag-engagement positions to correspond to different sized bags and their respective opening configurations.
