METHOD FOR PRODUCING A PACKAGING FROM A RECYCLABLE MATERIAL
The invention relates to a method for producing a packaging (200) for enclosing a substance (500). A flat sheet (100) made of recyclable paper material and having two opposite side edge sections (101, 102) is provided and formed into a tube (120) by folding the flat sheet (100) so that the two side edge sections (101, 102) overlap each other at an overlapping section (123). The tube (120) is heat sealed along the overlapping section (123) to form a longitudinal sealing joint (130) and heat sealed across the longitudinal sealing joint (130) to close the tube (120) with a first traverse sealing joint (141) at a first tube end (121). The tube (120) is filled with a substance (500) and heat sealed across the longitudinal sealing joint (130) to close the tube (120) with a second traverse sealing joint (142) at a second tube end (122). A first and second amount of glue (300-302) is applied on-FIG. 3 to the flat sheet (100) at a first and a second triple point section (151, 152) where the longitudinal sealing joint (130) and the respective traverse sealing joints (141, 142) intersect, respectively. The glue (300-302) seals the respective triple point section (151, 152) upon heat sealing of the respective tube end (121, 122) to form the respective traverse sealing joint (141, 142). The invention also relates to a packaging (200) enclosing a substance (500) and a machine (600) for producing the packaging (200).

IMPULSE HEAT SEALING OF A HEAT-SEALABLE FILM MATERIAL
A sealing station configured to heat seal a wall made from heat-sealable film material, preferably metal-free heat-sealable film material, onto one another wall of heat-sealable material, e.g. another wall of heat-sealable film material, to create a sealed seam. The sealing station comprises an impulse sealing device comprising a first jaw and a second jaw, wherein at least the first jaw comprises at the respective front surface thereof at least one, e.g. a single elongated, impulse heatable member that extends along the respective front surface and that is covered by a heat-resistant non-stick covering.
AUTOMATED HANDLING AND MANIPULATION OF PACKAGES AND PACKAGES SPECIALLY ADAPTED THEREFOR
Systems, methods, and apparatuses for handling and manipulating packages in automated or semi-automated fashion and packages adapted for the same. The systems may include package-holding devices, package-manipulating devices, and package-detection components for locating packages or portions thereof in a three-dimensional space. The packages may include features that enable automated or semi-automated handling and manipulation thereof, such as different types of opening/closing mechanisms with different geometric structures that allow for holding, shifting, and manipulating the packages and/or portions thereof with the package-manipulating devices. The packages additionally or alternatively may include mechanical fasteners, magnets, and/or spring-biased opening/closing mechanisms for keeping the packages closed prior to manipulation thereof. Such packages and systems may be used in a logistics network to the increase speed, accuracy, and efficiency of processing packages having, at least in part, a non-fixed geometry.
PHARMACY ORDER FILLING SYSTEM AND RELATED METHODS
Drug packets may be dispensed as a belt of drug packets. Machine-readable identifiers in the belt may be automatically read to identify drug packets and associate the drug packets with the received orders. The drug packets may be automatically inspected to confirm contents of the drug packets against the received orders. The belt may be automatically separated into segments of drug packets. Each of the segments may correspond to a supply period and each of the drug packets within each of the segments may correspond to a drug dose event for the multi-drug regimen within the supply period. The segments of the belt may be automatically accumulated into belt rolls such that, for each of the belt rolls, a first segment end is on an interior of the belt roll and a second segment end is on an exterior of the belt roll.
Packaging system
A packaging system includes a bag feeding device for forming a packaging bag series having a continuous bag portion partitioned by a side seal portion from a long film and a bag mouth opening/closing device having a conveying path formed between a conveying device for pulling and conveying the packaging bag series with first grips and a guide rail parallel to the conveying path. The movers traveling on the guide rail has second grips for gripping the side seal portion. By controlling and adjusting the distance between one mover and the mover immediately after that, an upper end opening of the bag portion is opened or closed according to various processes of the packaging process.
