A glove has a palm side and a back side joined at a side edge to form a glove body. The palm side and the back side are constructed from a stretch material. Panels attach to the stretch material on the palm side to form finger parts, palm parts and a back part. The panels are separated from each other by the stretch material to allow relative movement. Elastic bands attached to the panels on the back side adjust the fit. A thumb part has a gusset of the stretch material. Grip surfaces have an embossed texture with indentations.
GOLF CLUB HEAD HAVING MULTI-MATERIAL FACE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A golf club with a multi-material face is disclosed herein. More specifically, the golf club head in accordance with the present invention has a multi-material striking face portion that is made out of a backing layer having a frontal pocket, made out of titanium, and an insert, made out of a composite material, adapted to be inserted into the frontal pocket. The frontal pocket and the insert could have complementary dovetail shaped undercut features to create a mechanical bond between these two components.
Wrist and elbow stabilizer for sports training
A golf training aid is described that stabilizes a wrist and an elbow of a golfer during a golf swing. The golf training aid includes a flexible sleeve and an elongated rigid insert. The flexible sleeve is configured to receive the wrist and the elbow of the golfer. The elongated rigid insert is secured to the flexible sleeve. The flexible sleeve keeps the rigid insert in contact with the wrist and the elbow of the golfer so as to prevent pivoting of the wrist and pivoting of the elbow.
NECK EXERCISE DEVICE AND SYSTEM
A neck exercise device and system are disclosed. An implementation of the device can include a head harness having an adjustable headband and a first cranial strap having each end attached to the headband. The device can further include a plurality of attachment members.
Resistance exercise apparatus enabling concurrent multiple workout movements
A resistance exercise apparatus enabling multiple concurrent workout/exercise movements includes a pair of handles adapted to be gripped by the hands of a user, a pair of first couplers connected to the pair of handles, a second coupler, a pair of ankle bands being adjustable to grip lower legs of the user above the ankles, and a plurality of elastic cords made of flexible and stretchable material. Selected ones of the plurality of elastic cords connect to and extend between the pair of first couplers and the second coupler and also connect to and extend between the second coupler and the pair of ankle bands.
SOFTBALL PITCHING THIGH PAD
A pad protecting a pitcher's thigh has a tube containing a flexible pad around a front of the tube but not between the pitcher's legs and at least a portion of the back of the tube. A belt encircles the pitcher's waist and a padded top portion and connecting strip connect to the belt and extend laterally from the pitcher's navel to just past the pitcher's hip and extends downward to connect to the front of the tube. The padding covers a strike area where the pitcher's glove arm and glove hit the pitcher's hip and thigh when throwing a fast pitch softball.
TENNIS SERVE TOSS AID
A tennis serve toss aid comprising: 1) a ring member to be placed on a finger of the non-racket holding hand of a tennis player, 2) a bowl member that holds the tennis ball, and 3) a connector member that allows the bowl member to be attached to the ring member in a variety of orientations, The tennis serve toss training aid trains the tennis player to control the tennis ball without use of the fingers to release the ball, supinate the palm, lock the wrist and elbow, and use the tossing arm as a simple lever which moves from a down position to an up position. As the arm moves to an up position the ball is released from the bowl member due to inertia. This allows the tennis player to be able to repeatedly toss the tennis ball to substantially the same position in the air where it can be struck consistently with the tennis racket to deliver the serve.
RACQUET HAVING AN IMPROVED HANDLE ASSEMBLY
A racquet including a tubular frame formed of a fiber composite material, a pallet and a butt cap. The frame includes first and second end regions and a mid-region. The handle portion includes a distal region, proximal region and a central region positioned between the distal and proximal regions of the handle portion. The central and proximal regions of the handle portion have outer surfaces that define first and second transverse cross-sectional areas, respectively. The second transverse cross-sectional area is larger than the first transverse cross-sectional area. The pallet is coupled to and longitudinally extends over the central region but not over the proximal region of the handle portion. The butt cap is secured to the proximal region and includes a peripheral wall and less than half of the length of the peripheral wall extends over the pallet.
