STATIONARY RECUMBENT BIKE THAT ARTICULATES
A stationary recumbent bike that can vary in both longitudinal and lateral angular displacement to simulate upward, downward, turning and leaning motions is disclosed. The disclosed recumbent bike comprises a seating section with a longitudinal axis frame, a pair of cycling pedals, a first actuator that provides longitudinal angular displacement for the seating section, a second actuator that provides lateral angular displacement for the seating section through a lateral axis frame, a processor that controls and synchronizes the first actuator and the second actuator based on simulated routes programmed and a power supply for supplying power to the first actuator, the second actuator and the processor.
Portable hand cycle
The portable hand cycle is a user-stabilized device for upper body exercise. The portable hand cycle is held in place using the weight of a user, holding a platform against the seat of a chair, couch, or other surface. In a sitting position, a riser connected to the seat extends up and away from the user. The riser is optionally of an adjustable length in order to fit users of different sizes. The riser ends with a sleeve that encloses an axle, the center of which is placed at chest-level with respect to the user. The crank is connected to a pair of crank-arms that in turn terminate with grips. To operate, the user extends her arms and holds the grips in her hands. Her rotation of her hands moves the grips, which in turn rotates the crank-arms, finally rotating the axle.
Armchair For Physical Therapy with IoT Functionality
There is provided an IoT therapy armchair, in unitary form, with a chassis having a back section, a pair of side sections connected to the back section with an armrest on a top surface of each side section with the back section and pair of sides defining a seating area. A front leg support section extends downward from and below the seating area and connects each of the side sections. A plurality of pressure hangers fastened to the chassis, each of which are capable of receiving an exercise accessory, each connected to a respective pressure transducer, that measures an amount of pressure applied to each of the plurality of pressure hangers. The amount of pressure applied and health sensors are communicated as an output signal to a computing device that create statistics, reports of health conditions, early warnings, alarms, and communicates online and provides interactive therapy guidance to users.
ARM CHAIR EXERCISE APPARATUS
A chair arm exercise apparatus includes three distinct back positions with hand resistance members such as springs supported from a pair of supports spaced from the upper end of the back. The arm chair includes a base configured to rest on a horizontal floor surface, a seat, a pair of spaced apart trapezoidal shaped upright frame sides, a front upright end wall beneath and supporting a front end of the seat, a seat back pivotally supported from the frame sides behind the seat, and a seat cross member beneath the rear edge of the seat fastened to the frame sides. In a first position the back is at about 90 degrees to the seat. In a second position the back is about 80 degrees to the seat. In the third position the back is reclined.
Convertible furniture
Various embodiments of convertible furniture are disclosed. The convertible furniture can have one or more benches with one or more platforms. The convertible furniture can have a work mode and an exercise mode. In the work mode, the convertible furniture can be configured to function as a workstation and/or work cubicle for an office worker, or furniture items in a home or office. In the exercise mode, the convertible furniture can be converted to a substantially flat work-out surface formed by surfaces of the benches and platforms. The workout surface can be configured for exercising, such as stretching, yoga, Pilates, and/or otherwise. In some embodiments, the work-out surface is adapted to receive, support, and configure a variety of exercise equipment attachment assemblies and related exercise related items.
Easy chair exerciser
An exercise device is disclosed herein. The exercise device includes a platform, a track unit, a first leg holder, a second leg holder and a bracket. Further the exercise device includes a first resistance band and a second resistance band. The exercise device can be moved from any recliner or ottoman with ease to assist users in strengthening the legs and upper body whilst sitting.
EXERCISE WORKSTATION, COMPONENTS, AND METHODS
An exercise workstation includes a treadmill, a pedal exercise device disposed on or next to the treadmill, and a chair pivotally secured to the exercise workstation. The chair can be repositioned relative to the treadmill, such as above or to the side of the treadmill. A pivot arm is pivotally connected to a pivot joint to permit multiple positional adjustments of the chair. The pivot joint may be connected to the treadmill in fixed or movable position. The exercise workstation may include or be positioned adjacent to one or more work surfaces, such as a height adjustable desk or table.
PIVOTING LOWER LIMB THERAPY DEVICE
A pivoting lower limb therapy device formed from a lever frame having a handle portion integral with its proximal end and a first orthotic portion adjacent to its distal end, a base frame having a second orthotic portion integral with its proximal frame end and a surface support portion integral with its distal frame end, with the lever frame rotatably attached to the base frame so as to permit the first orthotic portion to move across two dimensions relative to the second orthotic portion in response to an exertion of mechanical force on the handle portion. The pivoting lower limb therapy device may also include a strap assembly connected to and extending between the proximal end of the lever frame and the proximal frame end of the base frame so as to exert mechanical force on the two frame members.
ADJUSTABLE SHOULDER EXERCISE DEVICE
An adjustable shoulder exercise device which includes a frame base, a pair of frame columns having a vertical portion and a horizontal portion, at least one cross frame which extents orthogonally relative to the vertical portion of the frame columns and either pulley assemblies or a resistance band set. The adjustable shoulder exercise device allows total control of all active and passive motions of the shoulder, in multiple planes and using multiple kinetic chains of motion. The adjustable shoulder exercise device described herein acts as a three dimensional grid system employing the use of multiple pulley assemblies or resistance bands that can be positioned in a multitude of heights and lateral positions to allow movements to be performed from all angles relative to the human shoulder.
Continuous Loop Exercise Apparatus and Method
A versatile, multi-purpose and portable continuous loop exercise apparatus designed so as to enable users thereof to exercise multiple body parts through resistive training. The unique continuously looped structure enables users to perform various exercises. The continuous loop exercise apparatus may be utilized in combination with the floor, on the chair, or can be placed on a table or countertop without the requirement to reconfigure or reassemble the product. The one-piece curved design allows users with different body builds to perform the same exercises appropriately by changing the holding user-to-apparatus contact positions rather than by adjusting the dimensions of the equipment.
