IMPROVEMENTS IN AND RELATING TO PACKAGING
A produce packing device comprising: a robot positioning apparatus with an end effector, wherein the robot positioning apparatus provides at least three degrees of freedom to move the end effector in three axial (x, y and z) directions or combination of at least two of these directions with respect to items of produce to be packaged, wherein the end effector is adapted in use for individually picking up an item of produce; a sensor to determine a size of each item of produce in a plurality of items of produce presented to the robot positioning apparatus and end effector; and a controller configured to receive one or more outputs from the sensor and: determine a selection of items of produce to be picked from the plurality of items of produce based on the one or more outputs from the sensor to achieve an acceptable stack height of items of produce within a package; and cause the robot positioning apparatus and end effector to move and pick up the selection of items of produce and place within said package.
Pouch for a Food Product
A tetrahedral-shaped pouch can be opened by tearing from a cut in a first lateral sealing edge and along a longitudinal sealing substantially perpendicular to the first lateral sealing edge to conveniently access non-liquid food contents, such as seeds or nuts. A short longitudinal cut can be made into but not all the way through the first lateral sealing edge, adjacent where the longitudinal sealing is positioned on the first lateral sealing edge. When opening the pouch, by initiating a tear starting at the cut, the packaging material will tear along, but not cross the longitudinal sealing, since the longitudinal sealing is formed from an overlapped and doubly thick section of packaging material. The pouch will therefore open, on at least one side of the tetrahedron, along a predictable tear line following the longitudinal sealing, to form a bowl-shaped receptacle from which the contained food product can be conveniently accessed.
Fillable vaporizer cartridge and method of filling
Vaporizer device cartridges are provided. In some implementations, a cartridge comprises a storage compartment having first and second opposing ends, a sealing material sealing the second end, and a wick positioned proximate to the first end. The storage compartment is configured to hold a liquid vaporizable material. The sealing material is configured for insertion of a needle through the sealing material for dispensing the liquid vaporizable material into the storage compartment. The wick comprises opposing ends in communication with the storage compartment and is configured to allow a volume of air to exit the storage compartment through the wick when the storage compartment is being filled with the liquid vaporizable material.
Electric pressure canner with digital control
A digital pressure canner and related methods of operation that provide for improved safety and consistency during a food canning process by reducing temperature over and undershoot. The digital pressure canner includes a digital control operating with inputs from digital sensors to accurately control the canning temperature during the canning process. By reducing over and undershoot of canning temperatures, foods within the pressure canner are maintained at temperatures sufficient to kill any bacteria or microorganisms for the entire canning cycle. In order to verify operation of the digital canner at sufficient canning temperatures, mechanical safety devices, for example, a pressure relief valve can be utilized in conjunction with digital controllers and sensors to provide audible and visual feedback to a user during the canning process.
Method and system for displaying, marketing and mail delivery of delicate flowers as sustainable indoors fragrance diffuser.
A method and system for delicate blooming flowers and fruits marketing them as home fragrance and home dcor product. Including natural grown flower(s) and/or fruit(s) infused with liquids with moisturizing, scent enhancing, preserving and nourishing abilities. Placing aforementioned flower(s) and or fruit(s) in a uniquely shaped transparent display container with the base of each flower and fruit infused and casted until a predetermined level in a rigid or semi rigid gel or resin with nourishing and containing abilities and closing the display container with a cover. The comprise of the display container, resin or gel, infused flower(s) or fruit(s), cover and optional insert device are then shipped either directly to retailers for sale or e-commerce sale and mail delivery.

PACKAGING CONTAINER WITH PREFORMED SEALING RING
A packaging container for holding contents such as fresh food. The container comprises a tray having a flange, a pre-formed scaling ring and a flexible film for sealing in the contents of the tray. The sealing ring is made from fiber, filament or tape (FFT) that is shaped into a shape that matches the shape of the tray flange. The sealing ring is adhered to the tray flange by heat welding or other means and the flexible film is adhered to the sealing ring.

PRODUCT HANDLING AND PACKAGING SYSTEM
Embodiments of product handling systems facilitate transfer of individual product items from incoming bulk form into dedicated trays for inspection, sorting, selection, and packaging. Inspection may comprise interrogation of product items within a tray by electromagnetic (e.g., optical, hyperspectral) or other (e.g., physical, acoustic, gas sensing, etc.) techniques. Prior to packaging, product items disposed within the tray may be stored in a moveable carousel responsible for controlling environmental factors such as temperature, humidity, illumination, ambient gases, product-to-product interactions, and/or others. Movement of product items from a carousel's transfer station to an outside staging position may be accomplished using robots and/or conveyor belts. Embodiments may allow rapid, low-cost consumer selection of specific individual product items based upon their accompanying metadata (e.g., source, identifier), in combination with the results of inspection (e.g., visual appearance). Embodiments may receive product items pre-packaged in tray format to expedite inspection, sorting, selection, and packaging.
