A method for producing a packaging body (51) from a web material that comprises paper, wherein the packaging body (51) comprises an indentation (53) for receiving an item to be packaged, the method comprising: pre-tensioning the web material (14); fixing the web material (14) between a holding-down device (32) and a die (31); molding the indentation (53) in the web material (14); and removing the molded indentation (53) from the die (31).

A method for packaging products, wherein packaging material web is transported in direction of an upwardly open pair of folding claws, is cut to length while forming a planar blank of the wrapper, and the blank is positioned above the folding claws, wherein the product is metered, the product portion is pre-shaped, and the blank by placing thereon the pre-shaped product portion is folded into the claws while forming the upwardly open wrapper. Thereafter, the upward-projecting lateral longitudinal peripheries of the wrapper are folded inward onto the product portion, whereupon the transverse peripheries of the wrapper which extend perpendicular thereto are folded inward onto the product portion. The lateral longitudinal peripheries and transverse peripheries of the wrapper are folded inward onto the product portion and are simultaneously connected to one another, while the wrapper provided with product portion is still situated in the pair of folding claws.

A method for packaging products, wherein packaging material web is transported in direction of an upwardly open pair of folding claws, is cut to length while forming a planar blank of the wrapper, and the blank is positioned above the folding claws, wherein the product is metered, the product portion is pre-shaped, and the blank by placing thereon the pre-shaped product portion is folded into the claws while forming the upwardly open wrapper. There is described a packaging apparatus (1) for forming a plurality of sealed packages (2) from a tube (3) of a web of packaging material (4) which is continuously filled with a pourable product. The packaging apparatus comprises a delimiting element (37) arranged, in use, within the tube (3) and being designed to divide the tube (3), in use, into a first space (38) and a second space (39). The packaging apparatus (1) also comprises a sterile gas supply device (43) for pressurizing the isolation chamber and the second space (39) by means of a respectively a first flow of sterile gas and a second flow of sterile gas.

There is described a packaging apparatus (1) for forming a plurality of sealed packages (2) from a tube (3) of a web of packaging material (4) which is continuously filled with a pourable product. The packaging apparatus comprises a delimiting element (37) arranged, in use, within the tube (3) and being designed to divide the tube (3), in use, into a first space (38) and a second space (39). The packaging apparatus (1) also comprises a sterile gas supply device (43) for pressurizing the isolation chamber and the second space (39) by means of a respectively a first flow of sterile gas and a second flow of sterile gas.

The present invention relates to a method for producing a packaging body (51) from a web material that comprises paper, wherein the packaging body (51) comprises an indentation (53) for receiving an item to be packaged, said method comprising the steps of: pre-tensioning the web material (14); fixing the web material (14) between a holding-down means (32) and a die (31); molding the indentation (53) in the web material (14); and removing the molded indentation (53) from the die (31).

A feeding unit for feeding a plastic film in packaging machines for wrapping paper rolls, including: a unit for unwinding the film from a reel; a cutting device adapted to cut the film transversely; a transfer device including, on the right and on the left side of the feeding unit, drive belts configured for engaging the upper and lower faces of the film; and a positioning device including, on the right and on the left side of the unit, a predetermined number of drive belts configured for engaging the upper and lower faces of the film. On each side of the feeding unit, the transfer device comprises two pairs of belts. On each side of the feeding unit, the positioning device comprises a third pair of belts. The three pairs of belts are actuated by independent actuators.

A cardboard dispensing apparatus for providing cardboards at a food product supply area comprises a cardboard store for storing cardboards that form a cardboard stack, a cardboard buffer storage for storing a plurality of cardboards, and a cardboard conveyor for conveying the cardboards from the cardboard buffer storage to the food product supply area. A cardboard extracting device is configured to extract cardboards from the cardboard store and move the cardboards into the cardboard buffer storage, while the cardboard conveyor is configured to remove the cardboards from the cardboard buffer storage and convey them to the food product supply area.

A cardboard dispensing apparatus for providing cardboards at a food product supply area comprises a cardboard store for storing cardboards that form a cardboard stack, a cardboard buffer storage for storing a plurality of cardboards, and a cardboard conveyor for conveying the cardboards from the cardboard buffer storage to the food product supply area. A cardboard extracting device is configured to extract cardboards from the cardboard store and move the cardboards into the cardboard buffer storage, while the cardboard conveyor is configured to remove the cardboards from the cardboard buffer storage and convey them to the food product supply area.

A package forming unit comprises plural jaw units, each having at least one respective operative assembly for engaging the tube and for at least partially forming the advancing tube, one respective sealing element for at least partially transversally sealing the tube along a transversal sealing band and a pair of interaction tabs for interacting with the tube. Each jaw unit is controllable as a function of the tube filling level in an operative configuration in which the respective operative assembly, the respective sealing element and the respective pair of interaction tabs are controlled in respective active states while advancing along respective operative portions and a partial operative configuration in which the respective sealing element is controlled in the respective active state and the respective operative assembly and/or the respective pair of interaction tabs is/are controlled in a respective inactive state while, in use, advancing along the respective operative portion.
