Working station with a lifting mechanism for a packaging machine
The invention relates to a working station, in particular to a deep-drawing station, to a molding station, to a sealing station, to a cutting station or to a punching station, for a packaging machine, comprising a rack supported on the ground; a work unit comprising an upper part and a lower part; and a lifting mechanism which is carried by the rack and by which the lower part of the work unit can be raised and lowered relative to the rack to perform a lower stroke, wherein the lifting mechanism has a drive that comprises at least one shaft extending in a transverse direction; a drive motor engaging at the shaft for rotating the shaft; and at least one gear which is coupled at an input side to the shaft, at which the lower part is supported at an output side, and which converts a rotation of the shaft into the lower stroke of the lower part.
Filling level-independent gassing
A method for operating a sealing station of a packaging machine, wherein the method may include one or more of the following steps: filling a packing volume of a package with a gas to create a desired atmosphere to a preset gassing target pressure for a finished package, wherein the packaging volume may be defined by a lower and an upper packaging material; discharging a partial amount of the gas introduced into the packaging volume from the packaging volume into a collection volume while retaining the packaging volume generated by the preceding filling, which reduces the pressure within the packaging volume; and reducing the packaging volume by moving the upper packaging material to an end position that corresponds to a desired appearance such that the pressure inside the package increases again to near the gassing target pressure. A sealing station that performs this method is also described.
Liquid capture apparatus for use with a vacuum sealer
An apparatus collects liquid in a vacuum bag for vacuum packaging a product, such as a food product, wherein a vacuum is drawn in the vacuum bag by a vacuum sealer, which also seals the vacuum bag after the vacuum is formed. The liquid collecting apparatus includes a housing configured to be placed in the vacuum bag between the product and an open end of the bag that is configured to be received in the vacuum sealer. The housing includes a side wall defining an interior space and at least one opening that extends through the side wall. The at least one opening is configured so that air drawn out of the vacuum bag can pass through the housing via the at least one opening and exit the vacuum bag through the open end, and liquid can enter the interior of the housing, but is prevented from escaping and thereby captured.
Packaged Silicone Lubricated Condom That Provides Sensation
Provided, among other things, is a packaged condom comprising: a sealed package; within the package, an polyisoprene condom; and within the package and substantially coating the condom, a lubricant comprising solvent and one or more sensation-providing agents comprising one or more of vanillyl butyl ether, menthyl lactate, and menthol, wherein the solvent comprises non-water soluble silicone oil and 99% or more of the lubricant by weight is the non-water soluble silicone oil.
IMPROVEMENTS IN OR RELATING TO CAPSULE FILLING LINES
Apparatus and methods of cleaning a sealing head (23) of a capsule filling line, comprising operating an ablation unit (10) to irradiate the sealing head (23) to ablate a residue off the sealing head (23).
CONTAINER SEALING APPARATUS AND METHOD OF SEALING
There is provided container sealing apparatuses and methods for sealing openings of containers with film. The apparatuses comprise: a pressing member configured to press a film into contact with a container; and a sealing beam source configured to emit one or more sealing beams, each of said sealing beams being incident on the container and/or the film, each of said sealing beams being incident local to a respective part of the pressing member which engages the container so as to join the film to the container; the container sealing apparatus being configured to move the container relative to the pressing member, such that a region of the container which is engaged by the pressing member changes.

SEALING MACHINE FOR THE SEALING OF PACKAGES
A sealing machine for the sealing of packages comprises a sealing chamber in which packages can be sealed. The sealing chamber comprises a working platform on which packages can be conveyed; a chamber lid movable relative to the working platform between an open position and a closed position; a sealing mechanism for the sealing of packages; and a suction unit for suction of gas from a volume enclosed by the chamber lid and the working platform. The sealing machine further comprises a protective frame kinematically connected to the chamber lid, and the protective frame has apertures through which gas can flow from the outer space into the enclosed volume.
SEALING DEVICE AND MULTIFUNCTIONAL VACUUM SEALING MACHINE APPLYING SAME
A multifunctional vacuum sealing machine which includes a shell, and a vacuumizing device and a sealing device which are arranged in the shell, wherein the sealing device includes a hot welding device; cross sealing can be performed at a connector position twice, thus forming a completely-closed sealing line; and during vacuumizing, while a bag to be vacuumized is clamped and sealed by an upper cavity and a lower cavity, the bag is punched by a cutter head in the upper cavity, the bag is vacuumized, a punching position is in a closed area surrounded by one sealing line with the adjacent first heating wires and the second heating wire or in a closed area surrounded by the first heating wires and the second heating wires, and after vacuumizing, an opening is sealed at an original position, so that it is guaranteed that air cannot enter the vacuumized bag during sealing.
