20210107010 · 2021-04-15 ·

Disclosed is a fragmentation unit including: —a frame in which there extends a region for receiving a bag, the contents of which is to be fragmented, the region being delimited by the ground and by four virtual planar vertical faces, and divided into a front area and a rear area of equal dimensions by a vertical plane, —at least two pressure plates that are able to move towards each other and vertically, each having a front edge and a vertical planar pressing face, having a rear edge, the rear edge being situated behind a plane containing the virtual planar rear face, and the front edge being tangential to a vertical plane parallel to the plane and dividing the front area of the region into two sub-areas. Also disclosed is a fragmentation method.

Bag opening system

A system and apparatus for opening and emptying a bag of material includes a base having a pair of opposed sides and a central aperture through which material may flow. The system includes a pair of opposed doors rotatably mounted on a pair of door shafts, the edges of the pair of opposed doors forming an opening and a plurality of piercing blades pivotally mounted to the base on a pivot rod, the blades capable of pivoting to pierce said bag. The system further includes a cutting blade mounted transversely below the opening of the opposed doors, the cutting blade capable of linear motion across the opening.

Liner with lifting cradle

A liner (10) includes a liner base (11) and a cradle (12) which is used in conjunction with a conventional intermediate bulk container (13). The liner base has a bottom wall (15), a top wall (16) opposite the bottom wall, and four side walls (17) extending between the bottom wall and top wall. The four side walls include a front wall (18), a rear wall (19), and two oppositely disposed end walls (20). The top wall includes a top opening fitment (22). The front wall includes a dispensing opening fitment (23). The liner lifting cradle includes a bottom panel (26), two oppositely disposed end panels (27), and a rear panel (28). The end panels have an elongated terminal end (30) which includes a reinforced mounting hole (32). The rear panel has an elongated terminal end (34) which includes a grommet (35) defining a reinforced mounting hole (36).

SYSTEM FOR DISCHARGING PRODUCT FROM A BAG
20200377251 · 2020-12-03 ·

A system for discharging product from a bag, the system including: a vibration unit arranged to support the bag and to vibrate so that the product exits an opening of the bag; a conduit having an inlet that is located below the vibration unit to receive the product; a downstream equipment connected to the conduit to receive the product from the conduit; wherein a protective cage is arranged around the inlet of the conduit, the protective cage having an open position to allow access to the inlet, and a closed position to restrict access to the inlet.

Automated hard drive static-shielding bag opening and removal

A de-bagging system includes a robot system with a robotic arm, a cutting nest assembly having a compartment including a first side-wall, and a second side-wall, and configured to receive a bagged item, a bag gripper movable relative to the first side-wall and the second side-wall, and a cutting assembly having a cutting blade. The cutting blade is slidably mounted in vicinity of the compartment. The robot system is configured to pick up a bagged item, to deposit the bagged item into the compartment, and to pick up an unbagged item from the compartment.

UNIVERSAL BAG SPLITTING DEVICE
