SQUASH BALL LAUNCHING MACHINE

An automatic ball launcher includes a ball feed control system that includes a meter wheel with radially-spaced ribs or grooves to selectively block and pass balls to the flywheels of the launcher. The meter wheel rotates to selectively block and release a single ball to pass at a time. The controller of the launcher can be programmed to stop the meter wheel when a ball has been metered by monitoring the current at peak of the motor driving the meter wheel. A meter-event can be determined to have occurred when the current of the drive motor drops to a trough by a pre-set magnitude following a rise to a peak value. A remote control can be provided for the user to operate the launching machine and adjust a plurality of parameters.

Devices such as medical devices, including those for use in conducting pelvic muscle exercise, are generally provided. Embodiments herein relate generally to the medical device and consumer medical product fields, and in some embodiments, to a device for sensing, guiding, and/or tracking pelvic muscle exercise in men and women for the purpose of treating urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction, and other pelvic conditions.

RESPIRATORY THERAPY DEVICE
20230321375 · 2023-10-12 ·

The invention relates to a respiratory therapy device (1) for treating the musculature of respiratory tracts, lung functions and/or mucous deposits in the lungs, nose and/or throat of a patient (2), consisting of a hollow body (3) in which at least one through-channel (4, 5) is provided, a mouthpiece or nosepiece (6) which is inserted into the hollow body (3) and which is connected to the patient (2) during the duration of the treatment by the respiratory therapy device (1), and consisting of at least one vibration body (11, 12) which is arranged in the interior of the hollow body (3) and which is caused to vibrate in an oscillating manner by the inhalation and/ or exhalation of the patient (2), wherein an oscillating, resistive and/or threshold-typical air pressure vibration occurs, the individual resistances during the inhalation and exhalation being adjustable specific to the patient and a modification or repositioning of the respiratory therapy device (1) not being required. This is solved in that a retaining body (13) is inserted into the hollow body (3), into which retaining body at least one opening (14) is integrated, in that a freely oscillating tongue (15) is fixed to the hollow body (13) in the region of the opening (14), by means of which tongue the opening (14) of the retaining body (13) is closed or opened in regions according to the air flows (7, 8) prevailing in the interior of the hollow body (3), in that the end face (9) of the hollow body (3) opposite the mouthpiece (6) is open, in that a stenosis (18) is inserted into said end face (9), into the shell surface (19) of which stenosis at least two passage openings (20) are provided through which the air flows (7, 8) flow into the interior of the hollow body (3) or vice versa, in that the passage openings (20) of the stenosis (18) have different cross-sectional areas than air passages for the air flows (7, 8) and that the stenosis (18) is rotatably mounted in the hollow body (3), such that one of the passage openings (20) can be selected or adjusted as an air passage by rotating the stenosis (18).

System and method for tracking a projectile

An apparatus comprising a practice device for practice of hitting a tennis ball includes a server configured for serving the tennis ball to a user, a net disposed to intercept a flight of the tennis ball after the tennis bell has been hit by the user using a racket and to direct the captured tennis ball back towards the server to be served again to the user, an image detector configured to observe the tennis ball as the tennis ball hurtles towards the net, and a processor. The processor determines, based at least in part on image frames received from the image detector, data indicative of the tennis ball's virtual landing spot. This virtual landing spot is an estimate of where the tennis ball would have landed on an opposing court had the tennis ball not been intercepted by the net.

GAME PRACTICING APPARATUS AND SYSTEM

A game practicing system for practicing a game involving propelling a playing piece into a goal of a goal post, by a player, includes one or more game practicing apparatus, and a user interactive device. The game practicing apparatus includes a target member having a target face, a target indicative lighting, and a vibration sensor. The target indicative lighting is configured to be illuminated to indicate the player to propel the playing piece on the target face. The vibration sensor to detect if the playing piece hits the target face. The user interactive device is wirelessly coupled to the practicing apparatus to: illuminate the target indicative lighting of game practicing apparatus to indicate the player to propel the playing piece on the target face; and detect if the playing piece hits the target face of the illuminated target indicative lighting.
