A cardboard box having removable endcaps which slide into an enclosure formed from a single piece of cardboard having opposing endrails secured thereto. The endrails have a captive endrail groove for engaging the sides of the endcaps.

A method of molding a collapsible, foam plastic container; the method employs two half-molds defining a molding chamber negatively reproducing the container in an erect work configuration, and forms a hinge for each lateral wall of the container when molding the container; each hinge being formed by a parting member which is inserted through the molding chamber at the hinge to be formed, and by a compression member opposite the parting member and which is moved towards the parting member to form, on the lateral wall, a small-section, higher-density portion defining the respective hinge.

Collapsible reusable watertight carrying cases are provided in sizes varying from small containers without wheels to large sealable container bins on wheels, to provide large quantities of water or other supplies and cargo. The cases are assembled or in disassembled from a joined flat space-saving configuration to a functioning case and vice-versa. The sides of the cases are erected progressively by hand by interlocking self sealing reciprocating channel and channel engaging members elements at the corners. The panels also disassemble progressively by being manually pulled apart. When folded into a flat storage or shipping configuration, the panels stay together, resisting unfolding by virtue of snaps which are either molded into the panels or bonded to them. The carrying cases are resistant to water, dirt, bacteria, molds, allergens, and inclement weather.

Methods and apparatus for removably or irremovably interconnectable building block containers such as those capable of initially storing consumable items such as food and drink. After consumption of the food or drink, the cavity containing same may be cleaned and/or refilled with consumable or non-consumable items. The building block containers are utilized as building block toys and may be manufactured or otherwise designed to be collectable. In one aspect, the container connectors are nearly identical such that any one connector may mate with any other connector. In another aspect, the connectors are nearly identical but the orientations of each connector vary to allow mating to occur when the connectors are properly oriented. In another aspect, the container is a cube juice box with connectors on all four corners of all six sides of the container. A frame for holding a juice container may also be utilized.

A foldable includes side members formed as a transverse central portion of the board, and folded respectively to form side surfaces of the box; an upper member formed to extend in an upper direction of the side members, and divided by a cutting line along a folding direction to form an upper surface of the box; and a lower member formed to extend in a lower direction of the side members, and divided by a cutting line along a folding direction to form a lower surface of the box.

There is disclosed a mould for forming a collapsible container from an expandable material, the container comprising, when assembled, at least a base and a two pairs of a side walls extending at right angles from opposing sides of the base, the mould comprising: a first mould member and a second mould member movable with respect to each other between an open and a closed moulding position to define a mould cavity; a control means for delivering expandable material into said mould cavity and for delivering steam to facilitate expansion of the expandable material within said mould cavity to form said container; and a plurality of anvils mounted on a rear surface of at least one of the first mould member and/or second mould member, each anvil being movable so as to be extended into the mould cavity so as to form one or more hinges in the expandable material at predetermined locations within the mould cavity; wherein the mould cavity defined by the first mould member and the second mould member is a three-dimensional representation of an inside-out configuration of the assembled container.

A container 1 according to an embodiment includes a body member 2 so formed of a stacked film 10 as to be self-standing and having an upper opening end 2a and a frame member 3 that is so provided as to be joined with an outer circumferential surface of the upper opening end 2a of the body member 2 and reinforces an edge portion of the upper opening end 2a in such a way that a predetermined opening shape of the upper opening end 2a is maintained, and the frame member 3 has a container holder 4 that is provided in a position where a finger touches the body member 2 when the body member 2 is held and extends downward from the frame member 3 to a halfway point of the body member 2.
