A tray section is connected to the box section has a base separate from the box section. Further, a tearing section is provided which holds the box section and the tray section together and also enables these to be torn away from each other when needed.
TAMPER-EVIDENT BOX FOR EDIBLE CONTENTS
The tamper-evident box for edible content generally includes a box having a base portion, sidewall portions, and a lid portion defining an interior volume. A front tab portion of the lid includes an adhesive tamper-evident seal that secures the lid to the front sidewall to maintain the box in a closed configuration. The box further includes multiple vents at the sidewall corners to reduce moisture buildup, and the interior of the box includes a layer of insulating material configured to maintain the contents of the box at a desired temperature. The box further includes a breakaway cutter tab disposed on a lower front corner which is used to cut across the adhesive seal and access the contents of the box. The lid and sidewalls include tabs that allow the box to secured closed position even after the seal is broken.
Shipping container systems for live samples and related die cut tray inserts
A die cut tray insert is provided including a first face and a second face, opposite and parallel to the first face; first and second assemblies secured at one end to one of the first and second faces and configured to swing between an open position and a closed position such that a pot associated with a live sample is secured on two sides; and a third face and a fourth face, perpendicular to the first and second faces and opposite and parallel to one another, the third face configured to cover a top portion of the pot associated with the live sample and the fourth face configured to contain the pot within the first, second and third faces. The third face covering the top portion of the pot is configured to reduce spillage from the pot when the first and second assemblies are in a closed position.
Reduced material packaging
A blank includes a top, the top connected to a first top side tab, a second top side tab, a top front tab, and a back tab; a bottom, the bottom defining at least one connection aperture, the bottom connected to a first bottom side tab, a second bottom side tab, a bottom front tab, and the back tab; the first bottom side tab connected to a first cover tab, the first cover tab connected to a first connection tab; the second bottom side tab connected to a second cover tab, the second over tab connected to a second connection tab; the blank formable into a box by connection of the first connection tab to at least one connection aperture and by connection of the second connection tab to at least one connection aperture.
Machine and method for forming reinforced polygonal containers from blanks
A machine for forming a container from a blank of sheet material is provided. The blank includes a reinforcing panel assembly for forming a reinforcing corner assembly. The machine includes a hopper station for storing the blank in a substantially flat configuration and a forming station for forming the blank into the container. The forming station includes an initial forming station that rotates a first portion of the reinforcing panel assembly with respect to a second portion of the reinforcing panel assembly, and a secondary forming station having male and female forming members with shapes corresponding to an interior shape and an exterior shape of the reinforcing corner assembly, respectively. The male and the female forming members are configured to form the reinforcing corner assembly by compressing together the first and second portions of the reinforcing panel assembly.
Reinforced polygonal containers and blanks for making the same
A blank of sheet material for forming a polygonal container is provided. The blank includes a bottom panel, two opposing side panels, two opposing end panels, and a reinforcing panel assembly extending from a first side edge of a first end panel of the two end panels. The reinforcing panel assembly includes a corner panel extending from the first side edge of the first end panel, a first reinforcing side panel extending from a side edge of the corner panel, a second reinforcing side panel extending from a side edge of the first reinforcing side panel, a reinforcing corner panel extending from a side edge of the second reinforcing side panel, and an inner end panel extending from a side edge of the reinforcing corner panel. The corner panel and the reinforcing corner panel are configured, upon articulation of the blank, to be positioned into face-to-face relationship to form a corner wall of the container extending from a side edge of an end wall of the container to an end edge of a side wall of the container.
Insulated box assembly with overlapping panels
A box assembly includes an exterior piece including a middle portion; a connecting segment coupled to the middle portion by a fold line; and a end segment coupled to the connecting segment by a fold line, the connecting segment positioned substantially perpendicular to the middle portion and the end segment; an interior piece positioned within the exterior piece, the interior piece including a side panel, a space defined between the middle portion and the side panel, the interior piece defining a cavity, the end segment extending into the cavity, the end segment coupled to the side panel; and an insulator positioned at least partially within the space.
SHIPPING BOXES CONFIGURED FOR AUTOMATED INVENTORY SYSTEM
A shipping box is made of a material sufficiently rigid to serve as a shipping container for product packages and is shaped so as to be able to form an enclosed shipping box having a top wall, a bottom wall, and four sidewalls interconnecting the top and bottom walls. The enclosed shipping box is configured such that the four sidewalls have at least one line of perforations predetermined to permit the top wall and predetermined top portions of the four sidewalls to selectively be removed so that portions of the shipping box remaining after the top wall and top portions of the sidewalls are removed form a display case permitting visibility and accessibility for product packages shipped using the enclosed shipping box.
Straddle flange top seal punnet
A container comprising a bottom panel defining a base of the container, and a plurality of side walls extending from the bottom panel and defining an interior area of the container, wherein the plurality of side walls include at least opposing first and second side walls. A first flange structure is connected to each of the first and second side walls along respective fold lines at an upper edge of the container. Each first flange structure straddles a respective side wall and comprises an inner flange portion extending over the interior area of the container, and an outer flange portion, coplanar with the inner flange portion, extending away from the interior of the container, wherein the outer flange portion is defined by one or more tabs.
Container with air flow cooling channels
