MULTISTRUCTURAL SHOCK ABSORBING SYSTEM FOR ANATOMICAL CUSHIONING
A shock absorbing system for force attenuation, impact modification or reduction, employs an envelope having a chamber containing a first working fluid, the envelope deformable in response to the impulse to attenuate impact force. A plurality of resilient supplemental absorber elements dispersed within the chamber. The plurality of resilient supplemental absorber elements are deformable in response to the force to assist in attenuating impact force and provide additional resilient restoring force to return the envelope to a pre-impact shape. In alternative implementations, a unitary cell for energy dissipation employs an envelope having a chamber containing a first working fluid and an inner element contained within the chamber and having an inner chamber containing a second working fluid.
Circular Bladder Oxygen Therapy Exercise System
The invention relates generally to a circular bladder system for exercise with oxygen therapy (EWOT). The circular bladder design supplies, controls, and/or select between two or more airflows with one bladder that is cylindrical and collapsible within a frame; and the other bladder that is mounted atop the frame. The bladder contains different oxygen levels and pressures to simulate different altitudes.
JOINT SEPARATOR FOR BODY ALIGNMENT
A spinal treatment system includes a traction device, an exercise device adapted for imparting curvature to the lumbar or sacral spine of a user and for manipulating the spine and intervertebral discs with decompression force, and a cushion coupled to the traction device and configured to bear against one or both of a head of the user and the thoracic spine of the user. The exercise device includes a frame for placement on the floor. A pad or inflatable bladder is carried by the top surface of the frame. A body strap attachment portion encompasses the thoracic-sacral spinal vertebrae region of the user and secures the frame to the user. The cushion includes one or more pad sections or inflatable bladder sections.
SEMI-SUBMERSED FLOATING STRIKING EXERCISE DEVICE
A semi-submersed floating striking exercise device with a striking portion to be filled with water, a floatation portion at least partially above the striking portion, the floatation portion to be filled with air and an above-the-water portion to be filled with air, the above-the-water portion positioned above the floatation portion. The striking exercise device also includes at least one of a handle and/or an attachment device, at least one air inlet for inflating the floatation portion and the above-the-water portion, and a water inlet for filling the striking portion with water. The striking exercise device optionally includes a tether with a first end and a second end, and a tether harness to be worn on a user, wherein the first end of the tether is attachable to the semi-submersed floating striking exercise device and the second end of the tether is attachable to the tether harness.
A SOFT PORTABLE WEARABLE PNEUMATIC INTERACTIVE SUIT
A fully wearable system used for communication and information transfer between two users or between a user and a machine to render an effective and intuitive physical interface for combined input and output functions, the fully wearable system including a bidirectional wearable skin including distributed actuator and sensing elements, the actuator and sensing elements including a multimodal actuation layer and a sensing layer, the bidirectional wearable skin being flexible and stretchable, and a portable control device for controlling the distributed actuator and sensing elements, and reading signals from the sensing layer, the portable control device is configured to perform pixilated actuation for both micro- and macrostimulation of a body of a wearer by an actuation frequency and stimulation amplitude.
Inflatable golf studio
A portable inflatable golf studio including an arcuate shaped roof panel, first and second side panels, a floor panel, a front panel, a back panel, a projector screen, a projector, and a tracking system. The first and second side panels are positioned parallel from one another and are attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel, wherein one of the first and second side panels defines a cavity configured to receive a television monitor. The floor panel configured to connect the first and second side panels to one another. The front panel removable attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel and the first and second side panels. The back panel positioned parallel to the front panel and attached to the arcuate shaped roof panel and the first and second side panels. Each panel includes one or more of inflatable sections.
Swimmer restraint device
The present development is a device that restrains an individual from swimming beyond a predetermined range. The device comprises a frame, at least one ballast unit, at least one tether line and a means to secure the swimmer to the tether line. The device is intended to be portable and easy to use while still providing a sturdy restraint.
PORTABLE DEVICES FOR EXERCISING MUSCLES IN THE ANKLE, FOOT, AND/OR LEG, AND RELATED METHODS
A portable exercise device includes a first body and a second body. The exercise device also includes a support structure pivotably connecting the first and second bodies. The support structure is configured to move between an engaged position and a disengaged position. The device also includes a resistance mechanism configured to resist movement of the first and second bodies toward one another when the support structure is in the engaged position. When the support structure is in the engaged position, the first body is positioned substantially parallel to the second body such that in a first open, in-use configuration of the device, the first body has a first neutral position relative to a pivot axis and in a second open, in-use configuration of the device, the second body has a second neutral position relative to the pivot axis.
PORTABLE DEVICES FOR EXERCISING MUSCLES IN THE ANKLE, FOOT, AND/OR LEG, AND RELATED METHODS
A portable exercise device includes a pedal pivotably connected to a pair of supports. The pedal has a neutral position relative to a pivot axis. The pedal is configured to rotate about the pivot axis in a first direction toward one support and in a second direction, opposite the first direction, toward the other support. The exercise device also includes a resistance mechanism configured to exert a force on the pedal about the pivot axis in a direction opposite to the respective direction of rotation of the pedal about the pivot axis. The device is movable between an open, in-use configuration, where the pedal is disposed in the neutral position to receive a foot of a user and the pair of supports together form a triangular base, and a closed configuration, where the pair of supports are flush against the pedal.
EXERCISE JUMPER
A jumper apparatus may include a ring, a set of poles along the ring and a pneumatic tube. Each pole of the set of poles may have a first axial end portion inwardly extending towards a centerline of the ring, a second axial end portion outwardly extending away from the centerline of the ring and a vertical portion connecting the first axial end portion and the second axial end portion. The ring is vertically located between the first axial end portion and the second axial end portion of each pole. The pneumatic tube may extend about the set of poles over the second axial end portion of each pole.
