Can ends having re-closable pour openings
Re-closable mobile packages are disclosed. An example can end includes a center panel having a pour opening, a first wall extending from the center panel around a perimeter of the pour opening, and a cover rotatably coupled to the center panel. The cover is rotatable relative to the pour opening between a first position and a second position. The cover interlocks with the first wall when the cover is in the first position to prevent access to the pour opening. The cover exposes the pour opening when cover is in the second position.
BEVERAGE CAN ENDS HAVING A GAS CHARGING PORT
A beverage can end includes a filling port in the end itself. An activating gas that interacts with the beverage may be charged through the filling port. If the end has a vent opening, such as sometimes used in a recloseable end, the vent opening may be used for charging the activating gas.
CLOSURE ASSEMBLY FOR A BEVERAGE CONTAINER AND METHOD FOR REPEATABLY CLOSING A BEVERAGE CONTAINER WITH A CLOSURE ASSEMBLY
The invention relates to a closure assembly (1) for a beverage container (2), at least comprising a lid element (3) having an opening (4), and a closure element (5) for repeatably closing the opening (4), said closure element being disposed on the lid element (3); wherein the lid element (3) has an outer side (6) and an inner side (7), and the opening (4) has an opening edge (8) and an opening plane (9) formed by the opening edge (8); wherein the closure element (5) has at least one base part (10), a tab (11) and a cover (12); wherein the base part (10) comprises a frame part (13) which is disposed on the opening edge (8) and has a window (14), the tab (11) being pivotably connected to the frame part (13) by means of a first axis of rotation (16); and wherein the cover (12) closes the window (14) in an initial position (16) of the closure arrangement (1) and is connected pivotably to the frame part (13) via a second axis of rotation (17) or via a hinge (33). The invention also relates to a method for repeatably closing an opening (4) of a beverage container (2) with a closure assembly (1).
Can lid
A reclosable can lid is described that has a collar part and a lid receiving part composed of plastic that can be coupled to one another via a snap-in latching connection, wherein a tear line closed in itself is either partly perforated or is formed as a toothed separating line and the leak-tightness is ensured by a sealing film provided at the inner side of the lid cover.
CONSTRUCTIVE ARRANGEMENT APPLIED TO A SEAL IN A BEVERAGE PACKAGE
The invention provides a beverage package, having a seal on a container for beverages or any other liquid products, the seal having a variety of geometric shapes, such as triangular, elliptical or semicircular, and is generally attached to the lid of the container by a central articulation pin. A sealing tab is generally provided on the lower face of the seal and attached to the seal through the central core, and teeth are provided in the peripheral region close to the base of the seal, serving to penetrate into the edge between the sealing tab and the opening provided in the lid of the container.
Container lid with closure
The invention relates to a lid for a container, in particular for a can, comprising: a lid surface (110) with a first opening (115) passing through the lid surface; an inner element (120), which is arranged on an inner side of the lid surface and has a ventilating opening (125), which passes through the inner element and is aligned with the first opening; an actuating element (130), which is arranged on an outer side of the lid surface and is formed preferably from plastics material, wherein the actuating element has a first (141) and a second (142) articulation region, said regions subdividing the actuating element into a first (131), a second (132) and a third (133) portion, and the second portion is arranged between the first and the third portions; wherein the first portion of the actuating element is arranged in abutment against the lid surface; the second portion of the actuating element can be pivoted relative to the first portion about the first articulation region and the second portion has a closing element, in particular a bung (135), for closing the ventilating opening; the third portion of the actuating element can be pivoted relative to the second portion about the second articulation region and the third portion has a first coupling element (161); and the inner element has a second coupling element (162), which can be coupled to the first coupling element.
Gas tight resealable can end for beverage containers
A resealable closure for a metal beverage container including a closure cap which engages with a dispensing mouth which provides an initial gas tight seal, tamper resistant and tamper evident means, good purchase and mechanical advantage to tighten and loosen as well as remove and apply the closure mechanism, a gas tight reseal capability, and a protected, hygienic dispensing mouth. The several embodiments of the invention employ designs, materials, and manufacturing methods which are inexpensive and consistent with current manufacturing practices. The functionality, size, cost, simplicity, reliability and robustness of the proposed designs are all advantageous.
