Container Lid with Closure
The invention relates to a lid for a container, in particular for a can, comprising: a lid surface (110) with a first opening (115) passing through the lid surface; an inner element (120), which is arranged on an inner side of the lid surface and has a ventilating opening (125), which passes through the inner element and is aligned with the first opening; an actuating element (130), which is arranged on an outer side of the lid surface and is formed preferably from plastics material, wherein the actuating element has a first (141) and a second (142) articulation region, said regions subdividing the actuating element into a first (131), a second (132) and a third (133) portion, and the second portion is arranged between the first and the third portions; wherein the first portion of the actuating element is arranged in abutment against the lid surface; the second portion of the actuating element can be pivoted relative to the first portion about the first articulation region and the second portion has a closing element, in particular a bung (135), for closing the ventilating opening; the third portion of the actuating element can be pivoted relative to the second portion about the second articulation region and the third portion has a first coupling element (161); and the inner element has a second coupling element (162), which can be coupled to the first coupling element.
Container with high moisture barrier properties and a reclosable pour spout
A paperboard substrate that can be used to provide a food packaging particle is provided having a water vapor barrier layer comprising HDPE in combination with a nucleating agent which is extruded on to a paperboard substrate. The resulting substrate has sufficiently good water vapor barrier when properties that dry foods such as cereals do not require a bag or inner liner as a separate moisture barrier.
Reclosing mechanism for containers, particularly beverage containers
The reclosing mechanism for containers, particularly beverage containers, has the latch (3) fitted slidingly in the opening (5). Formed on the top side of the latch (3) there is an attachment (14) shorter than the opening (5) and narrower than the latch (3), where the attachment (14) is fitted with a pull tab (4) longer than the attachment (14) and fixed to the attachment (14) with a hinge (6) and a connector (7) which serves as the seal before the first opening. Formed on the opposite longitudinal sides of the attachment (14) there are catches (8) fitted slidingly on the guides (13) formed on the longer side walls of the opening (5). On the top surface of the element in which the opening (5) is made there are protrusions (10) formed on the side of the pull tab (4) front, on which the pull tab (4) rests and blocks the sliding of the latch (3) in the closed position.
Closure system for containers
A closure system for a container for liquids or bulk material includes a lid having an upper side, a lower side and a drinking orifice, a closure member for closing the drinking orifice that is positioned at a lower side of the lid and configured to cover an entire surface of the drinking orifice in a closed position, an operating member for manually opening the drinking orifice by a user positioned at the upper side of the lid and connected to the operating member, and at least one recess defined in the lid and disposed relative to the closure member such that, when the closure member is moved from the closed position via the operating member, the at least one recess is at least partially overlapped by the closure member such that a gas exchange occurs between an interior of the container and an environment.
CAN END
A can end having a metallic end surface in which an opening is formed that is bounded by a closed margin of the end surface and that can be closed by a closure piece is provided. The can end has a sealing frame and a closure unit that supports the closure piece and that is pivotably attached to the metallic end surface. The sealing frame and the closure unit can be releasably connected in a fluidtight manner to one another via a sealing rib and an associated reception groove. Respective latching lugs are arranged at the one sealing rib and at the reception groove. In a starting position of the closure unit, the closure piece is flush with the surrounding end surface or is offset in parallel therefrom by less than the thickness of the metallic end surface.
