Described herein are packaging systems having a receptacle and one or a plurality of expandable members that are configured to move from a collapsed configuration to an expanded configuration. In some variations the expandable member includes one or a plurality of folded pieces of material (e.g., tissue paper or fabric (e.g., tulle)), which are attached to the receptacle. In the expanded configuration, the expandable member(s) obscure an object (e.g., a gift) placed within the receptacle without closing the receptacle.

A rock bag and method of manufacturing same are provided herein. In one embodiment, the rock bag has a first set of opposed sides, each side of which is substantially the same dimensions, a second set of opposed sides, each side of which is substantially the same dimensions, and a bottom side formed to operatively couple with the first and second set of opposed sides such that the rock bag forms an enclosure with five sides and an opening opposite the bottom side. And the material forming the sides comprises between 40% and 90% rock content.

A tamper-evident bag seal and tamper-evident bags and methods are disclosed. In one embodiment, the tamper-evident bag seal may be a paper or paperboard panel that folds over the handles of an existing bag and is secured to the sides of the bag. The tamper-evident bag seal includes a perforated fold, seam, or line along that is the mechanism for opening the bag and wherein the perforated fold, seam, or line is also the tamper-evident feature of the bag. In another embodiment, the tamper-evident bag includes a sealable flap for securing the bag in the closed state. In another embodiment, the tamper-evident bag includes a tear-away strip along the sealable flap that is the mechanism for opening the bag and wherein the tear-away strip is also the tamper-evident feature of the bag.

A tamper-evident bag seal and tamper-evident bags and methods are disclosed. In one embodiment, the tamper-evident bag seal may be a paper or paperboard panel that folds over the handles of an existing bag and is secured to the sides of the bag. A reusable shopping bag preferably may include a base and a sidewall having a lower continuous perimeter and an upper continuous perimeter, and the lower perimeter may be coupled to the base to form an interior cavity. A first sleeve may be coupled to a first exterior surface of the sidewall to form a first rack channel between the first sleeve and first exterior surface, and a second sleeve may be coupled to a second exterior surface of the sidewall to form a second rack channel between the second sleeve and second exterior surface. A drawstring may be coupled to the sidewall proximate to the upper perimeter, the drawstring configured to govern the size of the upper perimeter.

A reusable shopping bag preferably may include a base and a sidewall having a lower continuous perimeter and an upper continuous perimeter, and the lower perimeter may be coupled to the base to form an interior cavity. A first sleeve may be coupled to a first exterior surface of the sidewall to form a first rack channel between the first sleeve and first exterior surface, and a second sleeve may be coupled to a second exterior surface of the sidewall to form a second rack channel between the second sleeve and second exterior surface. A drawstring may be coupled to the sidewall proximate to the upper perimeter, the drawstring configured to govern the size of the upper perimeter.

A reusable plastic bag having as well as a reusable plastic bag with holding straps have internal bag inserts for receiving one or more beverage bottles. A plastic film layer is connected to the inside of a front and/or rear wail of the plastic bag at least in portions, by way of at least two welded or adhesively bonded areas which are spaced apart from one another and extend from a point spaced apart from a base edge of the bag towards or as far as an opening edge of the bag, so as to form the internal bag inserts, which are open towards the bag opening and are each configured and designed to receive one or more beverage bottles.

A gift bag with a pocket containing an integral pop-up structure which is operative to move between a first position wherein the pop-up structure is in a substantially flat position and substantially contained within the pocket of the gift bag, and a second position wherein the pop-up structure is unfolded into a three-dimensional structure that is substantially contained outside of the pocket of the gift bag.
