An easy-open hygienic plastic produce bag and method of saliva-free opening provides enables facilitated opening of the bag for loading produce inside. The bag has thin, transparent sidewalls with four sides. The sides include a closed side, a pair of sealed lateral sides, and an openable side. The openable side has a first edge and a second edge that separate and come together to create an open position and a closed position, respectively. The openable side has a connected center region, where the first and second edges join; and a pair of open outer regions, where the first and second edges are separated. A non-metallic tie, for example a twist-tie or a tin-tie, comprises a polymeric material melt-blending from a composition containing (a) from about 50 to about 80 wt % of at least one matrix-forming thermoplastic polymer which is amorphous or becomes amorphous when melted, and (b) from about 20 to about 50 wt % of at least one elastomeric polymer which has a flexural modulus of less than 700 MPa and a glass transition temperature less than 25 C., based on the combined weight of (a) and (b). The tie is characterized by tensile elongation at break according to ASTM D638-00 of from about 20 to about 100; and a dead fold angle equal to or less than about 30, as determined by a method including the steps of (i) providing a sample of the twist tie having two end portions, a thickness of 1-2 mm and a length of about 100 mm; (ii) folding the sample approximately in half in the lengthwise direction so that end portions are approximately adjacent to each other; (iii) relaxing the folded sample at room temperature for three minutes; and (iv) measuring as the dead fold angle the included angle between the article sample end portions.

An equipment containment and transport assembly (20) includes an open-top equipment-receiving primary bag (22) having upstanding sidewall structure (26) equipped with lifting lug opening pairs (30, 32), and a bottom wall (28). The assembly (20) further has a flexible sleeve (24), which is secured to the sidewall structure (26) and is shiftable between a ready position surrounding the sidewall structure (26) and a deployed position extending upwardly for closure or the assembly (20). When deployed, the sleeve (24) covers the lug opening pairs (30, 32). The assembly (20) is particularly useful for containment and shipping of electrical transformers.

A binding tool includes a pair of leg portions and a central portion that is provided between the pair of leg portions. The binding tool is formed in a horseshoe shape and is capable of binding an object to be bound by bending the pair of leg portions inward. The asphalt sealer packaging and dispensing system includes a pre-portioned, modular containment for a volume of cold pour asphalt sealer. The modular containment forms a cube shaped outer corrugated cardboard housing having a high temperature stable bladder insert. The bladder insert forms an upper handle that may extend through a first slot for handling and control of the outer housing. A dispensing tab may be formed as a tongue extension that extends through an opposing second slot. Shearing the outer terminus of the tongue extension thereby forms a shaped spout for allowing a linear output of asphalt sealer to be directly dispensed into a target surface.

The present invention provides a portable, watertight sealing device and a method for use of the device. The device allows keeping and moving small objects safely and in a watertight manner, the sealing device including a bag made of a deformable and waterproof elastic material, in turn having a main body, a neck, and an opening through which an object can be inserted; and a main ring likewise made of a deformable and waterproof elastic material, and having a central hole. In the sealed position of the device, the neck of the bag has a fold in a position inserted into the central hole of the main ring, with a band retained between the fold on the neck and the main ring.

A twist-tie includes a fastener having a malleable material surrounded by an outer coating having a longitudinal axis and extending between a first end and a second end; and an indicia portion extending at least partially along the longitudinal axis, the indicia portion including at least a portion that is attached to the fastener and at least a portion that is separated from the fastener, wherein a separation between the indicia portion and the fastener defines a slit that extends from an open end toward a closed end in a direction of at least one of the first end toward the second end and the second end toward the first end.

A flexible package that can include first and second sidewalls. The first and second sidewalls being joined by a bottom portion and seams that define first and second sides. The package can have an opening opposite the bottom portion, a first plurality of magnetic regions, and a second plurality of magnetic regions. The first plurality of magnetic regions can be disposed on the first sidewall near the opening and include discrete magnetic regions. A second plurality of magnetic regions can be disposed on the second sidewall near the access opening and include opposed discrete magnetic regions. The second plurality of magnetic regions being opposite the first plurality of magnetic regions. The discrete magnetic regions and the opposed discrete magnetic regions can be magnetically engageable with a magnetic force to close the opening of the package in a configuration having M petals, where M is an integer from 2 to 8.

A twist-tie includes a fastener having a malleable material surrounded by an outer coating having a longitudinal axis and extending between a first end and a second end; and an indicia portion extending at least partially along the longitudinal axis, the indicia portion including at least a portion that is attached to the fastener and at least a portion that is separated from the fastener, wherein a separation between the indicia portion and the fastener defines a slit that extends from an open end toward a closed end in a direction of at least one of the first end toward the second end and the second end toward the first end.

A device for securely receiving a package, the device being suitable for its attachment to an external element of a door, comprising: at least one fastener and a safety lock. Advantageously, the device further comprises: a receiving element; a pass-through retaining element; and a container bag. Also advantageously: the safety lock is configured for blocking the pass-through retaining element when said retaining element is inserted in the receiving element; and the container bag comprises through holes that can be brought together by arranging the pass-through retaining element therethrough, so that the container bag is closed when the pass-through retaining element is blocked at the receiving element. The present invention also relates to a system and a delivery method that comprise said device.
