Snap cap in multi-component injection molding technology
A cover includes a bistable flap mechanism made of a plastic with at least two material components. The cover can be produced in one piece in a multi-component injection molding technique. At a transitional area between a front wall and an edge portion, the plastic is sufficiently stiff (preferably due to greater material thickness) to ensure that an angle enclosed in the transitional area from the side wall to the edge portion remains constant in both bistable states. Expansion portions provided in the edge portion ensure that the outer circumference of the edge portion can increase/decrease from one bistable state to the other bistable state. A closing system including the cover is also provided.
Tamper Evidencing Metal Foil Container Closure
A tamper evident metal foil closure for a container which provides visual evidence of tampering in the form of damage to the metal foil (e.g. tearing) and evidence of temperature tampering of the metal foil when heat is used to remove and reseal the metal foil. Containers sealed with this novel metal foil closure make it more difficult to tamper with or remove the container contents and then return the container for a refund.
Defect-Indicating Gasket for Sterilization Container
A sterilization packaging system with features for sealing a volume against an ingress of contaminants is provided. Such features include a sealing gasket and a sheet of filter material. The gasket seals a lid to a seal rim of a container base of the sterilization packaging system. The gasket can enable quick identification of punctures, holes, tears, etc. so that the user notices immediately that the seal has been breached and that the contents of the sterilization packaging have been exposed to the outside environment.
MULTI-COMPARTMENT CONTAINER SYSTEM WITH DETACHABLE AND RE-ATTACHABLE COMPARTMENTS AND METHODS AND SYSTEMS OF USING THE SAME
A multi-compartment container system includes a plurality of compartments. Each compartment includes a cup portion comprising a volume adapted to hold a food or liquid, and a frame portion joined to the cup portion. The frame portion surrounds a top portion or edge of the cup portion, and includes a connector element disposed on a side of the frame and one or more first mating elements. The compartment also includes a lid having one or more second mating elements adapted to engage with the one or more first mating elements of the frame to form a seal, and a chamber adapted to hold a utensil. The connector element of the frame is joined to an adjacent connector element of an adjacent frame of an adjacent compartment. The cup portion includes a first section and a second section, and the cup portion is adapted to move between an expanded state in which no part of the second section is inside the first section and a collapsed state in which at least a portion of the second section is inside the first section.
System and method for transporting and storing post-harvest fruits, vegetables and other perishable commodities under controlled atmospheric conditions
A system and method for transporting and storing post-harvest fruits, vegetables and other perishable commodities under controlled atmospheric conditions is provided. One or more transportable vacuum containers are packed with the perishable commodity. Thereafter, the controlled atmospheric condition is created within the container. The atmospheric condition is maintained while the container is transported from one location to another. Part of the controlled atmospheric condition includes the formation of a vacuum within the container. Internal structure is provided within the container to resist collapse of the container when the vacuum is formed therein. A plurality of containers can be provided. A central control, coupled to each of the containers can be provided to maintain the desired atmospheric condition within each of the containers.
CONTAINER LID STRUCTURE AND LID STRUCTURE FOR PREPARING BEVERAGE
A lid structure, which is used for covering an opening of a container, includes a mainbody, an elastic annular element, and a covering assembly. The mainbody includes a through hole. The elastic annular element is integrally disposed on a peripheral region of the mainbody, wherein the elastic annular element is used for positioning the lid structure on the opening. The covering assembly is disposed on the mainbody and includes a spacer element and a covering element. The spacer element is disposed on and covers the through hole. The spacer element includes a plurality of drain holes and a central connecting portion. The covering element is deformably disposed on the central connecting portion.
PORTABLE, DEPLOYABLE CONTAINER SYSTEM
A portable deployable container system has structural elements, including a base, a cover, and a set of panels, which can be manipulated into at least two container configurations. In one configuration, a container is formed by releasably securing the cover to the base to define a first volume. Some or all of the panels may be enclosed within such first volume, defining an undeployed configuration for the system. A second configuration involves removably securing some or all of the set of panels to the base and enclosing the panels with the cover, thereby deploying the system and forming a second, deployed configuration enclosing a volume larger than the first volume. Interconnections between the structural elements benefit from duckbill connections which add strength to the configurations by receiving flanges of first elements into corresponding channels of second elements formed by flared walls on such structural elements.
TANK WITH TANK MAIN BODY AND LID
A tank includes a tank main body configured to house liquid and a lid configured to cover an upper side of the tank main body. The tank main body includes an atmosphere communication hole having an opening opened on an upper surface of the tank main body and a lowered step portion dug down from a periphery of the opening. The lid includes a recess formed on a lower surface of the lid and facing the opening.
DRINK LID ARRANGEMENTS AND METHODS
An apparatus can include a generally planar portion approximately in a plane. The apparatus can also include a lip portion extending in a direction generally orthogonal to the plane. The generally planar portion is joined to the lip portion at a circumferential edge of the generally planar portion to form a cover for a beverage container. Likewise, a method can include providing contact information on a disposable cover adapted to cover a beverage container. The contact information is not necessarily provided by the manufacturer of the beverage or beverage container. The method can also include receiving contact from a user of the disposable cover. The method can further include coordinating the delivery of a service to the user of the disposable cover responsive to the contact received from the user.
SCREEN BASKET AND COVER FOR SAID SCREEN BASKET
A screen basket for the preparation of medical instruments. The screen basket having a substantially rectangular base area and an open upper side. The screen basket including: a first container part and a second container part, the first container part and the second container part each being open at an end face and each comprise a screen-like wall, the first container part being configured for insertion into the second container part; and at least one locking pin configured to be pushed through each of two or more push-through openings provided in one or more of the first container part and the second container part, the at least one locking pin selectively locking the first container part and the second container part together in at least two different positions with respect to each other.
