RECLOSABLE LID FOR A FOOD OR BEVERAGE CONTAINER AND HAVING A VACUUM OR PRESSURE RELEASE BUTTON
A sheet metal lid has a rim portion removably secured and sealed to a container and the lid includes a vent button having a top wall portion surrounded by a side wall portion and an outwardly projecting flange portion. The flange portion of the button has a short arcuate score or shear line extending substantially into the sheet metal, and additional score lines extend into the flange portion at lesser depths to protect a coating on the inner surface of the lid. A resilient sealant material may be bonded to the inner surface of the vent button, and the opposing sheet metal portions of the score line form a small gap for releasing a vacuum or pressure from the container in response to a controlled downward pressure on the top wall portion of the vent button.
Anti-spill Disposable Drink through Cup Lid
This invention relates to anti-spill disposable and reusable drink-through lids for hot and cold disposable and reusable beverage cups. The present invention is directed to drink-through lids which may be placed over and attached to disposable and reusable beverage cups and which provides a drink-through opening near the perimeter of the lid's top surface for easy drinking. The drink-though lid can accommodate a consumer's lips or a beverage disposable or reusable straw. When used with a straw, the lid and straw combination creates a spill-proof seal.
Portable container and container assembly
An accessory for use with a portable container includes a jacket having a storage member and configured to extend around at least a portion of the sidewall of the container and a connection member connected to the jacket and configured to support the jacket in connection with the container. The connection member includes a connector configured to be connected to a port on the container such that a portion of the connector is received through the port.
Vacuum-drawing lid
A vacuum-drawing lid can include a base frame with a first one-way valve, a piston with a second one-way valve, and a cylindrical cam with a sinusoidal groove formed on an inner surface thereof to drive reciprocation of the piston as the cylindrical cam turns. Turning the cylindrical cam in a first direction can drive the piston to translate in a first direction and actuate the first valve. Turning the cylindrical cam in a second direction can drive the piston to translate in a second direction and actuate the second valve.
STORAGE CONTAINER FOR TAB LEAD, AND COMBINATION OF TAB LEAD AND STORAGE CONTAINER
A container for a tab lead includes a main body part configured to contain a plurality of tab leads and a cover part configured to cover the main body part. The main body part has a pocket that has an inverted quadrangular pyramidal trapezoid shape having a bottom surface and four side surfaces, in which an area of an opening at an upper end of the pocket is larger than an area of the bottom surface. The pocket is configured such that a volume of a region occupied by portions, which are below an upper end of an insulating films of the plurality of tab leads, of the plurality of tab leads in a state in which the plurality of tab leads are contained in the pocket is included within a range of 70% to 90% of a volume of the pocket.
SINGLE-STEP OPEN AND MIX FOOD STORAGE CONTAINER
An internal container for storage of a first substance and in use with an external container for storage of a second disparate substance is provided. The internal container may be stored within the external container while keeping the first substance and the second substance separated until a predetermined time. At the predetermined time the first substance and the second substance may be mixed by continuously accelerating or shaking the external container without any direct user contact with the internal container.
MODULAR TOOLBOX DESIGNED AND ORGANIZED FOR PAINTING TOOLS
In an example embodiment, there is disclosed herein a modular toolbox that is designed and organized for the storage and transport of painting tools. The modular toolbox has modules that are separably stacked and is designed to include storage for painting tools such as, for example, brushes, roller frames, roller covers, putty knives, lights, and an extension pole with compartments allowing for the storage and transport of personal items. In particular embodiments, the modular toolbox includes specific storage capabilities for wet tools so that they can be stored and transported to a different location for cleaning.
Method and System for Providing a Thermochromatic Indication of a Temperature Condition in a Vessel through Convection
A thermochromatic label system with a vessel, a lid with a lid surface, a thermochromatic label, and a protuberating, preconfigured label retention structure within the lid surface for retaining the thermochromatic label. When applied to the label retention structure, the thermochromatic label indicates a temperature condition of vessel contents through convective heat transfer. The label has a facestock with one or more thermochromatic images. Plural labels can be retained on a release liner, and a removable adhesive permit selective application and removal of the label. The thermochromatic label and the label retention structure can be contoured with corresponding three-dimensional shapes. The three-dimensional shapes could be liquid tight, conical shapes, each with a lower portion, a mid-portion, and a peak portion, and first, second, and third thermochromatic images can be disposed on the respective portions of the facestock.
Storage container systems
A container system includes a first container including a bottom wall, at least one sidewall, and an open top, with a plurality of indented recesses formed in the bottom wall. A first lid closes the open top of the first container. A second container includes a bottom wall, at least one sidewall, and an open top. A second lid closes the open top of the second container, with a push indicator structure formed at a center portion of the second lid, and with a plurality of registration bumps formed about the push indicator structure. The first container is stackable on the second lid such that (i) each of the registration bumps in the second lid is aligned with an adjacent one of the recesses in the bottom wall of the first container and (ii) surfaces of the registration bumps are spaced from surfaces of the adjacent recesses.
Airflow cooling lid
An airflow cooling lid for hot beverage containers enables the user to cool down the beverage in the container by blowing outside air across the surface of the beverage without removal of the lid. The airflow cooling lid includes a circular cover snuggly placed over a hot beverage container having a mounting rim, a surface portion, a sipping portal in form of an opening for consuming the beverage, an airflow opening to be used as either the intake or exhaust portal for the air drawn over the surface of the beverage, and a pinhole vent opening for allowing outside air into the container and pressure release in the event both portals are plugged. The airflow portal is angled outward to allow the exhaust air to flow away from the face when blowing through either portal.
