In some embodiments, apparatuses and methods are provided herein useful to storage devices. In some embodiments, a mountable storage device comprises a container including a base and a plurality of sidewalls, wherein the plurality of sidewalls define an inner cavity, wherein at least one of the plurality of sidewalls includes a retention member, and wherein the base includes a mounting point, a strap removably secured to the container via the mounting point, and an insert including a plurality of slits configured to receive and secure fishing tackle, wherein the insert is releasably retained within the inner cavity via the retention member.

A child-resistant storage case has a lid hinged to a base to define an interior storage space. Two side latches are spaced apart from one another on opposing side aspects of the storage case. A front latch mechanism includes a horizontal tab extending forward from the front aspect of the case. To open the storage case, the user must simultaneously press inward on the side latches, press downward on the horizontal tab, and lift the lid upward. The required downward actuation of the front latch mechanism is counter-intuitive for most people, and in combination with the side latches, is very difficult for most small children.

A child-resistant storage case has a lid hinged to a base to define an interior storage space. Two side latches are spaced apart from one another on opposing side aspects of the storage case. A front latch mechanism includes a horizontal tab extending forward from the front aspect of the case. To open the storage case, the user must simultaneously press inward on the side latches, press downward on the horizontal tab, and lift the lid upward. A thermoformed packaging container includes a base section having a bottom surface, first and second inner and outer base side walls, and first and second inner and outer base end walls forming a chamber, with at least one outer base one side wall having a plurality of base indentations and protrusions formed therein. A cover section having a top surface, first and second cover side walls, and first and second cover end walls, the cover section adapted to cover the base section when in a closed state, with at least one of the cover side walls having a plurality of cover indentations and protrusions formed therein for engaging with the plurality of base indentations and protrusions. The container also includes a closure mechanism for securing the container in a closed position, wherein the closure mechanism is formed within at least one end wall of the base section and a corresponding end wall of the cover section.
