BLOW-THROUGH COOLING VENTED BEVERAGE LID
A removable vented lid comprising a top, a base, and a convex annular side wall. An annular mounting portion with an inner lip and an overlapping outer lip engage a rim of a cup. An outer lip flares outward from the cup extending from than the inner lip for assisting the user in aligning the lid with the cup. A removable vented lid including an annular side wall extends upwardly from amounting portion of the lid. A top wall extends across a top of the vented lid having a generally circular periphery. An opening is formed in the lid adjacent to a periphery of the top wall. A first baffle extends downward from an underside of the top wall centered with the opening and inset from the annular side wall having a base disposed radially inward of a far side of the opening. A first baffle and opposing second baffle are arced concentrically with the annular side wall and flares radially outward at an angle overlapping a selected effective area of the opening and extends a distance no greater than the length of the annular side wall.
Pouring spout and package including the same
A packaged product comprising a container (100) and a scented household liquid is disclosed that comprises an integrated pouring spout (130) that is configured to increase the exposed surface area of a scented household liquid during a product dispensing event, thereby increasing the amount of scent (or fragrance) released from the scented household liquid during the product dispensing event. In one aspect, the pouring spout may have a flared section in which the width of the flow channel (147) increases moving toward the spout outlet.
Selective Flow Member for a Container
A flow selector configured for selectively or optionally regulating flow of liquid from a container is disclosed.
Liquid-cooling container lid construction
A liquid container orifice assembly, lid assembly, and unibody lid construction enable a user to outfit particularized liquid containers for enabling lid-based liquid-pooling or compartmentalization and heat transfer from lid-pooled or lid-compartmentalized liquid prior to liquid egression from a lid-outfitted liquid container prior to liquid consumption. All embodiments provide liquid re-directing or damming structures that operate to control the delivery of hot liquid for promoting heat loss from re-directed liquid flows. Certain structures cooperate with existing art to minimize leakage problems associated therewith. Other structures operate to particularly shape parceled liquid volumes for effecting rapid heat transfers therefrom. Still other structures harness material-philic properties of liquids for further effecting rapid heat transfers and liquid directional control mechanisms. Combinations of the various structural features here noted are also contemplated throughout the following specifications.
Bottle with insulated chamber and internal storage for cups and accessories
A shatter-resistant container in the shape of a large wine bottle with an insulated chamber. The container is designed for use in an area such as a pool or beach where glass is restricted. The container has a removable neck which permits a full bottle of wine to be poured quickly into a large opening in the insulated chamber. A base can be removed to access a storage compartment which holds a pair of disassembled stemmed wine glasses or stemless glasses made of a shatter-resistant polymer. The neck includes a cap or valve and an aerator, so that wine is aerated as it is poured from the container.
Insert to reduce likelihood of contamination through backwash and container with same
An insert may be used with a container that includes a lid with a suction opening and a liquid storage portion where the lid threads onto the liquid storage portion to allow liquid from the liquid storage portion to be consumed through the suction opening by a user. The insert includes a barrier with an outer perimeter that is configured to be captured, and form a seal against liquid, between the lid and the liquid storage portion when the lid is threaded onto the liquid storage portion; a first one-way valve through the barrier and configured to allow the liquid to flow from the liquid storage portion to the suction opening during consumption of the liquid by the user; and a second one-way valve configured to allow air to flow into the liquid storage portion.
MULTI-FLOW STOPPER
A multi-flow stopper for liquids, including a part with means of attachment to a gland of a container, the part forming a main body of the stopper, two flow outlet openings of unequal size, so as to define a large and a small opening. The two openings form an integral part of the part forming the main body of the stopper.
APPARATUS AND PROCESS FOR DISPENSING A MEASURED QUANTITY OF LIQUID
An apparatus and process for dispensing a measured quantity of liquid from a container. The apparatus includes a pour chamber having a dam, a spout, a vent, and a timer that is independent of flow in the pour chamber.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CONTROLLED TRANSFER OF FLUID
Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to caps, closures, seals, and containers, and control of flow of fluids. Certain embodiments can be used with fluids related to machinery, for instance, engine oil, brake fluid, coolant, transmission fluid, and power steering fluid. Certain embodiments of the present disclosure effectively hold and transfer a fluid or a fluid substance, further being able to open, close, and regulate fluid flow. Embodiments include a single piece tubular component that includes a cap interiorly attached to such tubular component with ribs, and a container having a tapered end. In certain embodiments, a nozzle collar having a tapered end is adapted to attach to a container.
CLOSURE SYSTEM FOR CONTAINER
A closure system for a container. The system includes a closure configured to couple with a finish of the container to close an opening of the container defined by the finish. A tamper ring is removably attached to the closure. Upon removing the closure from cooperation with the finish of the container, the tamper ring detaches from the closure and remains on a neck of the container.
