Closure for a package
A closure comprises a polymeric top wall portion, a polymeric annular skirt portion, a polymeric liner and a polymeric disc. The polymeric annular skirt portion depends from the polymeric top wall portion. The annular skirt portion includes an internal thread formation for mating engagement with an external thread formation of a container. The polymeric disc has an exterior surface. The polymeric disc is located between the polymeric top wall portion and the polymeric liner. The polymeric disc includes a plurality of channels formed therein. The plurality of channels assists in allowing liquid to travel on the exterior surface of the polymeric disc and between the polymeric annular skirt portion and an external finish of a container.
RECEPTACLE AND AUXILIARY CONTENTS HOLDING DEVICE
A receptacle includes a receptacle body including a space in which first contents is held and a coupling portion having an inlet, a receptacle stopper coupled to the coupling portion of the receptacle body, and a second contents holding portion including a holding part having an open upper part and holding second contents, a support portion located to surround the holding part to support the holding part, and a mounting portion connected to the support portion and coupled to an upper end of the coupling portion. The receptacle stopper includes: a cap portion, a protrusion located on an inner side surface of the cap portion and including first and second protrusion parts located to be spaced apart from an upper end of the cap portion by different distances, and a sealing portion located between an inner upper surface of the cap portion and the protrusion and sealing the holding part.
COVERING DEVICE FOR A DRINKING VESSEL
A covering device (1) for a drinking vessel (2) such as a bottle, includes an attachment member (3) for attaching the covering device (1) to the drinking vessel (2), a cover member (4) for covering a drinking opening (5) of the drinking vessel (2) and an operating mechanism (6) for displacing the cover member (4) from a closed position into an open position and from an open position into a closed position. The operating mechanism (6) includes an operating element (19) such as an operating lever. The operating element (19) which may be configured as an operating weight (7) is coupled to the cover member (4) via a transmission (8).
Mason jar valved-lid component and kit for use in fermentation
The present disclosure is directed to a lid component for use with a jar and a band. The jar and band may be a mason jar and a band for a mason jar. The lid component is made of an air-impermeable material and is dimensioned and configured to be releasably attachable to the jar by the band and to seal a wide mouth opening of the jar in an air-tight manner. The lid component comprises a one-way valve adapted to allow gas to escape from the jar while, at the same time, prevent air from entering the jar, when the lid component is releasably attached to the jar. The one-way valve comprises a bottom opening and a protruding top wall. The lid component further comprises a sealing wall that extends radially outwardly from the bottom opening. The sealing wall is substantially flat.
Container closure
Closure for a container mouth, the closure comprising: a cover portion (18) for covering at least a portion of the container mouth; a fastener portion (20) for engaging the container for fastening the closure to the container; and a peelable bracing portion (22) extending generally in a circumferential direction of or around an axis of the closure, the bracing portion overlapping at least partly the cover portion and the fastener portion, and configured to reinforce the closure by bearing, as shear stress at an interface between the bracing portion and at least one of the cover portion and fastener portion, support force in or between one or both of the cover portion and the fastener portion.
Device for protecting and preserving a substance in a container
Disclosed is a device for protecting and preserving a substance in a container. The device may include a plurality of overlapping sectors capable of rotating about a pivot point such that the device has a substantially disc shape when fully expanded and a substantially pie shape when partially expanded; and a lip defining an outer diameter of the device when fully expanded. The outer diameter of the device is equal to or greater than an inner diameter of the inner surface of the container.

Container with heat-sealed composite plastic and metal screw closure
An assembly of a container and a closure. The container has a rim defining an upper sealing surface formed of a heat-sealable material, and an external screw thread extending helically along an outer surface at a location spaced below the rim. The closure includes a screw cap assembled with a separately formed disk inserted in the cap, the closure defining an internal screw thread for attaching the closure to the container when the closure is rotated in a first direction. The disk is constructed of a laminated metal having an upper metal layer and a lower heat-sealable layer affixed to an underside of the metal layer. A heat seal between the heat-sealable layer of the disk and the upper sealing surface of the rim affixes the disk to the rim such that the disk seals closed the open top end of the container.
CONTAINER WITH A LID ATTACHED TO A THREADED CLOSURE MECHANISM
The container with a lid attached to a threaded closure mechanism includes a receptacle having a mouth surrounded by a thread, a lid, a sealing ring and a closure mechanism formed by a disc with a hollow interior and a perimetral tubular skirt provided with an engagement configuration complementary to the thread of the receptacle. The closure mechanism surrounds the lid and holds it against the mouth of the receptacle by means of a threaded attachment between the engagement configuration of the closure mechanism and the thread of the receptacle, assuring proper hermetic closure of the lid with the receptacle in cooperation with the sealing ring and a retainer element connected to the closure mechanism to constrict an insertion passage thereof thereby retaining the lid into the closure mechanism.
