Packaging for a transparent liquid
Packaging comprising: a bottle at least partially transparent, a lighting system placed on the bottle in such a way as to emit a beam of light in a direction of lighting parallel to a central axis of the bottle, a covering film covering at least part of an exterior surface of a lateral wall of the bottle, the covering film comprising at least locally a decoration designed to be back-lit by the beam of light spreading through the liquid, the decoration comprising a plurality of decorative zones, each decorative zone having a degree of illumination, the plurality of decorative zones comprising at least one first contrast zone and at least one second contrast zone, the first contrast zone having a degree of illumination at least 5% lower than the degree of illumination of the second contrast zone.
Container and lid with audible and tactile feedback
The present invention relates to a container (10) and a lid (12) for food products, wherein the lid produces audible and tactile feedback when the container is closed with the lid. The invention further relates to a method for forming a lid for engagement with a container for food products. According to a first aspect of the invention, a container with a lid comprises a body with a neck (14) surrounding an opening; at least one thread (20) on the neck; at least one thread (16) on the lid for engaging the at least one thread on the neck; and an engagement mechanism (18) on the lid to secure the lid to the body when the lid is in a fully engaged position. Audible and tactile feedback are produced when the lid moves into the fully engaged position.
Smart cap for a liquid container
A smart cap for use with a liquid container and a system therefor is disclosed herein. The components of the smart cap preferably comprise a micro motor, a microcontroller, a wireless transceiver (BTLE), a lithium ion battery, LED indicators, a waterproof rated charging port, a nozzle quick connect, a controllable valve, a touch sensor, a thermal sensor, a physical button, an impeller, and a cap housing.
Thermochromatic Label System and Method
A thermochromatic label system for providing an indication of a temperature condition of contents of an inner volume of a vessel. A thermochromatic label is founded on a facestock with one or more thermochromatic images disposed on a thermochromatic display surface and an adhesive surface. Plural labels can be retained on a release liner, and the adhesive can be a removable adhesive to permit selective application and removal of the label. A lid of a vessel has a preconfigured label retention structure, such as a raised protuberance that defines a sub-volume, for retaining the thermochromatic label. The facestock and the label retention structure can be contoured with corresponding three-dimensional shapes. The three-dimensional shapes could be conical shapes, each with a lower portion, a mid-portion, and a peak portion, and first, second, and third thermochromatic images can be disposed on the respective portions of the facestock.
Filter-gasket assembly with seal and placement indicator for sterilization rigid container
Sterilization packaging systems with features for sealing a volume against an ingress of contaminants are provided. Such features include a sealing assembly including a gasket and a sheet of filter material. The sealing assembly seals a lid to a seal rim of a base. The gasket has an upper surface, outer edge, and inner edge. The upper surface of the gasket comprises a first row of alternating protrusions and indentations and a second row of alternating protrusions and indentations that define a channel therebetween. The sheet of filter material extends from an inner edge of the gasket. The gasket completely surrounds the sheet of filter material, wherein the indentations and channel facilitate delivery of a sterilization agent through the filter material. A sterilization assembly including a lid having a plurality of protrusions in its upper surface in conjunction with a gasket having a smooth upper surface is also provided.
SOUND EMITTING BOTTLE CAP
The present disclosure describes speech or sound-emulating bottle cap apparatuses and systems and methods for manufacture thereof. It will be understood that a bottle cap prohibits gases from escaping a pressurized bottle. Ordinarily, when the cap is removed from the bottle, the escaping gas will emit a sound, but the sound carries no discernable meaning, cognizable message or recognizable sound (aside from gas simply escaping a pressurized container). Embodiments described herein harness gas escaping from a bottle (when the cap is removed) to generate a discernable meaning, cognizable message or otherwise recognizable sound. The sound-chamber may be wrapped or twisted into a coil or helix shape (in addition or as an alternative to miniaturizing it). A coil or helix shape permits recovery of the original sound quality of the initially modeled sound-chamber, resulting in a sound-emitting cap-chamber removably or permanently coupled to a bottle cap or bottle as described herein.
TATTOO BOTTLE WITH SECURE LID
A tattoo ink bottle is provided having an openable sanitary cap that is configured for one-handed operation and a tight closed seal.
LOCKING SLED SECURITY DEVICE
An example security device includes a tag and a sled. The tag may include a security element, a receiving recess, a locking channel adjacent to the receiving recess, and a slug biased towards a sled facing surface of the tag. The sled may include a base having a tab extending therefrom, an adhesive applied to a product facing surface of the base for applying the sled to a product, and a cavity in the base having an opening on a tag facing surface of the base
AGED SPIRIT PRESERVATION SYSTEMS AND DEVICES
Many embodiments described herein prevent an aged spirit from degrading due to the oxygen trapped in the headspace without the use of a pump. The aged spirit preservation system may have a cork with an open top, an open bottom, and a channel extending from the open top to the open bottom. The cork may be sized couple to an internal portion of a bottle. The system may even include a sealing device coupled to an outer portion of the cork between the open top and the open bottom. Additionally, the system may include a replaceable cartridge containing an adsorbent media, iron, a salt, and a color-changing indicator. Oxygen from the bottle may be allowed to enter the cartridge and react with the iron via a non-reversible reaction, thereby preventing the degradation of the spirit.
System and method to monitor and report condition of a consumable product
A system and method are provided to monitor, store and communicate data on parameters of a consumable product stored in a sealed container. In one embodiment, the system includes a flexible wrap affixed to an outer surface of a neck of the container. The wrap includes a first laser-detector pair to pass laser light through a headspace inside the container to reflect from a first reflector affixed to the outer surface of the container to non-invasively sense first parameters of the consumable product. The system further includes a flexible label affixed directly to the outer surface of a body of the container, the label including a second laser-detector pair to pass laser light through a liquid inside the container to non-invasively sense second parameters of the consumable product. The system generally further includes an interrogator to communicate with the flexible wrap and flexible label to access the data.
