Closure with tamper band and spout
10351315 · 2019-07-16 · ·

A tamper evident closure and spout are provided. The closure includes a tamper-indicating band extending from a central wall. Formed about the tamper band are one or more spout engagement structures. Also provided about the tamper band may be one or more knuckles that assist in distorting the tamper band upon initial removal of the closure from a spout so as to increase the ease with which the tamper band can be identified as having been broken upon visual inspection by a user. The spout includes a wall portion and a central channel extending through the wall portion between an inlet opening and an outlet opening. Located about an outer portion of the spout are one or more tamper band engagement structures configured to engage a tamper band and which assist in breaking and distorting a tamper band upon initial removal of a closure from the spout.

Container time indicator with a device for inhibiting the removal of the cap
10315812 · 2019-06-11 ·

A time programmable container that includes a base, a reversible lid, and a spacer positioned intermediate the lid and the base. The spacer is positionable in a select one of a plurality of positions on the base. The spacer and the base contain time indicia such that each of the plurality of positions that the spacer can be placed upon the base corresponds to a different of time indication. The reversible lid includes a cavity on the bottom surface of a lip which mates with a tab on the spacer, such that when the spacer is placed upon the base and the lid is threaded onto the base, the tab secures prevents the removal of the lid from the base without first removing the tab from the cavity, and when the lid is reversed, the tab does not inhibit the removal of the lid from the base.

Tamper-evident closure
12006110 · 2024-06-11 · ·

A tamper-evident closure containing an outer cap with a sidewall and a top wall having a tamper-evident member connected by a frangible structure; an inner cap with a sidewall and a top wall, coaxially nested in the outer cap; a protruding element between the top walls; a first engagement mechanism for driving the outer cap and the inner cap upon application of a rotational torque in a screwing direction; a second engagement mechanism for driving the outer cap and the inner cap upon application of a rotational torque in an unscrewing direction; and a third engagement mechanism for breaking the frangible structure upon rotational movement of the outer and inner caps.

Tamper-evident closure

A tamper-evident closure for a container. The closure comprises a first portion including inner and outer parts, and a second portion. The outer part is rotatable relative to the inner part from a first position in which at least part of the first and second portions are adjacent each other to a second position in which there is a gap therebetween. The first portion comprises a locking mechanism for irreversibly locking the closure in the second position upon first opening so that the gap cannot be closed, in which the first portion comprises a compressible stopper for sealing the second portion and/or the container. A tamper-evident closure in combination with a container.

AEROSOL DISPENSER WITH VALVE ANTI-REMOVAL FEATURE

An aerosol container for an aerosol dispenser. The aerosol container has an outer container. The outer container has a closed end bottom and a longitudinally opposed threaded open neck. The open neck has one or more pawls or ratchets disposed near the neck. The pawls or ratchets allow a complementary valve to be threaded onto the neck. The valve has complementary ratchets or pawls. The ratchet and pawl combination co-acts to impede or even prevent reverse rotation and subsequent removal of the valve. The outer container may be made from a preform having the ratchets and/or pawls integrally molded as part of the injection molding process. A valve having a housing may have ratchets and or pawls integrally molded as part of the injection molding process.

CLOSURE FOR CONTAINERS WITH EVIDENCE OF FIRST OPENING

The present invention relates to a cap-type closure for containers comprising means for showing evidence of a first opening, the closure preferably being coupled to the mouth of a container. The present invention is characterized by a closure comprising an inner cap and an outer cap interconnected to one another so as to allow a spacing to be set between the two once the first opening of the closure takes place.

COMPRESSION SEAL CONTAINER WITH WINDOW

A compression seal container includes a base with a cover, the cover including a selectively seal to engage with the upper rim of the base. The cover includes a core plate with a cylindrical central column and mounts a peripheral gasket. A slide plate mounts on the central column, and has a periphery to engage the upper rim of the base. A grip plate also mounts on the central column. Threaded engagement of the grip plate to the central column ensures that rotation of the grip plate moves the core plate toward or away from the slide plate to cause or release compression of the gasket. The closed outer end of the central core is transparent to create a window to view contents. The threads include a pawl and detent combination to create tactile indication of the extent of operable rotation of the grip plate.

Endoscope valve container

A single use container (10, 40, 70) for holding a plurality of endoscope valves during a cleaning and disinfection procedure defines a plurality of chambers (34, 64, 84) which are isolated from each other and configured to receive a single valve such that a valve in one chamber cannot contact a valve in another chamber. A plurality of apertures (36, 58, 86) in each chamber allow fluid flow therethrough. A closure device (14, 44, 92) is operable to close each chamber (34, 64, 84). An attachment device (38, 68, 77) is configured for attaching the container (10, 40, 70) to an endoscope and to prevent detachment without breaking of the attachment device (38, 68, 77).

Safety capsule for containers

A safety capsule for containers, comprising: an external cap (2), provided with coupling means for the coupling thereof to the neck (C) of a container; an internal element (3), located inside the external cap (2) and configured to be associated, in a removable manner, with an opening (A) of the container; connecting means (4, 5), interposed between the external cap (2) and the internal element (3), and structured so as to leave the external cap (2) and the internal element (3) unconstrained with respect to a movement for opening or removal of the external cap (2) between a closed position and an intermediate position, and solidly constrain the external cap (2) and the internal element (3) with respect to the movement for opening or removal of the external cap (2) between the intermediate position and an opening position.
