Manually Openable Recyclable Package
The present invention is directed to a thermoplastic package includes a tray and a lidding film both of which are suitable for recycling into a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) recycling stream. Packages according to the present invention comprise predominantly amorphous polyethylene terephthalate (APET) relative to the total weight of the package. Another object of the present invention is to provide a package especially for retail display for containing a food such as fresh produce, cheeses and meats, and/or non-food product. Still another object of the present invention is to provide a manually openable package which includes a tray peelable heat sealed to a lidding film laminate.
OBTURATION DEVICE FOR RECEPTACLE COMPRISING A SYSTEM FOR CHECKING VIOLATION THEREOF
An obturation device (10) intended to obturate an opening (12) of a container (11) comprises a checking system configured to detect any extraction of the obturation device (10) from the opening (12), particularly in case of violation of the obturation device (10). The checking system has at least one sensor (13) determining the value taken by at least one physical quantity representative of a behavior of one of the parts of the obturation device (10) forming a support for the sensor (13), and an electronic processing unit (14) receiving the value of the physical quantity determined by the sensor (13) and modifying a state variable when the value exceeds a predetermined threshold. The modification of the state variable is determined by the electronic processing unit (14). The invention also relates to a container (11) whose opening is obturated by such an obturation device (10).
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR INDICATING TAMPERING OF A CONTAINER
A container, such as a life vest box secured to a seat within an internal cabin of an aircraft, includes a housing defining an internal compartment for storing one or more items, such as a life vest. A door is moveably coupled to the housing. The door is moveable between a closed position in which the internal compartment is closed, and an open position in which the internal compartment is accessible. A system for indicating tampering includes a tamper indicator coupled to one or both of the housing or the door. The tamper indicator is moveable between a stowed position and a tamper-indicating position.
Single-use food preparation container assemblies, systems and methods
A single-use product preparation container assembly including a cup body and a cup closure assembly configured for removable operative engagement with the cup body, the cup closure assembly including a mechanically externally rotatably drivable rotary product engagement assembly for engaging an at least partially liquefiable product located within the cup body and a liquid retaining chamber configured to receive liquid leaked from the cup body via the mechanically externally rotatably drivable rotary product engagement assembly and including a vent allowing egress of air from the liquid retaining chamber.
Closure for a thin-walled packaging provided with a spout
A closure for a spout of a flexible thin-walled packaging is provided. The closure has a base body having an irreversibly yielding guarantee wall, a cap assembly having a cap and a guarantee tab, at least one breakable bridge, and a flexible hinge that joins the base body to the cap assembly. The at least one breakable bridge, in an intact closed configuration, is integral and joins the guarantee tab to the guarantee wall.
Tamper evident closure
A tamper-evident closure for a container comprises a shell having a break line along which it is separated during a first opening of the closure. The shell further comprises a first shell portion on one side of the break line, a second shell portion on the other side of the break line, and a distortable portion, which is distorted during the first opening of the closure. The distortable portion is spaced from and separate to the break line.
Closure for container
A canister includes a container and a closure. The container is formed to include a product-storage region and an open mouth that opens into the product-storage region. The closure is configured to couple to the container to close the open mouth.
Truly tamper-evident container
A tamper-evident container includes a tape (46). The tape is designed to break apart when the lid is opened for the first time. In some embodiments, a cap and lid are clear and see-through which allows a customer to see if the tape is torn apart and know whether the product has been tampered with. Some embodiments also include at least one screw thread (84) on a body neck (50) on the top of the container body (10) and on an inner wall (60) of a container cap (12). A removable gummy glue (62) or other adhesion mechanism is adhered on top of a mouth cover (66). When the container cap is unscrewed for the first time, the gummy glue is designed to indicate tampering. For example, the glue could be stretched, come apart, or separate from the mouth cover, or the underside of the cap, or distort an image that was on the gummy glue, such as a manufacturer's logo, name, trademark, or design, or leave an image from the mouth cover on the gummy glue, visually indicating that the container has been opened at least once.
Cap
A cap to be attached to an extraction port of a container includes a cap main body detached from the container at time of opening, a ring remained on a side on which the container exists at the time of opening, and a passage portion formed separately from the cap main body and provided in the cap main body and the ring. The passage portion includes a leg portion provided in the ring and the cap main body. At least an upper portion of the leg portion provided in the cap main body and a middle portion between the upper portion and a lower portion of the leg portion provided in the ring communicate with each other. When the middle portion of the leg portion is broken, a state of a detection member provided in the passage portion changes.
Container with a medal
A container may include a wall and a medal retained to the wall by container material of integral one-piece construction with the wall and extending over at least a portion of the medal. The medal and one or more portions of the container adjacent the medal have a shared unique appearance. A package may include a flaccid loop coupled between a closure and a container to which the closure is coupled, and a medal coupled to the flaccid loop.
