INJECTION MOLDING METHOD USING PEEK MATERIAL AND MOLDED ITEM
20180236702 · 2018-08-23 · ·

An injection molding method for a molded item uses a polyether ether ketone (PEEK) material, wherein a filling peak pressure is 40 MPa to 150 MPa. The PEEK material may be injected to form the molded item from a runner member through a multipoint gate and then optionally a subrunner. The runner member and the subrunner may be connected to each other by a film gate. A stretching processing may be applied after the PEEK material is injected to increase a length 1.2 to 5 fold and increase a diameter to 0.2 mm to 1.0 mm. The stretching processing may use an in-mold stretching method.

BUNGEE BALL DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
20180179780 · 2018-06-28 ·

A bungee ball device includes a ball and a cord loop having a pair of cord segments. The ball has a flat part on it where the cord loop segments extend therefrom. The cord segment has at least one flat surface that engages the flat part of the ball when the bungee ball device is in use. The cord can include a tab extending from a portion thereof. The tab makes it easier to grasp the cord and stretch it to allow the ball to be removed from the space created by the cord segments and release the bungee ball device from its secured position. The ball and cord loop have a one-piece molded construction. The flat part on the ball and flat surface on the cord segment can be optional.

Compression cord sleeve

A compression cord sleeve bundles a flexible elongated cord, such as cables, electrical cords, or wires, for storage or transportation. The compression cord sleeve includes a tubular sleeve body and a handle. The tubular sleeve body compresses around the flexible elongated cord in order to prevent the flexible elongated cord from unraveling or uncoiling. The tubular sleeve body is manipulated around a coiled or wrapped flexible elongated cord such that the tubular sleeve body compresses the coiled or wrapped flexible elongated cord radially. The handle allows a user to grasp the compression cord sleeve for ease of transportation.
