Within each pocket (8), at least one top sheet flap distal panel (28D, 30D, 32D) is adhesively secured to the bottom sheet flap distal panel (50D).

Expandable container

A container, movable between collapsed and expanded conditions, has a plurality of walls connected between bottom and top structures. A first wall of the plurality of walls includes first and second sections that connect together at a fold line about which the sections are rotatable between first wall collapsed and expanded conditions. The first section is connected to the bottom structure and the second section is connected to the top structure. The first wall is expandable by rotation of the first section relative to the second section in a first direction of rotation about the fold line from the first wall collapsed condition and into engagement with an abutment at the first wall expanded condition which arrests further rotation of the first section relative to the second section. The first wall is maintained in the first wall expanded condition by a load applied to the first wall.

FOOD BOX CONTAINER AND METHOD

The invention is a food box container and a method for operating same, the food box container comprises an open top box body pivotally connected to double-hinged top, the open top box body further defining a hollow interior configured to receive and hold food; the double-hinged top has a first hinge and second hinge that have a spaced-apart and parallel orientation to one another, the first hinge pivotally sections the double-hinged lid into a support panel and a top lid, the second hinge pivotally connects the support panel to the open top box body; the support panel further defines one or more removable caps which when opened from the support panel reveal support apertures to receive other containers of drinks, condiments and the like; and the top lid controls a second access to the hollow interior that is smaller than an access as provided by the double-hinged top.

Packaging for a multipart landscape lighting unit

A packaging system protects and retains all the components of a lighting unit with a resilient binding unit. The packaging system is used for a lighting unit with a first component having a first elongate member and a second component having a second elongate member. It also includes a carrier base with a first and second aperture used to receive and hold the first and second elongate member at a first longitudinal location. The second aperture is located proximate to the first aperture. The packaging also includes a resilient binding element for holding the first and second components with a first and second ring to receive and hold the first and second elongate member at a second longitudinal location, where the second longitudinal location being spaced a distance from the first longitudinal location. The binding element is used to inhibit the first and second components from being longitudinally moved relative to each other.

A system and method are provided for palletless shipment of gas cylinder arrays. A three-dimensional array of gas cylinders is formed from a plurality of vertically-stacked two-dimensional subarrays. First elongated voids extend through the array in a width direction at a first handle elevation. Second elongated voids extend through the array in a depth direction at a second handle elevation. The first and second elongated voids are bilaterally bounded by handle portions of adjacent gas cylinders, and vertically bounded by upper and lower surfaces of surrounding cylinders. Pairs of tunnel elements are disposed within respective elongated voids and are each configured to releasably receive a corresponding forklift tong. Vertically-disposed pillars may be provided to increase the rigidity and load distribution of the system. Flaps may radiate from the pillars to minimize impact and abrasion between adjacent cylinders during shipment. Key system components may be inexpensively formed from recyclable, lightweight materials.
