Bundle of tubular and/or rod shaped glass articles, method for its fabrication as well as for unpacking said bundle
A bundle of tubular and/or rod-shaped glass articles is provided that includes a longest dimension, a plurality of layers (N.sub.L) of the glass articles, and a thread-like element. The longest dimension extends in a first direction. The glass articles in each layer are arranged side by side in a second direction. The plurality of layers are arranged side by side in a third direction. The first, second, and third directions being perpendicular to one another. The thread-like element is around two of the glass articles in at least one layer so that the two glass articles are spaced apart.
Building panel sleeve packaging
Described herein is a packaging system comprising a sleeve having a plurality of sides, an open top, and an open bottom, each of the sides having an inner surface, an inner liner located on the inner surfaces of the sides of the sleeve, the inner liner having an inner surface that defines a cavity, a plurality of building panels located in the cavity, and an outer wrapping surrounding at least a portion of the sleeve and at least a portion of the plurality of building panels.
BUNDLE OF TUBULAR AND/OR ROD-SHAPED GLASS ARTICLES, METHOD FOR ITS FABRICATION AS WELL AS FOR UNPACKING SAID BUNDLE
A method for unpacking a bundle of tubular and/or rod-shaped glass articles has the steps of holding the bundle in a locked position and pulling a thread-like element that is wrapped around the glass articles so that the thread-like element is withdrawn from the bundle. The bundle includes a longest dimension, layers (N.sub.L) of the glass articles, and the thread-like element. The longest dimension extends in a first direction. The glass articles in each layer are arranged side by side in a second direction. The layers are arranged side by side in a third direction. The first, second, and third directions are perpendicular to one another. The thread-like element is around two of the glass articles in at least one layer so that the two glass articles are spaced apart. The thread-like element has a cross section between at least 0.25 mm and at most 4.0 mm.
Sealed Package
A shell for holding one or more products. The shell can comprise a base layer and a barrier layer extending along at least a portion of a face of the base layer, a central wall for receiving at least a portion of the one or more products on an upper side of the central wall, and a stiffening structure extending at least partially around the central wall. The stiffening structure can be configured for resisting bending of at least a portion of the shell toward the upper side of the central wall. The stiffening structure can comprise at least a recess extending along at least a portion of the central wall.
SHIPPING CONTAINER FOR ROLLED GOODS
The present invention relates to a shipping container for rolled goods, particularly relatively heavy and rigid rolled products such as high count rolls of trash bags. In at least one embodiment, the shipping container may be used for shipping a product enclosure containing a pair of rolled trash bags. The shipping container can include a pair of opposing side reinforcing trays to prevent damage to the shipping container when in transit. The invention can conserve the amount of materials used and reduce the shipping weight of the container. The shipping container can further include a flexible overwrap to maintain the reinforcement trays on the opposing side ends of the product enclosure and to provide for additional reinforcement to the shipping container.
Center-pull bag dispenser without separate end-forms
An improved package for core-less rolls of bags provides a shrink-wrap film around the bag having differential shrinkage to better accommodate the roll form.
TRAY WITH BASE, DOME AND BRIM
The tray includes a base, the base including first sidewalls that are substantially cylindrically shaped, a first upper surface on an upper end of the base, a dome, the dome extending upwardly and away from the first upper surface, the first upper surface and the dome closing the upper end, a first brim, the first brim radially extending from a first lower end of the base.
