FOLDABLE CONTAINER
A foldable container comprises a base and two pairs of side plates. The side plates are mounted on the base by means of a hinge mechanism in manner of being foldable relative to the base. The hinge mechanism is provided with an elastic reset structure, thereby the hinge structure on the side plates moves downwards synchronously in the courses that the side plates overturn from a folding state to an upright state. The hinge structure solves the problem of delay in the falling of a hinge in the prior art, is well adapted to the operation habits of various users, and is simple in structure and skillful in the concept.
HEAVY-DUTY FOLDABLE STORAGE BIN
A heavy-duty, thermoplastic storage bin comprises a rectilinear base, spaced columns integrally formed with the base, and rectangular end and side panels that are foldable and erectable with respect to the base. At least one of the panels is detachable from the base. At least one central column having an integral portion protrudes upwardly from an upper base surface and is interlockable with a corresponding side panel at a bottom center region, for generating a sufficiently high sagging resisting moment. In a method for emptying the bin, the base is supported by a forklift, after the bin has been loaded with desired products. Following a material handling operation by the forklift, a tilting device carried by the forklift is operated to sufficiently change a disposition of the bin such that the loaded products are caused to be emptied while a side panel remains engaged with the central and corner columns.
Collapsible container
The object of this invention refers to a new foldable container in a parallelepiped shape with all sides being rigid and flat, fitted with an articulation and guiding system that permits folding of the sides over the base in an opposing manner through the turning of one end and sliding of the other towards the inside of the container, only through vertical movement of the roof. It permits the use of conventional doors half the width of the container. The improvements account for an innovative system that permits the folding/unfolding movement without substantially modifying certain characteristics of conventional ISO containers. The design caters for container versions where the doors are higher than the width of the container.
CONNECTING MECHANISM AND COLLAPSIBLE CONTAINER COMPRISING THE SAME
A connecting mechanism and a foldable container comprising the same. The foldable container comprises a top cover and a chassis. Top corner pieces (121) are disposed on four corners of the top cover. The top corner pieces are connected to a top cover corner column (122). Bottom corner pieces (111) are disposed on four corners of the chassis. The bottom corner pieces are connected to a chassis corner column (112). The connecting mechanism comprises a lifting lug (23) disposed on one of the top cover corner column (122) and the chassis corner column (112) and a locking plate (21) rotatably disposed on an outer end surface of the other one of the top cover corner column (122) and the chassis corner column (112). The locking plate (21) is provided with a hook portion fitted to the lifting lug. By means of the connecting mechanism, the top cover and the chassis can be automatically connected when the container is folded; and when the container is assembled, the operation efficiency is high and the inner size of the container is not affected.
Collapsible intermodal container stacker and a stacking system
The present invention provides a collapsible intermodal container stacker, comprising: a stationary section and a movable section disposed adjacent the stationary section. The stationary section comprises: a substantially upright planar face part; and a side wall securing device configured to operatively connect to a first side wall of a collapsible intermodal container and to secure the first side wall in use against or with respect to the planar face part. The movable section comprises: a track extending substantially perpendicular to the planar face part; a carriage engaged with and movable along the track, the carriage being configured to attach to a second side wall of the collapsible intermodal container in use; and a lower wall moving device configured to operatively connect to a lower wall of the collapsible intermodal container and to move the lower wall in use such that the lower wall pivots upwards. In use, the pivotal movement of the lower wall causes the second side wall to move towards the first side wall and thereby the carriage to move towards the stationary section. The present invention also provides a stacking system comprising: a collapsible intermodal container stacker according to the present invention; and a collapsible intermodal container comprising: first and second side walls, a lower wall hingedly attached to a lower end of the second side wall; and a link member hingedly attached to the lower wall and a lower end of the first side wall such that, when the lower wall pivots towards the second side wall, the link member causes the first and second side walls to move towards each other.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COLLAPSIBLE CONTAINER
A hollow container or box formed from a top panel, a first side panel, a second side panel, opposed end panels, and a base panel placing the container or box in a fully assembled position. The second side panel is releasably coupled to the base panel and each of the other panels are hingedly coupled to one another. Upon rotating each of the opposed end panels, the top panel, the first side panel, and the second side panel relative to one another and various axis rotation in combination with releasably detaching the second side panel from the base panel, the container or box is transitioned from a fully assembled position into a flat, parallel orientation, fully collapsed position.
System And Method For Locking Walls Of A Storage Container
The present invention discloses a novel apparatus and way for securing components of a shipping container. A locking mechanism is provided having a pin, spur gear and main gear coupled together and controlled by a handle such that rotation of the handle causes rotation of the gears and translation of a locking pin used to secure adjacent components of the container.
Collapsible intermodal container
A collapsible intermodal container includes first and second opposing side walls, the first side wall extending substantially parallel to the second side wall. Each of the first and second side walls having a lower end portion and an upper end portion. An upper wall is hingedly attached to the upper end portion of the first side wall, and a lower wall is hingedly attached to the lower end portion of the second side wall. In an erected configuration of the container, the upper wall extends from the upper end portion of the first side wall to the upper end portion of the second side wall, and the lower wall extends from the lower end portion of the second side wall to the lower end portion of the first side wall, such that the first and second side walls are spaced apart by a first distance to define an interior for storing goods. In a collapsed configuration of the container, the upper wall extends downwardly from the upper end portion of the first side wall to the lower end portion of the first side wall, and the lower wall extends upwardly from the lower end portion of the second side wall to the upper end portion of the second side wall.
Folding container
A foldable container adjustable between an unfolded condition and a folded condition comprises a roof panel and an opposing base panel, a front panel and an opposing door panel, and a right side panel and an opposing left side panel. Each of the front panel and the door panel is hingedly connected to only the roof panel. The right side panel is offset from the left side panel. A right side roof skirt is associated with the right side panel and an opposing left side roof skirt is associated with the left side panel. A height of the right side roof skirt is disparate from a height of the left side roof skirt. A first compound beam and a second compound beam are provided on opposing ends of the base panel. A height of the first compound beam is disparate from a height of the second compound beam.
Crate with retractable wall
A crate includes a base and a plurality of walls including a front wall. The front wall is movable between a retracted, open position and a closed position. In some embodiments, the front wall includes a frame, a first portion and a second portion. The first portion is hingeably connected to the frame and the second portion is hingeably connected to the first portion.
