DRY BULK TANK
A dry bulk tank and a method of carrying a load and discharging a load therefrom. The dry bulk tank includes a tank assembly having a first wall that bounds and defines a first compartment for carrying a load therein and a second wall spaced outwardly from at least a portion of the first wall; wherein a second compartment is defined between the first wall and the second wall. The tank assembly includes an air piping system that is selectively actuated to place the first compartment and the second compartment under substantially similar or substantially equal air pressure. In one example the air piping system pumps air into the first compartment and the second compartment. In another example the air piping system evacuates air from the first and second compartments.
MINIMIZING RELATIVE MOVEMENT BETWEEN COMPONENT PARTS OF A TANK TRAILER DURING LOADING AND UNLOADING
METHOD OF LOADING DRY BULK MATERIALS IN A DRY BULK TANK
METHOD OF UNLOADING DRY BULK MATERIALS FROM A DRY BULK TANK
A dry bulk tank and a method of carrying a load and discharging a load therefrom. The dry bulk tank includes a tank assembly having a first wall that bounds and defines a first compartment for carrying a load therein and a second wall spaced outwardly from at least a portion of the first wall; wherein a second compartment is defined between the first wall and the second wall. The tank assembly includes an air piping system that is selectively actuated to place the first compartment and the second compartment under equal air pressure. In one example the air piping system pumps air into the first compartment and the second compartment. In another example the air piping system evacuates air from the first and second compartments.
Framed Transport And Distribution Container For Bulk Granular Product And Method
A transport and distribution apparatus for bulk granular product in a container mounted to an ISO frame, the container having opposing side walls and opposing end walls closed by a cover that has hatch openings for providing entry of a bulk granular product into the container, with a plurality of chutes opposing the cover and each having a discharge port that connects through a valve to a product discharge conduit. An air supply provides an air flow through the product discharge conduit to discharge the bulk product from the apparatus and an air plenum disposed within the container proximate the cover communicates pressurized air into the container.
SILO DUST COLLECTION
Granular material flows out through the discharge opening of a silo and through a sealed housing to a target location. A vent opening in a top portion of the silo has a vent cover operative to selectively open and close the vent opening. When the vent cover is closed, air movement into an upper portion of the silo is prevented. A gate is operative to control a flow of granular material through the discharge opening. A vacuum conduit has a lower input end thereof connected to an interior of the housing, and an upper output end thereof located in an upper portion of an interior of the silo. Material flowing out of the silo creates a vacuum drawing dust from the housing up the vacuum conduit into the silo.
Dry bulk tank having an air piping system
Portable Fluid Storage System
A portable fluid storage system for use during frac jobs or other operations requiring storage of water or other fluids. The system comprises a lower chamber and an upper chamber sized to fit within the lower chamber. A lift system, such as screw jacks or rack and pinion gears, is disposed to move the lower chamber from a collapsed position to an extended position where the upper chamber is positioned above the lower chamber. A seal is disposed to engage the upper chamber and the lower chamber when the system is in the extended position. The upper chamber, the seal, and the lower chamber form a water tight compartment when the system is in the extended position. When positioned for use, the storage system is moved to the extended position to hold twice as much fluid as in the collapsed position.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PACKAGING AND TRANSPORTING BULK MATERIALS
Apparatus, systems, and methods for housing a bulk material within a flexible container are described herein. In some embodiments, a method includes maintaining a flexible container in an expanded configuration to define an interior volume. A bulk material is conveyed into the interior volume of the expanded flexible container. The flexible container is then moved from the expanded configuration to a collapsed configuration, such that movement of the bulk material within the interior volume is limited.
