Weighted Training Equipment
20190168057 · 2019-06-06 ·

Training equipment includes a hollow shaft having a sidewall defining an internal cavity and at least one polymer material filling at least a portion of the internal cavity. The polymer material may fill the entire internal cavity of the hollow shaft. The polymer material may be a visco-elastic polymer material or polyurethane. A spacer or a filler may fill at least a portion of the internal cavity. A method of making weighted training equipment with a hollow shaft having a sidewall defining an internal cavity may include injecting a curable composition into at least a portion of the internal cavity. The method may further include curing the curable composition into a polymer material.

Portable Exercise Apparatus

An exercise apparatus for use in for example a leg exercise comprises a pair of tracks extending in a respective longitudinal direction, each carrying in sliding movement therealong a limb receiving member for supporting a limb of the user. The tracks are interconnected by a bridging portion comprising a hinge which defines a central folding axis parallel to the respective longitudinal direction of each track, so that the tracks can be moved between an operating position in which the folding axis is located transversely between the tracks and a storage position in which the tracks are disposed so that upper load bearing surfaces are oriented so as to face one another. The apparatus also includes a resiliently deformable elastic band defining a limit in the range of sliding movement of each limb receiving member along the track so as to apply gradual resistance to the limb receiving member upon contact with same.

Athletic activity user experience and environment

User activity including both athletic activity (e.g., running, walking, etc.) and non-athletic activity (shopping, reading articles, etc.) may be monitored and tracked by an athletic monitoring and tracking device and service. The user activity may be used to award a user with an amount of virtual currency to encourage the user to continue various activities. In one example, users may use the virtual currency to purchase or otherwise acquire various products, services, discounts and the like. A user may track an amount currency earned and/or needed relative to an amount required to acquire a desired product or service. Additionally or alternatively, a visual appearance of a user device (e.g., a watch or athletic activity band) may change based on the user's activity level, an amount of virtual currency earned and the like.

GOLF CLUB HEADS AND METHODS TO MANUFACTURE GOLF CLUB HEADS

Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a front portion including a face portion, a rear portion, a toe portion, a heel portion, a top portion, and a bottom portion. The face portion may have a center portion, an outer wall portion surrounding the center portion, and a plurality of inner wall portions connecting the center portion to the outer wall portion. Other examples and embodiments may be described and claimed.

TRAINING DEVICE FOR SIMULATING SKI MOVEMENTS
20190022498 · 2019-01-24 · ·

A training apparatus/device has a frame (1) and two elongated pedal elements (2, 3), which are pivotally connected to the frame. The pedal elements are each provided with a footrest (4) and a pedal axle (5) and are, by means of a coupling element (10) connected to each other, so that the pedal elements, in use of the training apparatus, are held parallel to each other. Further, the training apparatus has a transmission mechanism (20), which is connected via the coupling element (10) with the pedal elements, as well as resistance mechanism (40), which is connected to the transmission mechanism and is driven by lateral displacement of the pedal elements. The coupling element (10) is formed by an elongated element, whereby near each of the ends of the pedal elements is connected to the pedal element axles via a ball joint. As a result, this makes the training device less susceptible to interference and compact.

APPARATUS FOR TESTING SKIS OR SNOWBOARDS
20190017884 · 2019-01-17 ·

The invention relates to a measuring arrangement (1) for testing skis and snowboards (2) or sports equipment with a planar contact surface, the arrangement comprising a sensor device, onto which at least one ski or snowboard (2) or piece of sports equipment can be laid. The sensor device has a sensor surface (3) which is predominantly sub-divided in a longitudinal and transverse direction into a plurality of sensor-surface sections (4), each of said sensor-surface sections (4) having at least one force sensor which outputs the force acting on the sensor-surface section (4) as an electrical signal that is evaluated by a computer unit (5).

SPORTS BOOT FOR THE PURSUIT OF SKI SPORT

The invention relates to a sports boot for the pursuit of ski sport. The sports boot comprises a sensor arrangement (29) having several pressure-sensitive sensors (9a-d) in a distributed layout which are respectively connected or can be connected via cable connections (17a-d) to an electronic signal processing device. At least one first sensor (9a) is positioned in a forefoot portion (31) of the sole arrangement (30) of the sports boot and at least one second sensor (9b) is positioned in a heel portion (32) of the sole arrangement (30). A first cable connection (17a) between the at least one first sensor (9a) and the electronic signal processing device and a second cable connection (17b) between the at least one second sensor (9b) and the electronic signal processing device are respectively starting from the at least one first sensor (9a) and from the at least one second sensor (9b) and each run in the direction towards a sole center region (34) of the sole arrangement (30). The first and second cable connection (17a, 17b) then run out from the sole center region (34) via the heel portion (35) in the direction towards the upper boot portion (28) in which the signal processing device is positioned or can be positioned.
