Apparatus for testing skis or snowboards
The invention relates to a measuring arrangement (1) for testing skis and snowboards (2) or sports equipment with a planar contact surface, the arrangement comprising a sensor device, onto which at least one ski or snowboard (2) or piece of sports equipment can be laid. The sensor device has a sensor surface (3) which is predominantly sub-divided in a longitudinal and transverse direction into a plurality of sensor-surface sections (4), each of said sensor-surface sections (4) having at least one force sensor which outputs the force acting on the sensor-surface section (4) as an electrical signal that is evaluated by a computer unit (5).
Multi-axial unidirectional power transmission system
A multi-axial unidirectional power transmission system includes a transmission unit and a resistance unit. The transmission unit includes a first main shaft and a transmission wheel provided on the first main shaft. The resistance unit includes a second main shaft and a damping wheel mounted on the second main shaft. The two transmission wheels and the damping wheel can be placed flat on the body since they are mounted on different main shafts, thereby making the whole plane of the multi-axis unidirectional power transmission system consistent, thus achieving the effects of space saving, convenient storage and convenient transportation.
Resistive skate device
A resistive training device to be worn by a user can include a first and second skate device configured to be worn on the user's feet. The first and second skate device can include a first plurality of attachment mechanisms. The first plurality of attachment mechanisms can include an interior attachment mechanism; an exterior attachment mechanism; and a rear attachment mechanism. The resistive training device can also include a belt configured to be worn around the user's waist. The belt can include comprising a second plurality of attachment mechanisms which can include a left hip attachment mechanism; a right hip attachment mechanism; and a tailbone attachment mechanism. The resistive training device can also include a plurality of resistive elements. Each resistive element can be removably connected to one of the first plurality of attachment mechanisms and one of the second plurality of attachment mechanisms.
Athletic Activity User Experience and Environment
User activity including both athletic activity (e.g., running, walking, etc.) and non-athletic activity (shopping, reading articles, etc.) may be monitored and tracked by an athletic monitoring and tracking device and service. The user activity may be used to award a user with an amount of virtual currency to encourage the user to continue various activities. In one example, users may use the virtual currency to purchase or otherwise acquire various products, services, discounts and the like. A user may track an amount currency earned and/or needed relative to an amount required to acquire a desired product or service. Additionally or alternatively, a visual appearance of a user device (e.g., a watch or athletic activity band) may change based on the user's activity level, an amount of virtual currency earned and the like.
METHOD AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEM FOR SUPPORTING A PERSON IN THE PURSUIT OF SKI SPORT
A method and an electronic system for supporting a person in the pursuit of ski sport detects the current athletic performance ability or skill values of the person exercising sports using an electronic detection system that includes a portable mobile terminal, in particular a smartphone. An evaluation of the condition information or actual data provided by the electronic detection system using a computer-implemented evaluator and a determination of a current level of performance ability or skill of the person are carried out. Then, a selection or preselection of instructional material from instructional materials accessible or available to the computer-implemented evaluator is carried out by the computer-implemented evaluator taking into consideration or account the level of performance ability or skill of the person determined automatically or semi automatically. Automatically or semi-automatically selected instructional material is then immediately output on the mobile terminal portable by the person exercising sports.
Sports boot for the pursuit of ski sport
The invention relates to a sports boot for the pursuit of ski sport. The sports boot comprises a sensor arrangement (29) having several pressure-sensitive sensors (9a-d) in a distributed layout which are respectively connected or can be connected via cable connections (17a-d) to an electronic signal processing device. At least one first sensor (9a) is positioned in a forefoot portion (31) of the sole arrangement (30) of the sports boot and at least one second sensor (9b) is positioned in a heel portion (32) of the sole arrangement (30). A first cable connection (17a) between the at least one first sensor (9a) and the electronic signal processing device and a second cable connection (17b) between the at least one second sensor (9b) and the electronic signal processing device are respectively starting from the at least one first sensor (9a) and from the at least one second sensor (9b) and each run in the direction towards a sole center region (34) of the sole arrangement (30). The first and second cable connection (17a, 17b) then run out from the sole center region (34) via the heel portion (35) in the direction towards the upper boot portion (28) in which the signal processing device is positioned or can be positioned.
Exercise slidermat
The exercise slidermat comprises a stationary saucer and sliding structure. The stationary saucer is a pedestal upon which the sliding structure is placed. The sliding structure sits the stationary saucer such that the sliding structure slides along the stationary saucer. The sliding structure is a horizontal surface upon which an exerciser performs training exercises intended to improve the footwork for a given sport. The sliding structure is moved across the stationary saucer such that the sliding structure is moving across the stationary saucer while the exerciser is performing the training exercises. The action of combining the motion of the sliding structure with the physical training causes the exerciser to perform the training exercises while visually and tactilely sensing not only the motion of the training exercise but the forces and momentum applied to the sliding structure during the training period.
Smart device
An Internet of Thing (IoT) device includes a camera coupled to a processor; and a wireless transceiver coupled to the processor. Blockchain smart contracts can be used with the device to facilitate secure operation.
Gloves with a cut out portion and methods to manufacture gloves with a cut out portion
Embodiments of a glove including a cut out portion and a reinforcing panel are described herein. In many embodiments, a glove comprises a glove body with a dorsal side, a palmar side, a plurality of finger portions, a thumb portion, and a wrist portion. The wrist portion defines a glove opening in communication with an interior portion defined within the glove body. A reinforcing panel is secured on an outer surface of a palm portion adjacent the wrist portion of the glove body. A cut out portion defines an opening formed through the reinforcing panel and in communication with the interior portion of the glove body to minimize bunching up of the glove body. Other embodiments are also described herein.
