Method for contamination prevention in fluid storage tank requiring temperature control, and device therefor
A method is disclosed herein for detecting cracks of a fluid storage tank due to breakage of a wall of the fluid storage tank. In an example embodiment, the method includes positioning an enclosed pressure-resistant jacket around an outer wall of the fluid storage tank, controlling a temperature of the fluid in the fluid storage tank by allowing a liquid cooling or heating medium to flow in the enclosed pressure-resistant jacket at a pressure lower than a pressure x applied within the fluid storage tank, maintaining the pressure in the pressure-resistant jacket lower than the pressure x, sampling the cooling or heating medium from an air pool provided in a passage of the cooling or heating medium, and analyzing components of the cooling or heating medium, while preventing contamination of the fluid in the fluid storage tank with the liquid cooling or heating medium.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROTECTIVELY COVERING TEMPERATURE SENSITIVE PRODUCTS
A system for protecting temperature sensitive products. The system comprises a cover that fits over a product. The cover has a first component, a second component, and a closure system. The first component covers the top of the product and at least a portion of a first side of the product, and the second component covers at least a portion of the other sides of the product. The closure system closes openings between the first component and the second component and tightens the cover around the product. The cover is removable from the product by releasing the closure system and pulling the second component of the cover in a horizontal or downward direction away from the first side of the product.
Protection system for sulfur storage apparatus
A calcium aluminate cement protective coating is resistant to sulfuric acid and can be used as a lining to protect surfaces in sulfur storage vessels and sulfuric acid storage vessels. The protective coating can include calcium aluminate cement, calcium aluminate based synthetic aggregates, and water. The protective coating is resistant to sulfur and sulfuric acid attack, and thus can be used to protect surfaces inside sulfur storage pits, sulfur storage tanks, and sulfuric acid storage containers.
TAILGATE ASSEMBLY FOR A ROLL-OFF CONTAINER
A tailgate assembly for a roll-off container includes a tailgate hinge that is operable to attach a tailgate to a container such that the tailgate is movable between an open position and a closed position. A sealing material located between the container and the tailgate when the tailgate is in the closed position.
Heated tailgate device
A tailgate assembly includes a tailgate hinge that is operable to attach a tailgate to a vacuum tank such that the tailgate is movable between an open position and a closed position, the vacuum tank operable to withstand vacuum pressure when the tailgate is in the closed position. A tailgate warming tube loop is operable to circulate a heated fluid through the tailgate, the tailgate warming tube loop attached to an interior surface of the tailgate and a first rear pipe flange that includes a first rear pipe flange warming channel in communication with the tailgate warming tube loop.
Heated slurry transport system
A heated slurry transport system for receiving, transporting and unloading a cuttings slurry in a non-frozen manner in cold weather environments. The heated slurry transport system generally includes a portable tank having an interior surface, at least one wall, and a rear door. A layer of insulation surrounds at least a portion of the portable tank to help retain heat within the portable tank. A heating unit is attached to the portable tank and adapted to heat a fluid that is transferred through at least one heat loop attached to the portable tank to heat the interior of the portable tank and the contents of the portable tank.
Universal robotic-enabled storage and retrieval system
The present application discloses temperature regulated apparatuses, methods, and computer program products for temperature regulated containers. An example temperature regulated apparatus includes a base container. The base container includes at least a base portion, one or more sidewall portions, and a lid portion. The example temperature regulated apparatus also includes one or more thermoelectric components, where (i) each of the one or more thermoelectric components are configured to be disposed within the interior of the base container, (ii) each thermoelectric component comprises an exterior surface, an interior surface, and a composite semiconductor layer disposed between the exterior surface and the interior surface, and (iii) each thermoelectric component is configured to, in an instance current flows through the thermoelectric component, transfer heat between the interior surface and exterior surface.
Subsea fluid storage unit
A modular subsea fluid storage unit has a variable-volume inner tank having a rigid top panel and a peripheral wall that is flexible by virtue of concertina formations. The peripheral wall is extensible and retractable vertically while the horizontal width of the tank remains substantially unchanged. A side wall of a lower housing part surrounds and is spaced horizontally from the peripheral wall of the inner tank to define a floodable gap between the peripheral wall and the side wall that surrounds the tank. An upper housing part extends over and is vertically spaced from the top panel of the inner tank and overlaps the side wall to enclose the inner tank. The floodable gap and the upper housing part enhance thermal insulation and trap any fluids that may leak from the inner tank.
Portable asphalt emulsion storage system
Disclosed is a portable storage system for asphalt and other like material that is required to be maintained at a particular constant heated temperature even in sub-zero ambient temperatures. The system may include an exterior covering over a frame to define an enclosure. The frame defines an interior space where an insulated tank resides. The tank is heated. The interior of the enclosure may be heated. Rails provided along a vertical surface of the enclosure and extending above the roof of the enclosure allow the entire system to be loaded as a roll-off load on a truck. A plurality of lugs with apertures therethrough extend beyond the exterior surface of the enclosure to enable the enclosure to be lifted by cranes and tied down during transport.
Heated tailgate device
This disclosure is directed toward a heated tailgate for use in cold climates. The heated tailgate may be used with a self-contained heated portable vacuum slurry box. The slurry box generally includes a vacuum tank, a structure attached to the tank, a vertical tailgate, and a hook for pulling the slurry box onto a vehicle. The heated tailgate provides that the slurry cuttings within the slurry box which are adjacent to the tailgate do not freeze and provides for a way in which the tailgate may seal to the vacuum box.
