Modular power generation facilities using shipping container-based modules

Systems, methods, and building block modules for modular power generation facilities are disclosed. A modular power generation facility includes a plurality of primary modules and a control system. Each primary module includes eight primary corners and an interior space. The modules are positioned in a vertical stack and are attached together to form a substantially modular enclosure for the generation of electricity. The modules include gen-set modules, each having an engine-generator and a fuel tank disposed in the interior, and a switchgear module having switchgear ganged to the gen-set modules. The control system communicates with the gen-set modules to coordinate the engine-generators as a unit and to control the loading of each of the generators in response to a power load demand. The control system is disposed in one or more of the primary modules with at least part of the control system being disposed in the switchgear module.

An automatic container interlock apparatus having a central shaft, a drive wheel positioned on the drive wheel, a locking lever positioned upper end of central shaft configured to rotate between a locked and an unlocked position, a first vertical slide extension and second vertical slide extension, said first vertical slide extension configured to vertically extend and collapse, the first vertical slide extension and the second vertical slide extension having a second collar slider, a shaft pin, a pair of flex arms having a first flex arm assembly and a second flex arm assembly, the first flex arm assembly pivotably connected to the shaft pin and a first collar slider, the second flex arm assembly having pivotably connected to said shaft pin and the second collar slider, an expansion device between first flex arm assembly and second flex arm assembly, a first rotational drive arm and a second rotational drive arm.

Locking device for containers

A locking device for containers on a vehicle chassis, having a housing, a plug-in pin which is mounted displaceably in the housing and/or a rotary pin which is mounted rotatably in the housing, wherein the plug-in pin and/or the rotary pin can be moved between an open position and a locked position. The invention was based on the problem of providing a locking device for containers which is triggered automatically by way of the loading operation. According to the invention, the problem is solved by the fact that a spring element which interacts with a triggering element acts on the plug-in pin or the rotary pin, wherein the triggering unit has at least one sensing bolt which protrudes out of the housing in the direction of a container fitting in the open position.

INTEROPERABLE PREFABRICATED MOBILE STRUCTURE
20240034552 · 2024-02-01 ·

A prefabricated mobile structure (e.g., substantially in the shape of a rectangular prism) that is substantially shorter than a standard 20-foot shipping container. The mobile structure includes an extension member extending outwardly from each respective upper corner of the structure substantially parallel to the structure's primary axis. Each extension member comprises an attachment point that is adapted to connect with a support portion of a spreader configured to engage with corner fittings of a standard 20-foot freight container. The respective extension members effectively extend the length of the attachment profile of the mobile structure while maintaining a shorter primary body portion. This may allow the prefabricated mobile structure to, for example, be lifted by a lifting device, such as a spreader, that is adapted for lifting a standard 20-foot shipping container while the prefabricated mobile structure's body remains compact enough to be loaded onto a CROP sled for transport.

An apparatus, a vehicle and a method for securing intermodal cargo containers is provided. Couplers include pins and bottom supports to engage apertures and bottom surfaces of corner fittings for intermodal cargo containers. The couplers may also include sidewall supports to engage forward facing side surfaces of the corner fittings. The pins, bottom supports, and sidewall supports hold an intermodal cargo container in place through a relatively large range of acceleration forces without damaging the corner fittings of the intermodal cargo containers. The couplers are selectively movable from a retracted position to an extended position to engage the corner fittings of the intermodal cargo containers.
