COMPOSITE SIDEWALL AND CARGO BODY HAVING SAME
A composite molded cargo body panel including a core, an interior skin secured to a first side of the core having a thickness, and exterior skin secured to a second side of the core, and a plurality of recesses. The plurality of recesses are dispersed along a first direction at intervals in the interior skin, with the core thickness at each of the plurality of recesses being reduced compared to a maximum core thickness, and each of the plurality of recesses defines a support surface. A pocket is formed in each of the plurality of recesses, with the core thickness at the pocket being less than the core thickness at each of the plurality of recesses. A plurality of logistics inserts are attached to the respective support surfaces of the plurality of recesses so that, at each of the plurality of recesses, the logistics insert extends across the pocket.
Stackable Cast Stone Composite Fermentation and Storage Tank
A liquid storage vessel having a base with a bottom and an interior floor; a continuous side extending vertically from the base and having an interior surface, the bottom and continuous side each including an internal layer and an external layer separated by a material barrier and configured such that the interior layers form an inner containment liner, and the external layers form a continuous exterior structural shell enclosing the inner containment liner. A top is affixed to the continuous side and has an interior ceiling. Access to the tank interior is provided by one or more manways. Mounting and connecting structures enable the tanks to be stacked directly atop one another and then structurally connected. The exterior structural shell is fabricated from high performance fiber reinforced concrete, and the inner containment liner is fabricated from a geopolymer concrete blend.
FLEXIBLE STORAGE TANK
Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to a sealed storage tank. The sealed storage tank includes a polymeric layer having a thickness in a range of from about 0.05 mm to about 1 mm. The sealed storage tank further includes a fibrous scrim layer directly contacting the polymeric layer. The fibrous scrim layer includes a denier value in a range of from about 500 denier to about 1500 denier. The polymeric layer is optionally substantially translucent or transparent and is optionally at least partially visible through the fibrous scrim layer.
FLEXIBLE STORAGE TANK
Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to a sealed storage tank. The sealed storage tank includes a first film. The first film includes a first polymeric layer having a thickness in a range of from about 0.05 mm to about 1 mm. The first film further includes a first fibrous scrim layer directly contacting the first polymeric layer. The first fibrous scrim layer has a denier value in a range of from about 500 denier to about 1500 denier. The sealed storage tank further includes a second film. The second film includes a second polymeric layer having a thickness in a range of from about 0.05 mm to about 1 mm. The second film further includes a second fibrous scrim layer directly contacting the second polymeric layer. The second fibrous scrim layer has a denier value in a range of from about 500 denier about 1500 denier.
Container for storing and transporting heat-sensitive products
The present invention relates to a container provided with heat insulation means (8), characterized in that the heat insulation means (8) are removable and consist of a partition having a multilayered structure, or films, arranged between the wall of the tank (5) and at least the walls of two of the above-mentioned sides (2, 2′) as well as the upper surface (4) of the container (1). The invention further relates to the use of such heat insulation means (8) in a conventional container (1).
Flexible large container with a seam-free useful space
A flexible large container for transporting and storing a filling product. The container has a usable space formed by top, bottom, and side walls that are constructed from a plurality of fabric sheets. The portions of the fabric sheets that enclose the usable space are welded together to provide a stitchless usable space. Upper portions of the sidewalls extend upward beyond the usable space to form a hem. Lift loops that enable the large container to be lifted by mechanical means are sewn onto the hem. Thus, the usable space remains stitchless, i.e., without stitch holes, yet the lift loops are stitched to the hem.
LIGHTWEIGHT HERMETIC STORAGE SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DRY AGRICULTURAL COMMODITIES
A lower cost, light weight, hermetic system and method for storage of dry commodities outdoors for up to 1000 tonnes of commodity includes a multilayer joined material with a thickness of 0.2-0.3 mm, a weight of approximately 200 g/m.sup.2, a permeability to oxygen of less than 3 cc/m.sup.2/day and a permeability to water of less than 4 g/m.sup.2/day, a tensile strength of approximately 38 MPa, and insect penetration-resistance of approximately 1200 g/m.sup.2 (Dart test value).
ARTICLES OF COMPOSITE CONSTRUCTION AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
An article manufactured in a mould and which comprises a structural composite of plastics layers, the article having a wall defining an internal space for holding contents therein; wherein, the wall is formed from at least two layers of plastics materials; wherein a first of said layers comprises a thermoplastics material and at least a second layer comprises a thermosetting resin and a fibrous layer.
Hybrid Smart Composite Container And Method of Operating the Container
A shipping container including a container frame arranged along edges of the shipping container having a rectangular shape, side wall panels made of a composite material, attachment elements attached between the container frame and tire side wall panels, a computer unit having a communication device, and a plurality of sensors measuring environmental parameters of the shipping container arranged at the side walls, the plurality of sensors operatively connected to the computer unit by the communication device.
Air cargo container and curtain for the same
A curtain closure for the cargo opening of an air cargo container and the air cargo containers that have the same. The curtain closures include a fabric layer, and at least one of an insulating layer or a reinforcing layer attached to the inside of the fabric layer.
